Even 6 years after seeing this for the first time I still can‘t think or listen to this Song without also thinking if this edit. It has me in a Chokehold. Currently rewatching so I just had to come back yet again. Hope it‘ll be around so I can still watch it by the time I‘m 50.

I don't even consider myself a Destiel shipper but this is too damn beautiful. You're right, I don't even know if it was intentional, but the writers created the most amazing love with these characters. Whether romantic or not, but honestly, they are the only ship where it doesn't matter, because their love is legendary, powerful and really, genius, no matter what kind of love it is and they're the only ship I know where you don't need them kissing or being in bed, in fact, it would even ruin it all. This is about so much more, it's not about a couple, it's just purely about the energy of unconditional love between people. The whole show is about it - the brotherly love that Sam and Dean have, the love that Sam and Cas have as friends, the love that they had with Charlie and Dean with Lisa or Mary and Jon, Jody and her girls, etc. The show's main focus I don't think is monsters and hunting, but family, and the strong bonds between people, and that's what we are on this goddamn Earth for.
This song fits them so perfectly. "the beauty of a broken angel" oh my godddd. And " show me how to fight, I'll show how to win" damn I'm crying so hard😭
here's my thoughts on destiel: people are saying "oh make it cannon!" but I think having a makeout or sex scene between them or having them be an official couple would ruin the beauty of their relationship. of course I ship it, but look at them! its ALREADY cannon.

Exactly! This is what makes the relationship great. I mean, yeah. It would be nice in theory to have them as a couple, but it's just so fucking complicated and beautiful and I can't explain it.
I have never personally seen them as a couple, I love their friendship though, they have a strong bond and I know a lot of people are probably laughing reading this but I just see them as an best friends who would do anything for each other. Cas is Dean's protector, I have not fully caught up it's personally just how I see it.

I love how Cas was there for Dean an how he saw the the real him and didn’t give up on him. Cas saw the good in dean and he wanted dean to see that for him self I swear o love these two I wish I had people like them who could see how u truly felt and that were there for me
