You probably should have added a few tiers, like S+, S, S- and maybe A+, A, A-, since you seemed to be doing that with the character's placement within the tier, anyway. You also had several characters that you wanted to put between tiers, which is a sure sign you should have added a few tiers. Maybe next time!

From hardcore meta she is rated higher than Noa because Goz has no armor, and you don't need more than 2 FF characters in most cases. His tier list is very casual in the most part and when he didnt look what unit do then he gave bad ranking from the get-go.
I had to watch it 3 times to understand it, since I started yesterday. After getting only seldom and mid characters, and realizing I shouldn't bind account yet. You made me realized that I must pull on this banner until getting something good . I hope to bring some updates soon.
@@luv.fluffychan yeah, my account is almost 85, most of my mains are T8, and around level 80, 5 characters have their weapon and most of them have the relationship around 15-20 with the unique artifacts unlocked. On the bad side, I could never clear above hardcore yet, as my skills are around 1-2. And pvp around 300-500

Great video. Without using a tier list myself, a lot of this list actually matches up with my character usage for PVE and PVP. Essentially use atk/crit rate/crit damage/cost reduction buff chars, with your best dps type char(depending on enemy), and a tank.
This is a great tier list, we just need a S tier in between S+ and A to separate the good units from the great units, especially those who fulfill the same niche for example in Piercing AOE there should be a must build compared to the others. Basically a top tier unit based on attack type AOE/ST and those with other utilities like def down or buffs. Still in 1 hour 24 minutes you summarized it better than I could. :)
Agreed, adding S tier would be useful for begginners, however what's good about this tier list is it makes you realize almost every character can be useful in this game, i would say even A LOT of them in B and C tier can.
@@Mazeta98 Yeah, this is how balanced the game is and how scared they are at adding another Iori, Iroha, S hoshino or Mika tier. They pretty much dominated their competition by a mile. Especially Mika who was made to overtake Iori but went way too far.

Every time Airi is useful the devs buff the bosses she is useful against. Her unique movement speed debuff was legitimately useful to manipulate Binah, for instance, or for making Kuro more susceptible to self-inflicted damage. Things were changed so she no longer was effective.
Minori was one of my first units and completely carried me through so many missions. Her huge power and huge area she damaged would allow me to wipe out complete waves which would save me just enough time to finish mission battles. This allowed me you finish missions that I was 20-30 levels under the recommendation which helped skyrocket my cafe rank to max early on which in turn allowed me to level up much faster for a while. While she might not be the best for long term stuff, she greatly helped me level up with extreme speed.
while this is mostly a true tierlist this game is so easy and theres very little reason to seek out the constantly most strong characters unless your goal is to acquire the majority or all students in the first place.
Hina. I think shes should be higher, cos even if shes on standby without using her EX skill she deals a lot of damage more damage than a maxed out Serika.
I'm a beginner and i totally amazed by this all explanations or maybe you can call it guide. This video is very worth it to watch if you have a problem with set unit
What that tier list really needs is support for multiple choice. "One of these three characters" is A tier and the ones you don't choose go down to B, but the tier list doesn't support that kind of thing, making it hard to really represent the proper priorities with it.
26:00 iori. Bitch wont die in the hoshino hard mission. She just move all over the place, does brutal damage even against red students and spawn more "distractions" when at less than 5 HP bars. Will say spawning Utaha's torret on her head mess with her AI so much she will just run to the middle of my group, so they focus on them but also dont attack the grunts, so the spawning ones on top will kill a full HP tank like its nothing, as is the first enemythey all see
Personally, going by the way you judge them properly based on their usage, niche and even taking into account for their extra skills, behaviors and weaknesses, you should've put the Tiers that also include the "A-" and "A+" so that you can properly assign their rankings. 'B+' and 'B-' is a bit too much, because they fall into categories of the usual 'A-' here, but you could also just raise the Tier as "SS" and "SSS" in what most tier list are like but other than that, thank you for the video. Very informational.
One of Hanako's other annoying traits is that because it's HoT in an area, unless you're fighting a boss or a particularly strong wave of enemies there's a good chance you will only see 1-2 ticks of heal before students just move out of range. While the total healing provided can be really good, its cost plus the likelihood of not getting most of the benefit makes her niche at best for healer. I still really like Iori though it took a little while to comprehend that the small fan area for her skill was for each shot. Sumire's got a similar mechanic on her skill if you're looking for the same basic behavior but with a tankier character. And Iori is one of the few characters I can think of off top of head that Sakura Ayane voices that isn't on the mature side like Aegir from Azur Lane or Yae Sakura from Genshin.
Find the list mostly agreeable but I struggle to agree that Junko and Shiroko should be in B tier if Serika / Pina / Eimie / a lot of others made it into A. They more than compete with the other red / yellow options in A tier and imo should be either in there competing or a lot of the other chaff in A shouldn't have made it there.
hello, i'm new to the game, should i pull for tracksuit yuuka for shiro kuro? i'm considering to not pull her, because s. shizuko also can do repositioning, and because my pyro is currently 20k. or does she actually do more than just repositioning, so i really must pull her?
I noticed you upgraded the equipment for the special students. I thought that was generally a waste and that you only upgrade either their shoes/first slot or the 3rd slot (for healing or crit). Is there a reason to upgrade the 2nd slot which usually HP?
Specials will give small percent of their atk and hp stat to the strikers. Only bother with upping 2nd slot if u are building for insane/torment raids. Tbh even for insane raids is not worth to up 2nd gear yet, better to spend on elephs which give more stats and utility to the special unit compared to just upping 2nd slot gear. But for specials there is no hard guideline to upgrade what gears. Its most efficient to upgrade only the gears that the unit is scaling on A few examples: ako's healing scales off healing stat so only upgrade gear 3 is enough. Maybe gear 2 if ur doing ins+ raid Utaha skills scale off atk and she is also dmg dealer, so upgrade only gear 1 for atk and gear 3 for crits Himari doesnt scale off anything so only up gears 1&2 for stats

There are few things I think is wrong about the tier list: - Moe is better than NY Serika by a long shot, heck I would put NY Serika at C tier because she just sucks - Hibiki get outshined by Minori for most of the case, and both cost the same at base(4 cost vs 4 cost with the option to do 2x more damage by spending 3 more cost)
Hanae Christmas after unique gear apparently is one of absolute top tier units in game and best healer on top. Buffs from unique gear could be most broken so far. Even if you dont use her EX and just use for passive/normal skill she is just absurdally OP. So seeing her in C surprises me. You dont put strongest healer in game in bottom. That being said before unique gear she is pretty weak .
Miku is basically just a more well rounded Kotama She heals in an aoe and increases atk while also increasing crit, unfortunately Kotama has a better passive and is less expensive If Miku costed 1 less she’d definitely be way higher Was happily surprised that Tsubaki was so high, i’ve been using her since i started and just thought that she was only as good as she was because i didn’t have any other tanks Though was kinda sad to see Mine so low since her animations look so cool
I don't think use "Mid" and "Strong" term is accurate. Each character is strong in their own contents and a must have character for certain boss might be trash for most of the game. You should list them based on how often they used.
Can I ask kotori cheerleader strong? I don't see her in any tier list. I've searched on google and youtube but still can't find her. I'm just a newbie and can I know if I should invest in her or reroll?
She's fine as an AoE dmg dealer for general content but other characters fill explosive aoe roll like Aru and Mutsuki so she doesnt have anything over other students atm. But if you like her you can pick up her banner but I wouldnt go too hard if you dont get her. Yuuka Track is coming out and that is a waaaaay better investment as she is a Mystic tank and great for general content/Goz raid because of mystic and ex skill
knowing this list might get flac. I wish I had this list starting out and saved me resources. especially the 1 stars that are secret 3 stars. I don't need a spread sheet. just an overview what role this unit will have on a team. I will be coming back hear when ever I get a new unit cause this list is so helpful.
Is Minori really that niche? Maybe I'm still new and casual, but I pulled for her when I just started and severely lacked explosive units. I find her super useful in bounty and mission clearing. Her EX can delete entire mob waves, even at the lowest 4 cost. She's often the one doing the most damage on my teams.
Airi is pretty amazing in her own way - Everyone has her - Doesn't require any investment AT ALL to do her job - Can be used to cheese ShiroKuro on insane and above
Hello. I just wanted to ask if it okay to invest to Nonomi,Yuuka,Tsubaki and Iori in early game to the end. Those waifus are I only have for now while waiting for Himari and D.hina.
late reply but, invest in all of them, they are really great in all mission. Especially Iori, Tsubaki and Yuuka. For Nonomi, she;s just a really great aoe chara.
I fully believe that Blue Archive has the same boon that Arknights has: The star system is mostly useless in terms of determining character strength. Mostly.
99% of the time, the 6 stars in AK are far superior. Just because you can clear a stage with lower tier characters doesn't mean they are as good as the high tier.
i have 2 compicated account.1st lack of dealer students but has very good support like himari, kanna and ako. 2nd lack of support student but has very good dealer like hanako (swimsuit) and kaho. pls help what should i choose between them.
Lol. some very stupid takes. you don't even know some meta units or skill of some units. Utaha is S+ tier in Drill for example and S tier in arena. Hina deals 600+% damage with every wave of her Ex. It's almost 2500% damage and she is farmable. if you are old player you could UE50 her already. she is one of the highest AOE dps in the game. you can do many event challenges 5 with her

you put way too many characters in A for me to take this list seriously. you should have had a D tier that way much more characters would appropriately be placed in B.

IMO Sakurako is underrated. She has focus fire similar to S.Izumi. Not the best for PvP but I use her a lot. Definitely deserve the A class.

I noticed you upgraded the equipment for the special students. I thought that was generally a waste and that you only upgrade either their shoes/first slot or the 3rd slot (for healing or crit). Is there a reason to upgrade the 2nd slot which usually HP?
I believe its because striker students will inherit a portion of stats from special students
Specials will give small percent of their atk and hp stat to the strikers. Only bother with upping 2nd slot if u are building for insane/torment raids. Tbh even for insane raids is not worth to up 2nd gear yet, better to spend on elephs which give more stats and utility to the special unit compared to just upping 2nd slot gear.
But for specials there is no hard guideline to upgrade what gears. Its most efficient to upgrade only the gears that the unit is scaling on
A few examples:
ako's healing scales off healing stat so only upgrade gear 3 is enough. Maybe gear 2 if ur doing ins+ raid
Utaha skills scale off atk and she is also dmg dealer, so upgrade only gear 1 for atk and gear 3 for crits
Himari doesnt scale off anything so only up gears 1&2 for stats

There are few things I think is wrong about the tier list:
- Moe is better than NY Serika by a long shot, heck I would put NY Serika at C tier because she just sucks
- Hibiki get outshined by Minori for most of the case, and both cost the same at base(4 cost vs 4 cost with the option to do 2x more damage by spending 3 more cost)

Hanae Christmas after unique gear apparently is one of absolute top tier units in game and best healer on top. Buffs from unique gear could be most broken so far.
Even if you dont use her EX and just use for passive/normal skill she is just absurdally OP. So seeing her in C surprises me.
You dont put strongest healer in game in bottom.
That being said before unique gear she is pretty weak .
Miku is basically just a more well rounded Kotama
She heals in an aoe and increases atk while also increasing crit, unfortunately Kotama has a better passive and is less expensive
If Miku costed 1 less she’d definitely be way higher
Was happily surprised that Tsubaki was so high, i’ve been using her since i started and just thought that she was only as good as she was because i didn’t have any other tanks
Though was kinda sad to see Mine so low since her animations look so cool

I don't think use "Mid" and "Strong" term is accurate. Each character is strong in their own contents and a must have character for certain boss might be trash for most of the game. You should list them based on how often they used.
Can I ask kotori cheerleader strong? I don't see her in any tier list. I've searched on google and youtube but still can't find her. I'm just a newbie and can I know if I should invest in her or reroll?
She's fine as an AoE dmg dealer for general content but other characters fill explosive aoe roll like Aru and Mutsuki so she doesnt have anything over other students atm. But if you like her you can pick up her banner but I wouldnt go too hard if you dont get her. Yuuka Track is coming out and that is a waaaaay better investment as she is a Mystic tank and great for general content/Goz raid because of mystic and ex skill
Naah Miyu has very good damage on bosses. Atleast B tier for sure

Is Minori really that niche? Maybe I'm still new and casual, but I pulled for her when I just started and severely lacked explosive units.
I find her super useful in bounty and mission clearing. Her EX can delete entire mob waves, even at the lowest 4 cost. She's often the one doing the most damage on my teams.
Airi is pretty amazing in her own way
- Everyone has her
- Doesn't require any investment AT ALL to do her job
- Can be used to cheese ShiroKuro on insane and above

I fully believe that Blue Archive has the same boon that Arknights has: The star system is mostly useless in terms of determining character strength. Mostly.
99% of the time, the 6 stars in AK are far superior. Just because you can clear a stage with lower tier characters doesn't mean they are as good as the high tier.

Lol. some very stupid takes. you don't even know some meta units or skill of some units. Utaha is S+ tier in Drill for example and S tier in arena. Hina deals 600+% damage with every wave of her Ex. It's almost 2500% damage and she is farmable. if you are old player you could UE50 her already. she is one of the highest AOE dps in the game. you can do many event challenges 5 with her
