I'm surprised no one mentioned the agressive combo's these weapons have. Like the normal attack, special, special, normal into special. Or the special, normal into special. They are great combos for keeping up close(especially when downing) while dealing damage.
Well as you might have guessed i am not the best fist player clearly. Keep also in mind that though what you say is true most players will stick to more basic combos because well it works xD. In order to truely master the weapon you would need to know the combos you are mentioning!
@@pentagram4872 Glad to see your last missing weapon guide ! I can only agree that this weapon has the most sophisticated true combo of all weapons. But theses are really important to exploit because the range of the weapon is really bad, so the true combo mentionned above is really a must have when you knock down your opponent without having to stop attacking and run to him. Something worth mentionning is that the heavy attack damage are never worth it compared to light attack which is basicly 2x your weapon damage. So you use heavy attack mainly to close the gap not to deal damage. Knuckle having the best attack per second of all weapon with their light attack, rags and imbue increase your damage way more than any other weapons ( because the +flat dmg is doubled since you hit twice ), specially early on, if you dont use rags with cloth / iron knuckle you will feel subpar in term of damage compared to every other weapon, this is an important advice for early game player. Also, you mentionned that knuckle are not great against multiple enemies, apart from spear and halberd, i think they are at a good third position for melee weapons because of the running attack having such a fast animation, a good range and most importantly a really fast recovery better than any other weapon, it allows you to safely hit an enemies inside a pack and dodge away. Only the spear can deal with pack more effectively, other weapons cannot compare. If you have poison rag you can just focus 3 running attack on the same enemy safely, this is the best way to kill humans or hyena groups with cloth knuckle early on, and it is incredibly safe. Lastly you could have mentionned the best knuckle in the game which are easy to get but a bit tricky, legacy chest unsuspected strength golden iron knuckle has 51 physical dmg with a 1.0 speed, making it the highest physical dps weapon in the entire game when using light attacks. The trick is to enchant the iron knuckle prior to legacy chest since this enchant does not exist on the golden iron knuckle itself. PS: no 3 attack true combo for light with knuckle, it is only a 2 light true combo, after the second light the next light is the same as the first, and you will see a really short recovery / combo break animation if you look closely ( because you could have continued the true combo with an heavy ), increasing the delay slightly for the third light compared to the first 2 lights.

Very nice ) I for some reason thought you had 1h axes up already, hope you have fun with them, my favorite weapon because of how much impact and damage you can pack in those super fast multihit combos, kazite/ornate chacram with musings enchantment is pretty fun to use with sunfall axe, chimera pistol into chakram dance into kick and an axe combo once they stand up was super fun for me

Well i think that since gauntlets dont block 100% of damage you are less likely to rely on blocks which means stamina managment is a bit harder so i think warrior monk is pretty mandatory. Also means parries are really interesting so brace/counterstrike are quite a good idea imo. Perfect strike should work very well but be careful when you use it as the lack of reach from gauntlets might make you miss a bit more than with other weapons. As for other skill trees get what you want: most will work just fine. I think that if you have an empty breakthrough slot it is always reliable to go with mercenary as you can dodge a lot of things by jsut runnong around!

Knuckles? I think you mean the Kaboom hands lol. Tough weapon to get the hang of, but extremely powerful and fun once you get those combos down.

if they wanted to make a quick and fast weapon they should have given them faster animations. the sword is faster.
