You and Anna are an amazing couple. This was a very raw video as for many of us the loss of family members at the hands of the Bosch in the wars is still a fresh wound, not easily forgotten and a struggle to forgive. We loss a great deal and the family was changed forever.

With Miss Anna's sweetness (and she is a great helper) and your knowledge Peter (which is very attractive) the two of you make a good match. You give us so much on your channel which makes it the most interesting show on U-Tube. Thank you for all the hard work you do helping us to learn and enjoy at the same time!

What to say, I believe all the superlatives were already used, and we would need another Shakespeare to invent new words for your outstanding renovation work. But today I would like to especially thank you for your reminiscing on the terrible times of the WWII and the suffering of French people. Thank you both.

Thank you for the tour of the site of the Battle of Graignes. I'm not sure I'd ever heard of that battle and now I am interested to look up more about it. As an American, I extend my thanks to the people of France who gave their lives trying to aid the American soldiers. Very humbling, and I appreciate the respectful way you presented this segment. Best wishes for your renovation projects and Miss Anna, you take care of yourself!

Very nostalgic indeed! Does bring a tear to my eye. So sad, so many lovely people lost their lives and the heartaches of families and friends whom have lost their dearly beloved people. The Zombie door episode was hilarious, just imagine a nasty looking hand trying to get a hold of a person, I scare easily, so I would be screaming loudly. The cottage door and outside buildings are so beautiful, so smartly put together with only available off-cuts, it looks far more costly. I so enjoy the episodes cannot wait for the next. I have a lot to catch up, but so worthwhile!!

Thank you for taking the time to bring attention to the events at Graignes in 1944. It's good never to forget in the hopes we won't get complacent and allow it to occur again. Also, great job on the Zombie door replacement! Hanging a door, and having to make a frame to fit it, is an art, and you make it look easy when I know it's not!

My heart is over pouring of relief, for years i have been watching ytchannels about abandoned chateaus in europe. Now a days there are a lot of opposite channels, beautiful beatuiful people like you two, going in to those sad and left alone buildings, make them live again, all the love through knowledge, great imagination, great taste (whom mostly does'nt appear without knowledge) determination, following it all through AND share it with all of us. A huge inspiration for so many people. I get so touched and impressed. My house was buildt in 1924 (Norway)
Originally it was a smithy, a large workshop. It was converted into housing in the 90s. Since it is 3 years until it turns 100. I want it to flourish until then. I have done a lot in the years I have lived here, kept it in a kind of art deco style. But I want to emphasize the style further now, as the house will be refurbished over the next three years. You have given me many good tips and the courage to start. I also have to do a lot myself, on a very low budget. But I'm really looking forward to it now, thanks to channels with beautiful good people like you. Thank you so much for making videos and sharing them here. I turn off adblock on your channel;)

It's a shame you cannot get any help, maybe in different year you may have, but then may not and prefer to do it yourselves. So interesting in such a sad way to hear the history of Graignes.
