Inversely, I would have suggested some early Slayer, like Black Magic, Die By The Sword, maybe Cryonics, before jumping to stuff off of Hell Awaits and Reign in Blood. Seasons in the Abyss is not really the best album you want to intro Slayer with, as it's not representative of what made them so great in the 1980s. *Side note: Slayer was a local band to me when I was a kid. "Angel of Death" is to Slayer as "Ace of Spades" is to Motorhead. It's their classic song. It's probably my favourite thrash song ever written. You should give that one a listen. If you've seen Gremlins 2 you might recognise it from the "Gremlin turning into a spider" scene.
So glad you liked South of Heaven! Honestly, I think you might as well dive into their more quintessentially Slayer-sounding stuff. Angel of Death is a lot of people's introduction to them since it's the first song on their most influential album.
Dead skin mask is dark but its not by far the darkest SLAYER song, 213 is about Jeffrey Dalmer, Angel of death is about Joseph Mengila, Jihad is about 911 thru the terrorists eyes, psychopathy red is about a serial killer & there is a bunch of other dark SLAYER songs.
@@slayerbob213 yeah, you are absoloutly right, but personally it's just the way the lyrics are written that creeped me out, i first listen to that song when i was just a pleeb, thinking that Metallica was the "heavier" band of all time.
It’s even better when you watch the video at the same time. Watching Nick Mensa and Friedman on the video is magic. Dave kills it at the end and I mean kills it in an epic way
The main riff is the sound of a neck breaking, the 1st solo is the sound of warheads raining from the sky, and the bridge is an anvil dropping from God's hands itself to punish every sinner who dares invoke his wrath. Metal incarnate. 😎
@@robwalsh9843 I wouldn’t argue with you on that because the musicianship on this song is absolutely thrash metal perfection. Although it’s not my favorite Megadeth song there is no use trying to convince anybody that it’s not the greatest because it is certainly in that category. Depending on my mood The Conjuring, Good Morning Black Friday, and 5 Magics are up there for me.
23:26 I can't wait for the day when she discovers Death (Chuck Schuldiner), in particular Flesh and the power it holds. That baby holds as much different riffs as other bands don't do in whole albums
Holy Wars is thrash metal perfection when it comes to the instrumentation. Everybody is in top form on arguably one of the best songs in metal history and if you watch the video it’s even better cuz you get to see the boys tearing it up. And Dave’s bullet belt is so dope I actually bought one back in the day.
Really glad you enjoyed Anthrax and Slayer! I think the ideal introductory song from Anthrax is "I Am The Law." It's got a great hook and a lot of energy, but it's less chaotic than "Caught In A Mosh." And it's about Judge Dredd, which is fun. With Slayer, I think my only caution would be about their lyrics. "Angel of Death" is about a Nazi doctor who committed atrocities during the Holocaust, and the band basically writes about that real history like a horror movie, and depicts the doctor as the monster he was. But because the song doesn't come out and say, 'He was a bad guy' (probably because it's obvious from what he did) some people interpret it as pro-Nazi. It's not, though, and neither is the band. They just write about dark subjects, like a lot of other metal bands do.

Anthrax has done several hip hop songs, starting with I’m The Man, then they did Bring The Noise with Public Enemy. They also did Staring Down The Barrel Of A Gun with The Beastie Boys. They also did a country song I’m pretty fond of, A Toast To The Extras
Here' some context on the Big 4: Metallica - their sound came together from combining the speed & aggression of Motorhead and the melodic, raw delivery of Diamond Head. Megadeth - Dave Mustaine was a huge fan of Diamond Head as well as the punk attitude of Sex Pistols... but he also added the proficiency of Judas Priest & Iron Maiden & added some jazz elements. Slayer - Their sound came from the dual guitar delivery of Judas Priest & Iron Maiden. But they also added underground punk rock aggression & speed from D.R.I, Minor Threat, etc... the imagery of Venom & Mercyful Fate. Anthrax - They were from the New York scene, and had the Ramones' influence & humor, and the melody & delivery of Kiss. But they loved Motorhead, as well as Judas Priest, AC/DC and Iron Maiden. They were also the only band of the 4 w/ a singer (as opposed to a screamer) Joe Belladonna, who was more of a fan of Journey & Whitesnake.

Songs from The Big 4 you should listen to next: Megadeth- Symphony of Destruction (you'll love the bass line) Metallica- Leper Messiah (great guitar sound, slower tempo, right up your alley) Anthrax- Indians (their best song, not too fast, until "War Dance" anyway) Slayer- Angel of Death (because its one of the best metal songs ever!)
Hi Kira! Here are some songs from Megadeth, Slayer and Metallica divided between softer, or more digestible songs, and heavier or more complicated songs, with their respective years of release. (Sorry to avoid Anthrax, I don't listen to them much, but Indians is an excellent song for the next one). MEGADETH Digestible songs: A tout le monde (1994), Trust (1997), Back in the day (2004) Heavier: My last words (1986), Good mourning black friday (1986), Poison was the cure (1990) METALLICA Digestible: For whom the bell tools (1984), The unforgiven (1991), Whiskey in the jar (1998) Heavier: Disposable heroes (1986), Battery (1986), Blackened (1988) SLAYER Digestible: Seasons in the abyss (1988), Dead skin mask (1988), Mandatory suicide (1988) Heavier: Angel of death (1986), Postmortem (1986), Raining Blood (1986). These last two songs should be heard together in this order!
Cool suggestions. For Anthrax I would add: Digestible: Got the Time (1990), Only (1993), Safe Home (2003), In The End (2011) - that’s a tribute to Dimebag and Dio Heavier: Intro to Reality / Belly of the Beast (1990), Metal Thrashing Mad (1984), Cadillac Rock Box (2003), Fight ‘Em Til You Can’t (2011)
The first time I heard SLAYER was in 1998 with the song "Evil Has No Bondaries", which is the first song on the first record. Months later I went to their show at the Monster of Rock Festival of the same year here in Brazil. It was one of the most insane shows I've ever seen. On 06/06/2006 I repeated the dose, they opened with this song "South Of Heaven", and amended with "Silent Scream" as one song. It was even more brutal. I loved it !!! :D
6:11 - Caugh in a Mosh is about the guitarrist's parents fighting when he was a young boy. Hence the name and the lyrics. A lot of Anthrax songs are personal stories from the members of the band mixed up with social criticism. And the album you picked the song from is my favourite! Love ya, keepit on. Cheers.
Oh, and just to add Mustaine taught Kerry King about "The Devil's Chords", when he played guitar for Megadeth on tour, and Slayer based their sound around it. Once again; without Dave Mustaine; thrash would not have existed (Scott Ian from Anthrax even said the same thing). No Dave; No Metallica, Anthrax, Slayer, or Megadeth. He is the god of thrash.
Honestly, I agree in a way, but I would say you have Brian May of Queen to thank for the thrash sound. Listen to Stone Cold Crazy or Brighton Rock, for some examples. Also Tony Iommi and Black Sabbath. Diamond Head.
@@vovindequasahi i think thats more for metal in general. In terms of thrash, I still think Mustaine holds the crown. Iommi, DH, and May all may have gotten the ball rolling for metal, but Mustaine brought thrash
You can't go wrong with any song from Rust In Peace. It's one of a handful of metal albums (there must be like 5 or 6 in total) that is literally perfect, flawless from beginning to end, every second of it. Not many bands have albums like that.
If there's a big four to do for the decade, it's definitely: Avenged Sevenfold SOAD Trivium Slipknot She'll probably get some other requests for bands like Disturbed, Five Finger Death Punch, Linkin Park, and Lamb of God, but I doubt those would be that great of listens.
Like, Mustaine is a brilliant man and an icon, but it's a certified fact that Marty is one of the greatest guitarists to ever live, and if there's an amazing Rust in Peace, Countdown to Extinction, or Youthanasia solo to be heard, it's usually Friedman.
Angel of death is to me the best one to start on with Slayer because it has their trademark speed/thrash sound, but then it slows down with a midtempo riff that’s more accessible.
Of the big four, I'd argue Anthrax is honestly the most underappreciated. So many good albums from them but the other three are just so much bigger in comparison. If you want something easier on the ear from them, their latest album's first two tracks, "Impaled" (a short minute long intro instrumental) and "You Gotta Believe" are great at just building excitement until it all comes full head in a "If I DON'T bang my head, I will combust" kind of way. It's great. Slayer's drumming can definitely sound chaotic, but not always. And I'd argue that South of Heaven is more indicative of their work as a whole, moreso than Raining Blood. Their last album, Repentless (genuinely a great album) is very much like SoH. Haha yeah, Holy Wars is an S-tier song on an S-tier album. The drumming and guitar is very fast, but they also show a clear understanding of rhythm and syncopation, so it's easier to understand. It's not just a wall of white noise. Great reviews! Can't wait to see more. 😄
More digestible Anthrax songs: Indians, Madhouse, Medusa, Armed & Dangerous. And talking about Slayer: Reign in Blood & Angel of Death are their most popular songs, but they're also two of their more extreme ones. I would recommend Seasons in the Abyss, Dead Skin Mask or Skeletons of Society next. And if I'm guessing correctly then it's AC/DC next on your list.
This video came up on my suggestions and I'm very glad it did. As someone who grew up in the Big 4 thrash era, seeing new fans get as excited about it as I was 30+ years ago is incredibly satisfying. For awhile i wondered if newer styles had done away with the appeal of the classics to younger generations, but I'm really glad to see that they are still bringing such excitement and joy. So happy you've found this particular treasure-hoard! \m/
Anthrax would write simple sounding lyrics that were actually deep, Caught In A Mosh is completely metaphorical for being trapped in a situation you hate. Also, South Of Heaven is about Earth and how humans treat each other.
Alright now you have to do: 4 west coast thrash bands: Exodus (Piranha or The Toxic Waltz) Testament (Disciples of the Watch or Practice What You Preach) Death Angel (Kill As One or Road Mutants) Vio-Lence (Serial Killer or T.D.S) 4 east coast thrash bands: Anthrax (Metal Thrashing Mad or A Skeleton in the Closet) Nuclear Assault (Hang the Pope or Critical Mass) Overkill (Wrecking Crew or Elimination) Whiplash (Stage Dive or Last Man Alive) 4 teutonic thrash bands: Sodom (Nuclear Winter or M-16) Kreator (One Of Us or When the Sun Burns Red) Tankard (Zombie Attack or Open All Night) Holy Moses (World Chaos or Pool of Blood) and 4 Brazilian thrash bands: Sepultura (Arise or Refuse/Resist) Violator Sarcofago? These bands were 4 of my first 5 concerts: Metallica - 'Ride the Lightning' tour, Armored Saint opening Anthrax 'Spreading the Disease' tour, Accept opening Slayer 'Reign in Blood' tour, Overkill opening at a 200 person bar in Denver Megadeth 'Peace Sells ... ' tour, forget who opened, at the same 200 person bar, I met Dave Mustaine. First concert was 'Iron Maiden 'World Slavery Tour', saw them a second time on that tour when they came back through Denver and saw them at Red Rocks. I also saw Slayer/Megadeth and Anthrax - with Alice in Chains opening - on the 'Clash of the Titans' tour, at Red Rocks. Those were good days. Thanks for the reaction! Now do some Jethro Tull ...
I love the intelligence in ANTHRAX'S songs. You will have to listen to the lyrics of some of their songs and you will see what I mean. And their humor is great too. All four songs in this video were great choices.
Your reactions are just so adorable :) I love it when you "get" these bands and realize how awesome they are. You should try to listen to full albums if you can. Then you can really get the full experience. I think the next genre of metal you should check out is power metal, especially from Europe. Bands like Helloween, Gamma Ray and Nightwish, just to name a few. Most of these bands lack the heaviness of the metal bands that you are familiar with, but the guitar playing and vocals are absolutely jaw dropping
This is one of my favorite Cliff Bass lines. In the first "Searchinnnn" there's a distorted bass fill, and later he started improvising with the Wah and other effects and it's so good.
I'm not a parent but watching you react to METAL must be like the same feeling a parent gets when they first see their child walk. Keep it up there is SO MUCH more to discover. Ask your self; who was the first to discover Metal. That's a journey within its self.
Side note: As much of a HEAD as I am my 2 all time favorite songs are the opposite of Metal (NOT Britney Spears) and one of wich I requested be played at my funeral.
The next ones I recommend are definitely: Metallica - Dyer's Eve Anthrax - Madhouse Slayer - War Ensemble Megadeth - Killing is My Business... and Business is Good There are a lot more songs, but these represent thrash metal best, imo.
Killing is My Business, such an overlooked song. It's groovy af, but fast as hell too. The whole album is rather underrated imo. It sounds so different to most other bands and to latter albums. I remember first time I listened to it those weird rhythms in Loved To Death confused the hell out of me.
I grew up with classic rock and kinda missed out on the real heavy metal era, so it is great to listen to this and get a considered route into all that stuff. Keep up the good work!
The best part of discovering thrash is that feeling of excitement you have right now. This music at its worst is still lightyears ahead of anything now! Enjoy the ride and welcome to a new metalhead!
the difference between Slayer and the other big 4 Metalica fan "hey you like Metalica" to other fan"yeah they're my favorite band" Megadeth fan" you like Megadeth" other fan"yeah they rule" Anthrax fans "do you like anthrax?" "yeah they rule" Slayer fans see each other go "SLAAAAYERRRRRR!!"
WRONG!!! It actually goes like this: Metallica fans "Hey, you like Metallica?" "Yeah, but they sold out with The Black Album and St. Anger sucks ass. I like the first 4 albums. Lars is a goof for suing Napster, and Lulu... we don't talk about Lulu..." Megadeth fans "Hey, you like Megadeth?" "Why yes, I think I'm better than everyone else. I also AM better than everyone else, so there's that... " Anthrax fans "Hey, you like Anthrax?" "Nah, I heard there were chicks here" Slayer fans "Hey, you like Slayer?" "The establishment depresses me on a very real level. I find the core principles of a capitalist society are repulsive on an ethical and moral leve--DID YOU SAY SLAYERRRRGGHHHH?!! 😤🤟🏻"
Kira the next bands in your thrash journey should be the remaining three American bands that make up the 'big 7' (they're always debated on to replace anthrax in the big 4) and then the German big 4. Exodus - deliver us to evil Testament - disciples of the watch Overkill - head first Toxic waltz, practice what you preach and elimination would be the popular suggestions, but I think you'll like these songs better. They're in chronology as well :) The German big 4 are tankard, destruction, kreator and Sodom. My suggestions for them would be based on your reaction to heavier slayer.
yes i will probably go down that road. maybe some more videos on this big 4, then Exodus Overkill & Testament. I heard about them a lot. and of course the German big 4 need to happen
Fun reaction video! Metallica Enter Sandman was first song I heard from the Big 4, and I was hooked. I then heard Megadeth Symphony of Destruction and fell in love. Metallica cracked the door, Megadeth kicked the door wide open. Then I heard Anthrax, and they were a fun band. They were the one that felt like sitting down and having a great time with. They were fast, but also a fun band. As you've heard from others, Anthrax is more punk based, which comes from their drummer, Charlie. Charlie writes all of the Anthrax music after the first album. He writes the drum parts, the guitars, and bass. Then he'll play it for the rest of the band, and they'll make their tweaks to what he wrote. The rhythm guitarist, Scott Ian, writes the song lyrics for them. For a short time, when John Bush was the singer of the band, he would write some of the lyrics with Scott. Musically, Spreading The Disease, Among The Living, and State of Euphoria, you're going to get a very very heavy punk rock influence from Charlie's writing. He decided for Persistence of Time, he wanted to start experimenting, and wrote a somewhat more prog metal style album, and shifted them away from being just thrash. At the time, Scott Ian was going through a divorce, and wanting to write darker lyrics, and he didn't think Joey could sing the vocals dark enough for what he wanted and imagined when he wrote the lyrics. He was replaced by John Bush, who coincidently, had turned down joining Metallica when Metallica was forming prior to Kill 'Em All. I would rate Joey a 10/10 live, but I'm not the biggest fan of his higher pitch singing on the old albums. A lot of people love it. He has rejoined the band, and his vocals on album have gotten much better. If you were going to listen to anymore Joey era Anthrax, I would recommend the Live in Chile version of Skeletons In The Closet. That is from the same album as Caught In A Mosh, and I think it really shows the perfect vocals Joey can do singing live. It really captures them in their element the best. If you want to try a John Bush era Anthrax song, I would recommend the album version of Inside Out, not the video or a live version. The solo is played by Dimebag Darrel from Pantera. John Bush has a deeper voice than Joey and just has a much more gruff voice. Another great song from them with John Bush is Only. At one point, James Hatfield said that was the perfect metal song, and later said the song Safe Home is his favorite Anthrax song. Safe Home is a much more mellow song, and has my favorite Anthrax guitar solo, from Rob Caggiano. And, if you are very adventurous, there is a live performance of John Bush singing The Four Horsemen with Metallica. They were doing their 30 year celebration, and invited people to play with them, and John Bush chose to sing The Four Horsemen and they briefly talk about him turning down joining them back in the day. He and James sing the song together.
I believe that heavy metal is the best genre to play with your emotions as far as the instruments and music is concerned as far as lyrics though you'll need to try Country...also check out the unofficial fifth member of the big four Testament
Agree with Testament, disagree with lyrics and I really appreciate old country like Waylon, Cash and Jones. Metal does though have really moving lyrics as well.
Cool video. Awesome song choices and a great reaction. Here are two bands that I want to suggest: Sepultura & Holy Moses. Several people have already suggest Sepultura as they are from Brazil and probably the biggest thrash band outside of the US (don't quote me on that). As someone else in the comments suggested "Dead Embryonic Cells" and "Inner Self" would be good tracks to check out. Holy Moses are a German thrash metal band with a female lead singer. I would say that their music is less extreme than a band like Slayer but they do have more extreme vocals as every song I've heard are completely harsh/growled. Songs to check out would be "Devil's Dancer", "Current of Death", or "Defcon II", one song from each of their first three studio albums.
You should check out more of the Stooges, anything off their album Fun house. Also you should check out the Velvet Underground, MC5 and New York Dolls. They're the big four of Proto Punk.

Personally I would've picked among the living, I am the law, the horror of it all or imitation of life off the among the living album. But I'm glad you liked Anthrax Caught in a Mosh. I'm unusual in having this opinion but I actually like Anthrax more than Megadeth. Although there's no denying the genius of holy wars... punishment due, which is Megadeth's best.
Anthrax are my overall favorite of the Big 4, Megadeth are my least favorite. Rust In Peace is brilliant, and Killing Is My Business is IMO the best debut out of the Big 4, but overall they don't do it for me.
An idea for the next video is that you react to the second place of the suggestions you made. I really want you to hear Wake up dead, it's very technical and the lyrics are very comical hahahah.
Holy Wars is a trip, so many twists and turns, and each riff is better than the last, somehow 24:02 you're one of the most intelligent ''reactors'' ive seen on youtube! so happy i discovered this channel! also pls do more metal ;)
It's one of the best metal songs, yes, although there are many songs that are specifically better thrash metal. One of my favorites is T.D.S. by Vio-Lence (which is extremely unlistenable unless you are used to Sean Killian)

Here’s a fun challenge: find the bass in a Slayer song!
Slayer's "Dead Skin Mask" is their darkest song by far, disturbing lyrics, but slow passed. (no "screamo" haha).
Murp's zombie skin is better
Dead skin mask is dark but its not by far the darkest SLAYER song, 213 is about Jeffrey Dalmer, Angel of death is about Joseph Mengila, Jihad is about 911 thru the terrorists eyes, psychopathy red is about a serial killer & there is a bunch of other dark SLAYER songs.
@@slayerbob213 yeah, you are absoloutly right, but personally it's just the way the lyrics are written that creeped me out, i first listen to that song when i was just a pleeb, thinking that Metallica was the "heavier" band of all time.

Rust in Peace is the greatest metal LP in history
The main riff is the sound of a neck breaking, the 1st solo is the sound of warheads raining from the sky, and the bridge is an anvil dropping from God's hands itself to punish every sinner who dares invoke his wrath. Metal incarnate. 😎
In my opinion, it's the greatest technical thrash song of all time.
@@robwalsh9843 I wouldn’t argue with you on that because the musicianship on this song is absolutely thrash metal perfection. I love all of the Big 4, but I'll always have a special place in my heart for Anthrax.

Seek and Destroy still a huge concert fan favorite 40 years later
Here' some context on the Big 4:
Metallica - their sound came together from combining the speed & aggression of Motorhead and the melodic, raw delivery of Diamond Head.
Those were all perfect choices! Like all are top 5 songs of those bands (maybe Seek a top 20).

MEGADETH
Digestible songs: A tout le monde (1994), Trust (1997), Back in the day (2004)
Heavier: My last words (1986), Good mourning black friday (1986), Poison was the cure (1990)
METALLICA
Digestible: For whom the bell tools (1984), The unforgiven (1991), Whiskey in the jar (1998)
Heavier: Disposable heroes (1986), Battery (1986), Blackened (1988)
SLAYER
Digestible: Seasons in the abyss (1988), Dead skin mask (1988), Mandatory suicide (1988)
Heavier: Angel of death (1986), Postmortem (1986), Raining Blood (1986). These last two songs should be heard together in this order!
Nice list. I especially agree about Postmortem and Raining Blood needing to be listening to together
Cool suggestions.
For Anthrax I would add:
Digestible: Got the Time (1990), Only (1993), Safe Home (2003), In The End (2011) - that’s a tribute to Dimebag and Dio
Heavier: Intro to Reality / Belly of the Beast (1990), Metal Thrashing Mad (1984), Cadillac Rock Box (2003), Fight ‘Em Til You Can’t (2011)

The first time I heard SLAYER was in 1998 with the song "Evil Has No Bondaries", which is the first song on the first record. Months later I went to their show at the Monster of Rock Festival of the same year here in Brazil. It was one of the most insane shows I've ever seen.

@@Walamonga1313 Poland wasn't on those albums.

Anthrax would write simple sounding lyrics that were actually deep, Caught In A Mosh is completely metaphorical for being trapped in a situation you hate. Also, South Of Heaven is about Earth and how humans treat each other.

Anthrax 'Spreading the Disease' tour, Accept opening
Slayer 'Reign in Blood' tour, Overkill opening at a 200 person bar in Denver
Megadeth 'Peace Sells ...
I think Anthrax is one of the most underrated & under appreciated bands in the history of metal
cos they were too clean sounding and NY. Metal was never meant to be clean cut.
Metallica: Call od Duty
Anthrax: Serious Sam
Megadeth: Far Cry
SLAYER: Doom
Hell, even the Doom Slayer has SLAYER in his name
Megadeth is Gears of War, like literally they make a song for the game lol
Metallica is action 52
I love the intelligence in ANTHRAX'S songs. You will have to listen to the lyrics of some of their songs and you will see what I mean. And their humor is great too. All four songs in this video were great choices.
You made this music more entertaining to listen to. And some of it was better than I expected so thanks! Opened my mind to it more.
Metallica - No Remorse
Anthrax - Aftershock
Slayer - War Ensemble
Megadeth - My Last Words
Your reactions are just so adorable :) I love it when you "get" these bands and realize how awesome they are. You should try to listen to full albums if you can. Then you can really get the full experience.
I think the next genre of metal you should check out is power metal, especially from Europe. Bands like Helloween, Gamma Ray and Nightwish, just to name a few. Most of these bands lack the heaviness of the metal bands that you are familiar with, but the guitar playing and vocals are absolutely jaw dropping
Now, react to the big teutonic 4: Kreator, Sodom, Destruciton and Tankard
This is one of my favorite Cliff Bass lines. In the first "Searchinnnn" there's a distorted bass fill, and later he started improvising with the Wah and other effects and it's so good.
Among the Living, great album
How is this the first time I'm watching your video? Omg. You had me at your Anthrax reaction!
Megadeth - Tornado of Souls best guitar solo.
I'm not a parent but watching you react to METAL must be like the same feeling a parent gets when they first see their child walk. Keep it up there is SO MUCH more to discover. Ask your self; who was the first to discover Metal. That's a journey within its self.

Testament - disciples of the watch
Overkill - head first
Toxic waltz, practice what you preach and elimination would be the popular suggestions, but I think you'll like these songs better. They're in chronology as well :)
The German big 4 are tankard, destruction, kreator and Sodom.
@@tackle47 oh I'm not saying it doesn't just that the music has always been at the forefront of metal and lyrics for country
Nice avatar, dogg! The Cramps are legends.
I wanna be your dog still holds up today after 42 years
good suggestion by the patreons. not sure your ready for some of the crazier songs from slayer quite yet but we'll see, your enthusiasm for metal as a genre always surprises me as a life-long fan watching your reactions. love to see you jamming out!
The outro to South of heaven leads into the next song on the album, silent scream.
Hangar 18 next!!!
I remember being a little kid playing rust in peace for the first time and as soon as holy wars ended and heard H18 intro i was blown away!
metallica and megadeth solos are so good, please let them play thru.
I love "madhouse" by Anthrax. That one's pretty fun.
Nice of the Patreons to ease you into Slayer hahaha I think you're ready for whatever Slayer throws at you, honestly.
I'm so here for all this Anthrax love. I miss my "Not Man" on a skateboard t-shirt.
Should Listen To some German Teutonic Thrash - Destruction: Mad Butcher (1986 Version) its absolute beast. Very dark similar to Slayer.
Holy Wars is a trip, so many twists and turns, and each riff is better than the last, somehow
24:02 you're one of the most intelligent ''reactors'' ive seen on youtube!
so happy i discovered this channel! also pls do more metal ;)
Holy Wars: best thrash metal song ever
My fav thrash band is Slayer, but I kinda agree
Into the PIT OVER THE WALL BETTER THEN HOLY WARS
Ultimate Thrash is Slayer for me like for real can't headbang fast enough with them.
Megadeth is the only band that everybody are virtuosos. Rip Nick Mensa.
It's one of the best metal songs, yes, although there are many songs that are specifically better thrash metal. One of my favorites is T.D.S. by Vio-Lence (which is extremely unlistenable unless you are used to Sean Killian)
I love how you react to music. Makes me want to play you all my favourite bands, just to see you go off on them. Absolutely charming. :)
I know this isn't really your style, but it would be cool seeing you react to hair metal. Van Halen and Motle Crue would be awesome.
Absolutely love your vids. Please don't ever stop!
Gotta give Anvil- Metal on Metal a listen too, this Canadian band influenced Metallica,Megadeth, slayer and Anthrax.
Your Patreons did not lead you astray. These are all excellent introductions to these bands. Great reaction, and a shout out to your supporters. Maybe I’ll sub … ???
