Is there any bait which will work, which is available in stores (EU)? I have a pine marten on my roof and need to catch it. Is a fresh trout from market going to work? Generally eggs are recommended in Poland but I didn't have any luck with those.

Oily fish like trout, salmon, sardines, canned herring, etc will probably be good.
