Compliments to the editor for dealing with 8 mics in a loud restaurant. That must have been tedious , sounded acceptable! (Which is a win under those conditions)
Yo I like that they all lit LoL Feels more just like an authentic/organic convo about cool tech shit late night with friends. We love the culture of The Verge 🙌🏽🔥
Happy to see that meaningful action is being taken based on Becca's feedback. She would be incredibly happy to see this change. In-person group events rules. ✨✨You are creating memories right here.
this is a bananas video i feel like that meme of “what it’s like to listen to a podcast” where it’s one real guy sitting next to three people laughing on a poster
I was in vegas for the holidays before CES, and it's nice to see people in those places. Lovely video as well, nice to see you guys in a casual setting. I'm subscribed to the website and I think what you do is important. One of my life dreams is to see CES in person one day!
Beautiful location, always rolling the dice doing it in a live environment (alcohol is insane but you’re professionals!) but what excellent energy!!! Capturing this in this way feels special and intimate
How much frickin food did you guys eat? When the pizza showed up I thought that was the main meal. But then more appetizers showed up. And then the actual meals came after that. That Comcast money must be good. I’d hate to be the one who has to submit the expense report.
8:10 this is just sad. Why do gamers even bother with other people if they just want to sit on the couch and ignore their family. Just stay single at that point 😂
Sorry team, but I have different feelings to this format. Having dinner with colleagues should be about informal coming together, without cameras and microphones. It should not be close to anything work related. I find it hard to believe that everybody in the team agreed to this, even though it’s only 20 minutes long.

Round tables work for The Verge! More of these
Agreed!
Love the format, please do again! A recurring format/show could be a great Verge subscription perk ;)
It harken's back to the first Vergecasts where they were live on UA-cam from a conference room drinking beers. Josh, Nilay, and Joanna.
Not sure if they live in the same area so maybe can only do this in big events.
Great video! This is the perfect way to debrief after a large event like CES. Everyone just felt naturally chill!
YOU ALL CRUSHED IT
Great video Verge team 🤟💪
Nilay is fast becoming the CES grandpa, that takes his children to their tech Disneyland and let them run wild all around
It's my first time seeing Jennifer after often hearing her on podcasts

Love this format, more in the future please!

Love how this roundtable dives into the weird and wonderful side of CES!
This is such a great video. So exciting to see how you bounce off each other - like an uber-Vergecast (David + Nilay rules!)
Like the vibe

which is to say it rules
The highlight for me of this video is Jennifer talking about the wildlife camera. I think that's pretty cool.

This is a super fun format! Would love to see more of it
Great teamwork & coverage!
Loved this format! A nice chat with friends with different interests. 😊
I would love to go to ces one day, would love to be part of a group like this.
MORE OF THIS. And congrats to Andreu Marino for the audio
Audio challenges aside, this is a good format.
Good of Nilay to mosey over from the big boys‘ table to drop a brain fart.
I love the verge team!
7:40 their faces when theyre talking bout handheld gaming pcs hahaha
I loved this, the words got so long towards the end haha
This video has everything needed to summarize CES 25 lol
Those CES innovation awards are announced like in mid November of the prior year by the way.
Niley lurking in the background is killing me.
stop this is so cute!

Happy News Year Par ❤🎉❤❤
This was a great idea for a video! I would love more behind the scenes stuff on this channel like MKBHD's Studio channel.
home karaoke speakers with mics and good speakers is a must in asian households
I legitimately thought Sean and Chris were the same person until this video.
Didnt seem crazy eventful this year as a person who wasnt there but idk seemed kinda dull
Do. More. Of. This.
Mecha comet was an intresting product.
Nilay definitely drunk, trying hard not to slur his words. Almost made it.
If you want more competition and razmatazz on these CESs, bring back Huawei to the international market
There is a Nilay cameo
7:27 That's what she said
where are the party people at ces, surely the nerds be partaying hard in the hotels? lol
the audio is SO amazing i skipped it
One of the most boring CES ever. Sorry for the journalists and tech enthusiasts.
How many vibe staffers are being forced to comment here? Most of em.
8:10 this is just sad. Why do gamers even bother with other people if they just want to sit on the couch and ignore their family. Just stay single at that point 😂
Have you watched kids shows these days? You’re going to need some diversion to get through that as an adult.

Nah, it so clear it’s what they love to do and they wanted do this format.
