- Daryl shows off the paint and detail work Joe spent long long hours perfecting. He also teases the engine is just around the corner. What fowl things will the heart of the Toretto Charger swallow up?!

That black paint is beautiful, my God, that shine. I can only imagine the man-hours to get paint that good. Bravo! Now we need to see this thing race a supra through L.A. 😉 just stay away from those railroad crossings lol that paint's too nice.
I came to comment the same, it looks like a freaking mirror, they're building it to crazy high standards on every aspect.
Thank you so much! We are less worried about the train tracks and more worried about keeping our eyes on the road instead of making eyes at Paul Walker and missing the truck coming right for us.
Hell yes!!! I can’t wait for the Charger and Supra to sit side by side! Awesome, You guys did amazing
Thank you! We can't wait to see the two icons line-up and to hear the two of them roar! It's going to be epic.
Superlative work as always gentlemen. My hats off to your body men you obviously put their heart and soul into getting the body absolutely straight and true. And yes, the DRIP RAIL MOLDINGS look great!
Thank you again for your support and kind words as usual. Joe, Jorge, and Isidro work really hard to get the body and vehicles perfect for paint. Doing everything in their power to get everything all lined up and ready for the final install of...the drip rail moldings.
The Charger looks amazing. Your team are true artists. Can't wait to see the 572 in it 🤤. The Charger and Supra are going to look awesome together on the line 😁👌
Thank you so much for your support! We cannot wait to see the buzzard catcher reaching to the heavens sucking in the atmosphere surrounding the Charger! All this just before the 2J comes to a stop alongside it on the streets of San Pedro.
looks awesome, tons of hard work, total respect for your body/paint guy who does it all!!
Joe is a craftsman for sure. The hours and days spent in lining up the panels and getting everything perfect to be able to lay down that black paint and have it look so great! Thank you for noticing the passion he has for these projects.
Wow... I'm short of words to describe just how good this thing looks... Amazing job guys, it's a real pleasure to follow your projects!
Thank you so much for your support!
I love this build! Outstanding work! I’m always excited to see an update from your channel
Thank you so much for your support! We try to give you guys more of what you want but also enjoy sharing our other shop builds. Those are important to us also and enjoy sharing what we love.
@@JustDriven I’m living vicariously through your videos. I’ve always dreamed of doing some of the exact builds you are making a reality!
Watching Joe work his craft in slow motion = zen. Stunning progress on the Charger men.
Awesome we appreciate the support and glad you enjoyed seeing Joe share his craft with everyone. He really does great work and we would be lost without him!
The building-office front in your shop is so cool! Very mid-century-does-1970s, one of my fave looks. The one in my shop was left basic by the previous owner but you've inspired me to do something really cool with it!!!
How cool! You come to our channel to see great vehicle builds and leave with inspiration for your shop office!
Looks fantastic, I'm glad you decided to go with the Enderle Buzzard Catcher. Now it will look true to the film. Nice work guys. Now if you want it to hook.. get some Mickey Thompson E/T Street R's. 295/65r15.
Thank you very much!
You guys just do fantastic work. As a lifelong Toyota fanatic, and a TT SC300 owner, I can’t wait to see what you do with the RCF!
Thank you and we can't wait to show the RCF off. It looks so cool in person with this yellow color!
I'll take one with the 392 EFI upgraded resto-mod lol, but the mirror finish on the car is Amazing. Fantastic work guys!
Thank you for your support! This thing is going to look nuts with that buzzard catcher sucking in the entire atmosphere around it!
You can tell alot of hours went into prep and paint 🔥
Joe can attest to the long days and nights spent on the body and paint prep. It's always satisfying to see how smooth the black is once it's completed and it looks as good as this does!
Black is a hard color to lay down on any car, but these old B-Bodies make it an exceptionally difficult task. The body guy you had do the work on this car was very talented and the finish looks show quality. I also appreciate how you didn’t fill in the rear valance corner seams. Many people fill them in order to be able to get away with shoty work. This gentleman obviously took the time to get the fitment right and it looks amazing.
That very talented body guy is Joe. He does pretty awesome work and we are lucky to have him! Thank you for noticing and recognizing his exceptional skills!
@@JustDriven I grew up in a body shop and the first things I gravitate to on any car is the bodywork. Joe is a very talented man and I hope he passes his skills down to someone so future generations can appreciate his skill.
We've captured video of one of his kiddos helping him in the shop. He most certainly will share his craftsman ship with the future.
Awesome paint job. The color sanding and polishing made it really pop! This will definitely look better than the movie car, that's for sure!
We hope not TOO much better!
Direct point on point Daryl!!!!! Great job man!!!!!!
Thank you!
Iv been following this build from your first video and I can honestly say your are doing the best job possible !
That charger from fast 1 is what got me into American muscle cars.
Thank you so much for what you are doing and keep up the hard work.
Think I might cry when I see it sit next to the supra !
Thank you so much for your continued support! And your patience. We suspect there won't be many dry eyes when those two line up side-by-side.
AWESOME! Only mistake was made is putting the charger emblems back on the sail panels as they were removed and filled in the movie
Yah, Daryl spotted this after they were already on the car. But he mentions in the video they'll be removed.
Awesome! I was 9yrs old when this movie come out, and my dad was born in the late 50s so I was into older muscles cars from an early age, and to be honest even tho I'm super excited about the supra build... in the movie to me the charger was the top dog bad ass car.
Thank you for sharing! You're right. There is something about a black muscle car that just says, badass.
That body came out perfect!
Thank you so much!
There are no words 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
Other than perhaps drip rail mouldings 😂
They only real words after seeing something so badass is truly drip. Also, rail. And moldings of course.
@@JustDriven i expected no less 😂
Wow that thing looks amazing those paint and body are true artists love it will look amazing when the motor goes in can't wait for the next update keep them coming😁👍
Thank you! Joe, Jorge, and Isidro work really hard to get everything to look perfect. Thank you for your support!
That paintwork is second to none
Thank you so much! We will let Joe know!
Wow just WOW charger looks awesome keep them coming can't wait to see the finished car 👍
Thank you very much! We will have an update soon on this BEAST.
I just love a good old school charger... The toretto charger is my favorite one. Great work guys!
Thank you so much for your support! The Toretto charger is one of the greats. Have you seen our Bullitt Charger? We are finishing the body on that build so it can be painted then have the vinyl top installed.
@@JustDriven of course! I watch all the vids that come out 😁
Hell yah!
That looks spot on the shine really pops
Thank you! If you look at it in person it's like you could fall into the paint. Please don't though. Joe doesn't want to have to do anymore bodywork on this thing!
The changes that are being made are solid. It's looking better than the movie versions already. I'm building the Fast & Furious 1970 Dodge Charger model car. This is a great template to go by!
Oh sweet! Follow us on IG and share your model build. We would love to see it. Thank you for your support.
@@JustDriven Will do. For sure!
Just beautiful 👍
Thank you so much!
This is utterly amazing. That's it.
Thank you so much!
Great work guys!!
Thank you!
One of my favorite channels ❤
Thank you so much for your support!
I sure the upper drip rail started out on the Charger and at some point during the filming it got torn off and they went with the no drip rail look.
We suspect the upper rail was either causing too much glare on camera. But maybe one of the Chargers used didn't have the moldings at the time and the others did?
Got that black as shiny as it looked in the movie mirror finish
Joe nailed it!
I'm surprised you never mentioned the drip rail moldings....🤣🤣🤣🤣
Car looks beautiful!!!!!
We told Daryl he should bring up the moldings in the video but he kept avoiding the subject. Some of us suspect it's because he didn't even notice them after watching that scene frame by frame like a forensic video analyst.
@@JustDriven 🤣🤣🤣🤣
That paintjob is high end😎😎😎
Thank you so much! Joe does amazing work! He's also pretty used to perfecting black since so many of our builds are black.
@@JustDriven big props to anybody involved in your vompany🤜
Thank you again.
The paint looks amazing but, your going to take the Charger emblem off and fill the holes and go though all the work? I think it looks fine.
It may look fine, but in replicating the movie car we need to remove the emblems. It was an honest mistake and we will just have to rectify it if we want it to look the part. We wish we could just leave it!
My two dream cars..
About to be side-by-side on the same iconic street they once lined up on. Brings chills.
Awesome content
Make sure you have notifications turned on so we can have the opportunity to wow you with more of our content...please?
Immaculate.
Thank you for saying!
Hell to the yes!
Thank you so much!
It would be nice to see that car in real life, if I can come to america for my birthday next year !!! 🤩
Do it! We are in Southern California. We suspect for some time it'll be housed here with us making trips to shows.
@@JustDriven i will do my best, my goal is to visit all this amazing "movie car" shops that are located in California :)
Beautiful work as usually. Dying to see it with the motor in. ……when are we going for a ride?
Thank you so much! We can't wait to have the motor in and hear this thing roar to life!
Tbh the current wheels look better than the movie wheels 😂
Haha. Yah but you know...Gotta get the right wheels or we won't hear the end of it!
Badass
The most badass. Wait till that engine is towering out of the front end of it!
Gotta run 9s in real life it’s got the power just needs the tire and ram air does work. Have it run on E85 or methanol injection.
It’s gotta be 1000hp
We are hoping we can find traction somewhere on this thing. The power will be there though.
The only thing dripping is that PAINT!! It looks like ink poured from a bottle, absolute perfection!🤌🤌
We will let Joe know you said so! He spent a long time working on the body to make sure his paint wasn't in vein. Lots of love and hard work went into this thing!
What is the colour code you used...is it maybe the black from the nowadays dodge's ?
Pitchblack ?
We used a color called 'Midnight Black.'
Personally , I wouldn’t have added a roll cage to either Supra or charger
That's the challenge with trying to replicate vehicles already seen on film. People have an image of what they look like. We do our best to recreate them, even if we don't love some of the choices. We would prefer if the Supra roll bar wasn't yellow too! But it's all part of its character right?
Hi whats going on with the 959 on the lift,?
We teased this 959 in a past video. ua-cam.com/video/srT6yzfwJVs/v-deo.html We think you'll like the craziness we are going to throw at it.
Is this car gonna be for sale?
No plans to sell either Fast car at this time.
Dom is that you ?
Nah that's just Daryl. He also cares greatly about family though. But to our knowledge Daryl has never beat someone to inches of their life. We will have to confirm with Alex though.
@@JustDriven ahh makes more sense !
when you race the Supra theirs no way either of you are gonna hook, Y'all are gonna be peddling those cars like god damn bicycles all the way to the train tracks
We will just have to edit it to make it look like they were going fast like they did in the movie!
Drip rail
Did you count how many times he said it?
Badass
Thank you so much!
