Yeah Yeah don't fart at cops hmm new slogan pitch? Can't say I ever heard of that one... Are you seriously telling us all cops are evil? some cops are evil? few cops are evil? Because you farted at them or you really have no definitive proof to back your claim? The problem is you... your letting a narrative spun by media control your life to the extent your suddenly opressed.... You don't get to fire one warning shot at someone, much less police, and not expect to not be called out on your bluff. Take a gun course and you'll understand just flashing your gun is enough to get yourself killed. You might not have intentions of using it, but the person you're flashing it at don't know that and could very well call you on your bluff

      @@paigewashington6018 if cops are at your door knocking and announcing themselves they have a search warrant and you don't answer, they will bust your door down. If you decide that you want to fire a warning shot at them cause you either didn't hear them or otherwise you will get fired upon.
      At this point, we have a witness that was OUTSIDE saying he heard them announce. You have the shooter inside who said they knocked. Then you have the officers saying they knocked and announced. You're not allowed to shoot at cops when they're executing a legal search warrant.

    • @danieltakawi9919
      @danieltakawi9919 4 роки тому +3

      @@HR-766 Do you even know the purpose of a no knock warrant? Just like this officer said, so that the suspects inside can't formulate a plan to attack, or more importantly to destroy evidence (often drugs). If officers came and kindly knocked until someone opened the door, the suspects inside could easily flush down the evidence, burn it, or sneak it out to another location, then what will you do? Now that no-knock warrants are banned in certain states, how will officers catch the evidence (drugs, weapons, papers, phones, etc)?
      Assuming they didn't go announced, what did they still do wrong that constitutes them being murders? They went in, they got shot at, so they shot back, and unfortunately killed someone in the process. It's not the outcome anyone was hoping for, and of course its a very nuanced case, but as far as I could tell, the police did nothing wrong. I agree with the officer that they should've went in with max one knock.
      I'm not saying the LE system isn't corrupt or cannot be taken advantage of, or that there are HORRIBLE cops who are rapists and murders, I'm just saying that I don't think that this is one of those cases.

    • @HR-766
      @HR-766 4 роки тому +4

      @@danieltakawi9919 Right right... but in most no knock warrant the police still identify themselves before breaking in. and if someone comes in your house unannounced does that not justify being able to shoot them if you have legally owned gun? So moral of the story is don't shoot at intruders coming inside your home because they might be undercover cops right?

    • @danieltakawi9919
      @danieltakawi9919 4 роки тому +1

      @@HR-766 That's true. I personally haven't looked into the court documents and witness statements so I'll take your word for it that they didn't knock. Like I said, I think they should've knocked only once, then went in announcing themselves kind of like what you see in the movies.
      No of course you should shoot in any self defense situation. My point is that no knock warrants are not that bad and that neither party did anything wrong in that situation. The Boyfriend heard someone intrude into the house, so he shot. The police were shot at, so they shot back. Both were correct and justified in their decision (apart from maybe the amount of rounds shot).
      Like the officer said, the mistake they made was waiting too long and not announcing themselves (like you said). But they're not one of the racist murderers hunting down non-white people.

    Wow! I can't believe his message to Brenna Taylor's mom is "no police reform will bring her back" What a jackass! No sh*t Sherlock, yeah police reform won't bring Breonna back but it may begin to help with preventing this type of police brutality from happenning again to someone else.

    This man’s saving grace is that he nor his colleagues had their body worn cameras turned on. As a result, he can form any narrative he wants and no one can dispute it, not even direct witnesses or the victims themselves.

    Jesus Christ saves from sin.
    Romans 3: 23
    For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
    Hebrews 9: 27
    And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
    Isaiah 64: 6
    But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.
    Revelation 21: 8
    But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
    Romans 5: 8
    But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
    John 3: 16
    For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
    John 14: 6
    Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
    Romans 10: 9-10.
    That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
    For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
    Jesus said John 5: 24
    Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
    1John 5: 10-13
    He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.
    And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
    He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
    These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
    Ephesians 2: 8-9
    For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
    Not of works, lest any man should boast.
    Romans 8: 1
    There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
    1 Corinthians 15: 3-4
    For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
    And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
    2 Corinthians 5: 21
    For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

    • @earlyriser03

      @@andyb2028 the big one for me was that he made the false claim that George Floyd died of an overdose instead of the actual cause: cardiac arrest due to the compression on his neck by the murdering former officer, Derek Chauvin. It’s peak dog whistle because it misleads less educated viewers about the facts while attempting to reinforce stereotypes about people of color to the bigots and racists watching. I’m glad Strahan kind of pushed back on that but it wasn’t enough. This was largely just a fluff piece for some victim blaming white supremacist cop to tell his side. And boy did we get an earful.

    I have trouble with this because as someone who has trained to be prepared when someone bursts through that door, that little “10 second bust through” he talks about will have you bust into me jumping out of bed grabbing the first thing I see. So now I have a “weapon.” Im looking to protect me and my own. I have no idea who was at the door but at this point I’m half asleep, what I know is that they’re already in my house, and I have a weapon. I have a hard time believing I wouldnt also be shot in that situation. I find it hard to believe that THIS is a standard procedure. Especially for people who are trained to jump out of bed. It doesn’t sound like Breonna or her boyfriend did anything I wouldn’t have done. If indeed Mattingly’s story is true, why did Breonna’s boyfriend not shoot to kill? Nothing that man said ads up. And he keeps saying bang bang liked they banged 15-20 times. He himself said that that there were only 6 knocks total.

      With the first knock or two, I’m starting to open my eyes and MAYBE coming to my senses. With that second group of knocks, I may come to my senses but I’m not thinking someone is being friendly. I’m thinking someone is trying to break in. With that third group, I’m alert and jumping out of bed grabbing the first thing I see.

    First of all they had no business being at her house. There was no proof that they knocked before entering her house and that's why Kenneth Walker charges were dropped. They should've got their information straight before getting a search warrant. No one is perfect but that was a very careless mistake they made. Also that message to her mom was pathetic he took no accountability at all.
