Hi, great vid on using the clear bobber stop. I’m a new steelhead fisherman and there is something that is confusing me. Do you then bait the hook with a spawn bag, or are the trout just supposed to attack the bead? Thanks!
@@RayGetNasty1 You could do that or bait loop with wool would work great more presentation the better :)

How does the fish get hooked because it’s not on the hook it will bite on the line? I don’t get it. But can you use this for ponds?
the fish will try to take a bite of the soft bead and once you see the float drop.. fish is on! this rig is mainly used for drift fishing. you can always try it in ponds/lake but you can also try super glueing it to your hook :)

for leader line depth depends on the river/creek or stream your fishing on. don't want a long leader line. and nope bobber stopper in the soft bead should work just fine
To much trouble try ultimate way to peg a soft bead. It’s fast and good

No, you do not! Just with soft bead on the mainline 1 to 2" from the hook

if you painted the stopper with a red marking pen and then peg you rubber egg . won`t it look as if its a embryo in the egg????

these beads are semi buoyant because the hook weights down the soft beads! but yes they float

Will fish smell human scent off the beads if you handle them to much? plus can this be done with tooth picks instead?
i haven't tried using a tooth pick but its preferable to use a clear bobber stop because it has the stealth look to it and won't be noticeable

A lot easier way to install a bead than stops like this. Try a toothpick next time.

Looks much easier to rig a hard bead and pegg it
Soft beads are more realistic plus you can add scent to the soft beads and it will stay rather than hard beads also when a fish grabs onto a soft bead feels like a real egg. Not to mention you can just fish soft beads onto your shank of a hook with super glue
