Aaaaaah!!!! This video is so stunning and the emotions are overwhelming. It's always like that when you vid him. He is like the most underrated character ever, so I am glad that you just keep making tributes like this examining his struggles between light and dark. If any writer needs lessons on how to write a great character arc, take a look at Wesley's journey, and you got it! The way that you interweave those two quotes from him about love/connection being the purpose of living...that is just so beautiful and heartbreaking. and the idea of "we grow and change" followed by him being so sure he was not "evil" to him genuinely unsure of who he really is. That is so powerful! Aaww and just everyone making him feel like a piece of shit, but he keeps trying. Loved the way you transitioned from those scenes of them saying he is a bad watcher to him saying he wants to help. Gah. Oh god and then starting with "the road to hell" because he did always have good intentions, and I'm sorry but even if the result is hellish, we can never know that. Intentions MATTER. Wesley always *always* tries to do the right thing, and it is usually the hard thing, and he usually ends up suffering for it. Oh and I freaking love his Pylea moments. It shows that he is a smart leader and again, he is willing to make the hard choices. "All you have is your fire" /fans self/ lol "you really don't care anymore do you?" Oh fuck off. Ugh I hate that moment. Yeah, he only SAVED Angel, something you were clearly unable to do, and he didn't tell you about Connor FOR ANGEL. To keep Connor safe. That is what Angel would want no matter what. But sure, he doesn't care. Ugh. Oh I loved your use of the book for "tame your demons" aaww and the "I've kidnapped him before" moment when he touches Connor's face. Wes really loved him. Again why he kidnapped him the first time. lol OMG "I think I was trying to bring it back to life" with Lilah's contract burning!!! You are freaking brilliant!!! Also OUCH!! Those are some powerful feels! This was gorgeous!! I love it and I love you!!! Brilliant job!!
