I agree, I want her to perform every one of her songs on Vevo, the sessions are always perfection. I love this performance, she really does capture your attention and not let go until she is finished and releases you. Thanks for a great reaction Michael. I think you might not care for some of her songs on her new album, I love the album, it is very experimental, but I am sure there are some you will just completely love too.
I just say that because there are so many people who have voiced their less than enthusiastic feelings for some of her not so "Aurora" songs.
Hey ! thanks for you comment, as usual ;) I understand what you mean. Well, I think that a lot of people have a lot of expectations when it comes to Aurora, and once you love a universe, a style, it's sometimes hard to get used to changes. But you know, I'm always willing to try new things (when you go from Abba, to Aurora, passing by Nightwish or Babymetal, Dimash or Rammstein....) so yes, I will be really glad to discover this new side of her, even though I might love some songs less...but I might also love them more? who knows ? ;)
@@michaelreactions Right? I find that some of them that were not favorites, they are juggling for position in the favorite spots on the album. I think Invisible Wounds is my favorite typical Aurora and Starvation is my favorite not typical Aurora. I love Starvation, the music video is just so visually stunning, raw and aggressive, at least IMO.
Like a very high quality wine, she really matures excellently. The more I watch this performance, the more it hooks me and draws me into it. Mindblowing sounds. I should finally listen to the album version, I guess...😀
Anyway, thanks for this prompt and interesting reaction to Aurora, this so creative and free spirit, who creates, through her voice and her whole singing being, entire worlds, gorgeous and full of emotions.🙂👍

@@michaelreactions There is a remixed version with nature sounds that is very cool. That was actually released a few weeks ago, before the regular version was released with the album.
Way to get to this one so quickly! I agree with you, that was an amazing performance! And it sounds so good on headphones. They really worked the reverb on this one, and also seemed to be creating some loops of her voice and keyboard on the fly, which was really cool.
I feel like this song really has some medieval vibes, and could very easily be in the soundtrack of a movie from that era. Or maybe at a renaissance festival.
It just doesnt get any better. I didn't want it to end.
And this one is like strip down. It is creasy how much you can do with her voice and one instrument + supporting keyboard. This is Art.
Other versions (very subjective :) ):
1) Remix is like more powerful and her voice just blends (like harmony) with music and instrument. there are also more ambient nature sounds
2) album version is also amazing. Even more folk-y version also with such kind of instrument but more complex instrumentals then this striped version (I feel like 2 or even in some moment 3 melodies or instrument lines and I like how some sounds go more on front in some moments of this song_. I had a little feeling like I would be in medieval tavern :).

i'm not sure. there are other live performances of this song which are a bit better for my taste, bit more traditional. like the one recorded in cologne. but the audio quality of the vevo recording is for sure better.

I think musically this song is very similar to the song The Seed. Of course different instrumentation and slower tempo. Can musicians give their opinion on this?
J'adore cette chanson, une de mes préférées de son nouveau disque, et, comme c'est une de ses particularités, cette chanson va évoluer au fil de ses concerts, un enregistrement sur disque, une vidéo ("clip") n'est pour elle qu'une étape dans la vie de ses chansons qui ne sont jamais figées. Votre commentaire est très intéressant et je le partage totalement. Moi-même, j'en parle partout car elle s'engage vraiment contre l'inaction climatique et notre inconscience à ne pas agir (sur d'autres chansons de ce disque, c'est contre la guerre). En même temps je me dis que pousser à ce que le grand public la découvre un jour en France, je ne sais, elle est la meilleure et ne rêve pas d'être la numéro 1, elle s'en fout, elle ne veut qu'une chose : que ses paroles, son art s'adressent à tous et nous amènent à réfléchir.
1 petite remarque : je crois que Brian Eno a travaillé avec elle sur cette chanson précisément (dans le cadre de NATURE).
au fait, vous devriez faire une réaction sur une de ses chansons et en... français afin que vos et nos amis français puissent en parler autour d'eux, cette chanson est bien sûr "The seed" mais choisir la vidéo "director's cut" (ou sur ma chaîne) - surtout pas l'officielle - ou aussi sa version du concert HAIK avec une chorale masculine dans la forêt ou la "LIVE At Lollapalooza Brasil 2018", par contre la version " 'The Seed' (live for Like A Version)" est protégée.

Concernant the seed. J'ai déjà fait la version Vevo, le clip officiel et j'ai également fait le concert Haik dans son intégralité. Peut être la vesion lapaloosa..? Mais en français....ce.serait plus simple pour moi....mais 98% des personnes qui regardent ma chaine ne sont pas francophones....donc c'est toujours délicat je trouve ;)
