I have a 06 LX V6 in baby blue with a few added extras, absolutely love it
Same! Great car
My neighbors car on I just put O2 sensors and it was so easy to put in. Dang that car is so quiet and it’s got a hunter and 90,000 miles on it and no issues whatsoever got 190 miles.
I should really Thank you for making this video, i was terribly waiting for someone to film a 2007 Sonata v6 i love the car, so thanks again.
Thank you for watching!
Heck yea bro appreciate it these things are sweet ❤
Nice cars!
GREAT car. You're right about the pickup, it goooes, lots of power.
Sonata NF❤️
I had one of these 06 GLS V6 3.3 I bought it off my dad in 2016, sold it in 2019 with 175k miles & outside of some weird interior electronics it was reliable asf. My dad had it from new in 2006 up until he sold it to me. The 3.3 for the time really was a good engine, pulled strong from a stop but could still pull on the highway. The guy I sold it to ended up totaling it in 2021. My current daily is an GT Sport hatch from 2018 & although it has nicer features it is no where near as reliable as my Sonata was
The 3.3 can pull!
Bro my grandparents have a 06 Elantra with 185k miles and that thing runs like a charm it’s my daily now
That is awesome!
If you have a chance, test the Mazda 6 GG with a 3.0 liter engine, please
had an 09 in the family with 250hp. felt nice and punchy.
Nice!
21:25 that 4runner was kinda hauling with you on that backroad 🤣
Yes, he was!
2.4 L four cylinder speedometer says 15 150 and I believe it’ll do every bit of it. Damn fuckers are fast.
2006-2010 very good
Was selling Hyundai from '03 to '06, purchased the first US-made '06 Sonata we received in light blue metallic with this grey interior. Mine was a 4-cylinder, very reliable with the 4-speed automatic, sold it to a friend in 2013 with 110k miles on it, still running like new. The V-6 was a great engine, you could just brush the throttle and it would accelerate like a jet with the revvs staying at about 3500rpm.
Most of their products were overbuilt in those days. The Elantra was a great entry level car for around 12K, while the XG 350 was much more reliable than the Jaguar XJ6, of which it was a half-price copy (sort of). As for the 06-10 Sonata, it was a copy of the Audi A6, and Hyundai admitted it.
Alas, today their cars are mostly four-cylinder (turbo on the higher end models) and thousands of the engines have been recalled for possible fires. A base Sonata SEL is now nearly 30 grand. Instead of simple gauges there is a huge flat panel display. Progress? Thanks for bringing us the road test of a great car of the not-to-distant past.
Thank you for watching! The V6 is a really stellar engine.
Only thing I like about them is the radio radio. It don’t work. It works like shit got a bang on it and it still don’t work. You put the window on the driver side window and the radio comes on so I think the radio was open the back some cars, and everything else is up to the radio
Yoooo the Next Review should be the 2020 bmw x7 40i….. I’ve seen it at the dealer today but never had a chance to really look at it…
I'll try to find one
can i connect my phone to the speakers and play music? i didn't see any aux cord?
Bluetooth Music
Yeah, my son had a job for three years. He’s trying to buy a homeless Sonata just like the one you’re driving but the thing is he’s only trying to pay the lowest he can what you thinking I’ll see him for $89 so $130 lolI don’t know if you still or not. I would like to know.
This shares a lot of parts with the Optima, but it has a different engine, and a slightly uglier interior.
I like it more than the Optima
