i agree to the ranking except for cadance being in the last place sure she might have not defeated but she did protect canterlot from being invaded and also protected the crystal empire for many days by using her magic continuosly for 3 or more days with no sleep or food so maybe she could be pretty powerful as luna or celestia because even they defeated many villans with the elements not by themselves alone so yea
The fact that Sunny Starscout is above Cadence, should be a crime in my opinion. We all know that Cadence is not the strongest Alicorn in G4, but I know for a fact that she is way more powerful than Sunny and accomplished a lot more.

To be honest, I don't think Sunny is more powerful than cadence. In Three's a Crowd, Cadence is able to fight (with Twilight) a Giant monster, attacking it whereas Sunny only defended herself against Opaline and lost. Moreover, Cadence is able to Levitate a massive flower with Twilight whereas Sunny only levitates a few tomatoes in the series and a little snowball in starlight secret

i think your completely right with twilight because she even managed having celestias and lunas and cadence power on top of her own and she weren’t even able to get the control of her owen because she bacame an alicorn 4 days ago and she managed having the power of 3 princesses. Even though Cadence isn’t as good as some of them i would say she is on 5 place because she had to stay awake for so many days because of king sombra that wanted to get in to the her kingdom and i mean she even managed to fly with spike.
Cadence's power doesn't seem to be much in the way of advanced magic, because if that were the case she could've easily beaten Queen Chrysalis and stopped her from impersonating Shining Armor's bride, also her dependence on the Crystal Heart is not natural magic. I guess Sunny will need a lot more practice before she shows us some real power. All that magic that Opaline has and she still can't find a way to break Twilight's spell. Pinkie Pie definitely makes for a potentially powerful alicorn. What I love about Luna is her ability to take upon her Nightmare Moon form with full control. In the comic Friends Forever Issue 3, Celestia hides quite a lot of power that she could've easily used. If Nightmare Moon and Daybreaker were separate entities, would they be more powerful than their princess counterparts? I think Flurry Heart could've managed just fine with the Sunburst's Crystalling, which didn't seem to serve any real purpose.

Okay so making disharmony between all three pony tribes, well, this has been proven to be easily done, at least in twilight's time, take that episode where the three final villains did exactly that. But ti be threatening enough to cause twilight to create the three crystals and store all magic away And twilighr banishes her from equestria. Throughout make your mark and tell your tale Opaline is far less intimidating than the stories told and in actuality far more comical (do absolutely love her for this). Her ability to snatch cutie marks is interesting (ignoring continuiry errors and cutie marks being back on the ponies flanks like seriously how many times did posey have her cutie mark stolen 😂). She's ultimately beaten not by Sunny (who maybe because she doesn't have a mentor maybe if she did she'd be stronger and be able to become a true alicorn with physical wings and horn) but by a song. Controversial opinion I think starlight glimmer is more powerful than twilight, she also completed a star swirl spell and twilight couldn’t beat her in any fight they were ever in even tho she was alicorn and starlight was a unicorn 😂
Agreed. Although Twilight could also completed a ancient Star Swirl's spell, the time travel one seemed much for complicated!! And like u said, she fought against and alicorn!

I would have ranked cadence first souly based on design. I love cadence and even tho the writers totally ruined her strength she is canonically really strong think about it she used her magic for 3 days straight without a bream for R and R.

Opaline is interesting. Okay so making disharmony between all three pony tribes, well, this has been proven to be easily done, at least in twilight's time, take that episode where the three final villains did exactly that. But ti be threatening enough to cause twilight to create the three crystals and store all magic away
And twilighr banishes her from equestria.
Throughout make your mark and tell your tale Opaline is far less intimidating than the stories told and in actuality far more comical (do absolutely love her for this). Her ability to snatch cutie marks is interesting (ignoring continuiry errors and cutie marks being back on the ponies flanks like seriously how many times did posey have her cutie mark stolen 😂).
She's ultimately beaten not by Sunny (who maybe because she doesn't have a mentor maybe if she did she'd be stronger and be able to become a true alicorn with physical wings and horn) but by a song. Anyways love Opaline can probaby tell aha.
