I am a left handed golfer who is right hand dominant and left leg dominant. I am a 1 handicap and have been as low as +1. But I’ve NEVER felt comfortable loading and transitioning (or unloading). Recently I started trying to be as natural, instinctive, and athletic as possible. I started pushing my right upper body into my lower left and the takeaway “felt natural”. Then I noticed how much more lateral movement I was creating thru the ball which also felt powerful and natural. I’ve always tried to push up and away with my lead, non dominant leg (vertical force). Feeling horizontal made me search dominant leg and I found your video. It’s brilliant and confirms my instincts. Thank you so much sir. This is years of frustration cleared up and explained in detail.
This makes sense to me on a very basic level as far distance and timing. His mass has shifted so far to the right that he does not have the proper timing and is late. By you having him put less pressure on the rear side the mass does not move back that much to the trail side and he times his vertical and rotational earlier for better energy transfer into the club at the correct time. It is no wonder that so many of us put so much energy into the swing and never deliver it at the right time to the ball. No wonder so many of us feel that we are working too hard for the results we get and think we can be doing better things with our time. This Swing Catalyst may keep more people in the game of golf now that you can see things the eye cannot. This is great technology. Thank you Dr. Lynn for what you do with this tool.
really insightful stuff Dr Lynn. Who do you work with in the UK on this stuff? I’d like to visit someone to go in depth like this but can’t find an obvious route.
Dont know how to push off using vertical force since max ap force has applied, by now pressure should be at the midfoot or at the heel?Should we push off right after we move the pressure point back to the ball of the feet first.Confusing
I deleted my previous post because it wasn't a fuller backswing for 'before' and 'after'. The frame images just showed a more centralised upper body pivot for 'after'. So whatever torque exercises you did seemed to work very well . But the 15 yards extra distance could have been a difference in launch angle or smash factor. Did the clubface impact the ball with similar launch angle and smash factors for 'before' and 'after'?
similar to the other commenter, for the increase in carry distance was this due to an increase in swing/ball speed or was it launch conditions with same ball speed. I saw in the video the before swing speed was 115 (right at current tour average) and 300 yard carry is possible depending on launch/spin even at 115.

Serious golf clap! Nice work, Doc. Helping his rhythm by getting his forces matched up better…literally a game changer.
Great video Scott! I love to work with the motion plates
Awesome Stuff Dr. Lynn
This was a good one

Front post golfer:should the ap and vertical force happens almost at the same time?

Is his stance still too wide for a center post golfer?
So no matter what, most golfers are getting the majority of pressure to trail side early.
