- Oviedo Florida is a great suburb of Orlando! It is quiet and rural and today I'm looking for the chickens that are supposed to be living in Oviedo. They are everywhere, on the logo for the city and there are paintings and statues of chickens but where are they? I am also showing you some beautiful neighborhoods in Oviedo and some great things to do there. Join me to see what its like, living in Oviedo.

LOVE your channel! Hubby and I Went to Florida in 2016, absolutely loved it! Have been several times since! I’ve been wanting to move to the Orlando area since, only issue... my husband. Ha! Anyway, found your channel and have been making my husband watch videos on Florida and Orlando. He was born and raised in SoCal, and he is determined to stay here. Anyway, he’s slowwllyyy coming around to the idea of moving, very slowly. He says I’m brainwashing him since Florida is all I talk about, lol. Keep up on the awesome videos! 🙌🏼

You can hear the chickens from the bank. All you have to do is turn around and look at Ace Hardware or the post office, so you must not have looked very hard. They are usually right down the street at the library too.

Thanks! There are definitely people who have horses in Oviedo. There are homes on several acres with barns and such.
I moved to Oviedo in 1998, our first day driving to meet the moving truck at out house we actually saw two people riding their horses down the middle of Mitchell Hammock by Lockwood Blvd.
Thanks for posting- How diverse is Oviedo? This place came highly recommended and I even found a nice house- however I am relocating and would like to know if there is a African American presence there?

Oviedo is still a country town.
I live in Palm Beach County...I was there last month to visit the mall.. we drove through it's a beautiful town, very small.. but be aware TRUMP BANNERS IN FRONT OF EVERY OTHER HOUSE. So that's my observation.

I live in Oviedo now and have since 2003. It’s not that diverse at all and is very conservative. Several people I know who are have brown or black skin have dealt with racism here. Even I, as a middle aged white woman, can see this happening a lot in this area. And yes, as someone above stated, there are lots of Trump followers here. If we could move, we would. But we’ve got 17 years equity in our house and we can’t walk away from that.

Anywhere from 400k up. It depends on the house.

O is there tolls from Orlando to Oviedo
Hi! Thanks for the question. It depends on which route you take to go to Oviedo. One route on the 417 has tolls. Another route up Aloma rd doesn’t have tolls or through Longwood no tolls also.
Your videos are very informative and I enjoy them out of the many handful of Orlando tour videos but please fix your audio. The sound are polar opposites with super loud intro and extremely low narration sound. Your content stands out from the rest of the crowd but the sound needs a make over. Keep up the great work!

went to oviedo bc of schools, but the leadership in the town is very poor. Not very moral people and they have a tendency to bully others. Self professed Christians don't act Christian, police are corrupt, its hickish. Our neighbors are extremely disrespectful. Overall bad experience. Looking forward to leaving.
