You do not seem to know what bad animation is. Just because its stylized it does not mean its bad. And the art, world and detail of it is one of the most beautiful in anime.

The original artstyle is objectively the most beutiful piece of manga art ever produced. But Indeed I know what bad animation is, and that is the Made in abyss adaptation of the beautiful manga. The original artstyle and tone is essentially dead, exchanged for something detail wise flat and colourwise overconvoluted, it got killed by an incompetent studio
