When it comes to windows 10/11 I prefer the UWP calculator. It just fits well with the design of them. However windows 7 is very nostalgic. Used to have a laptop with it.
That's why I always dual boot different versions of windows.

You mention KDE neon doesn't come with KCalc preinstalled and although this is it for the live environment, it gets added when the system is loaded to a drive.
5:02 It's the other way around. LTSC comes preinstalled with win32calc, while the Windows 7 calculator you installed is calc1.

How to make the calculator open in macOS with the calculator button (requires macOS 13 or 12):
1. Open Shortcuts
2. Click the plus button to make a new shortcut
3. Add the action “Open App”
4. Choose the App “Calculator”
5. Press the i icon on the right
6. Press “Add Keyboard Shortcut”
7. Press the calculator button
8. You’re done!
What about 11 and earlier?

We use windows server 2019 at school (teachers use windows 10 1809 (it does say LTSC)) and it has windows 7 calculator
KDE being KDE... Doesn't open calculator by default, but allows you to assign that button to anything else. I like it that way though

DYK: Win10 LTSC and Server 2016-2022 have UWP apps, but just settings.
I have Samsung Galaxy S20 FE and when i click the button the calculator will normally open it for me
I use a Lenovo keyboard as a daily driver and it does have a calculator key but in order to get the media keys working I need to install a driver

its VMWare, aka virtual computers. He uses the method used by hackintoshers to get macOS on VMWare. The reasoning for it being such an old version is unknown, however.

I actually got it for free in 2018 because someone was throwing it out. (it's got a Windows 7 logo on the Windows Key, so it's pretty old).

You can't you need to use windows 10 or 11 for the script to work
I'm supposed that it's find wear the capuletor are in every Window's and in meny Linux distro not matter how old on new the os are

Alot of my school computers have quick action buttons like Calculator or Search, I used to find slot of these in older keyboards, even my grandfather's 2003 computer keyboard! I wonder why keyboard manufacturers don't include them anymore, while they were kind of useless, it let enough less time and was easier instead of clicking Start, searching for Calculator, and click it..

VMware. The Calculator button doesn't work in VirtualBox.

Probably because the process would be the same like on Server 2016 and 2019. He also forgot Windows Server 2012 and 2012 R2, but they are just Windows 8 and 8.1 cores.

Esa es una de las razones por las que no me gusta Ubuntu, no tienes la facilidad de utilizar herramientas externas (atajos) como si lo tienes con Windows y aunque tengas varias herramientas instaladas no puedes utilizarlas hasta que lo haces manualmente.

You can't uninstall the Win32 Calculator that comes with Windows 10 LTSC.
