Was time for Alex to hear this track!! What’s the next Queen song we gotta check out?! A studio cut, a live performance?! Let us know down below and upvote the ones you second!! 🔥🤟🏻😁
Have you reacted to Innuendo yet?
I would love to see the live performance of "You Take My Breath Away" at Hyde Park 1976...just Freddie and his piano. It’s beautiful
Andy & Alex Back Chat! from their Funk dance album! you won’t be able to stop moving!
It's Late - album track from 1977. It's a solid rocker, every member of the band shines in it. It deserves a reaction.
Killer Queen! Their first big hit in the U.S. Man, the memories back in the day....
Freddie just wanted to remind everyone who was the boss before he left us.
that's got to be one of the best vocal performances I've ever heard
You mean who “is” the boss!
Well said
Yeah, THE BOSS of every fricken band out there at the time!
Truth.
Although it has now become a bit of an urban legend, the song was not done in one take, but that in no way diminishes Mercury's accomplishment. It was the critical high note that he hit in one take.
I lived through the height of the AIDS epidemic and buried many friends. At this time in the late 80s/early 90s, there was no cocktail to stop the virus' progression, no way to relieve the suffering. It was a horrifically painful and agonizing death in slow motion. By this point in Mercury's stage of the disease, most people could barely get from their bed to the bathroom without collapsing from exhaustion. That he was able to be in the studio, let alone hit the notes he did, is nothing short of superhuman. He was and remains, the consummate showman. There will never be another like him.
All of the highest notes were done in one take.
Joe Tralongo that’s horrible! I’m very sorry you had to go through that and I’m sorry so many were affected:(
The sing wasnt but the belting bit was
Yea, that's right. "On with the show" line wasn't it.
Me too Joe. I lost many friends to this excruciating disease. I can never listen to this song with a dry eye. The extraordinary Freddie produced some of his most amazing, jaw dropping vocals within months of passing away. Incredibly moving.
Not the voice of a dying man! They all played as if it was their last time together, and it doesn't disappoint. Bittersweet lyrics give the finishing touch to an amazing song.
The Show Must Go On is like an emotional rollercoaster for me, same with Innuendo. It's so powerful, heartbreaking, defiant and honest. As soon as the intro starts my throat tightens with sadness and has done since 1991.
For Fred to be singing about his own mortality and internal heartbreak, makes it spine chillingly brave, tragic and devastating.
There will never be another Freddie and the world is a far sadder place without him. 💔 Vocally no one can touch him, not then, not now.👑
Totally agree none can ever come close to this legend x
"The Show Must Go On" is written by Brian. It's one hell of a statement on the last album released while he was alive, but not his words. "Innuendo" is written by Freddie. *That's* his statement about his ambivalence about dying.
I totally agree... all he wanted to do in his final months/weeks/days was to create as many vocals as he could manage. He was throwing back the vodkas on 'These are the Days of Our Lives' and 'I'm going slightly mad' according to Roger (who he had a special bond with) I remember the exact time and place where I was when I found out the news. I was 20... I was devastated. I listened to their final CD Innuendo for ages. I have done the same with Bowie... Blackstar is a true masterpiece. 2016 and 2020 can bloody disappear from calendars as far as I'm concerned!
Yes 🌷😪
Freddie's vocal performance was even more great considering that he was on his death bed. RIP Freddie Mercury.
you really need to learn the definition for the saying "on his deathbed"
@@roverwaters3875 To be honest he was, haven't you seen the photos of him af thd time.
@@neil4920 I'm with Rover, "on his deathbed", means in a bed dying, not singing, not laughing, not dancing,....dying, on the verge of dying.
I am not saying he wasn't in very bad shape, but you don't sing like that on your deathbed.
MrDeadstu... He DID with "Mother Love!" Died 3/4th way into the song he did! Bri had to finish the last verse 😩
MrDeadstu 💁🏾♀️ Freddie could very well could've been on his "deaths bed" when singing this and recovered long enough to live a few more months longer.
At any rate, Freddie started dying the moment his T levels dropped below 200. So he was slowly dyin' over the last 2 yrs he'd lived 😞.
I think you guys would love 'Who Wants To Live Forever' by Queen ❤️
Bec oh yes! One of my all time favourites particularly the live version at Wembley, outstanding!
@@patmcnair2784 I love that version too but the one in Budapest I like a bit more :-)
Definitely. The live version at Wembley.
Bec that song from Highlander is so sad but it’s beautiful and there’s a 1986 & Flash Gordon soundtrack 80. Actually the few songs they did for that movie we’re on the game album.
@@patmcnair2784 I love that one too, the one from the Friday show, and notice Deaky's bass.
Based on info from Wikipedia about this legendary song:
The song chronicles the effort of Freddie Mercury continuing to perform despite approaching the end of his life, although his diagnosis with HIV/AIDS had not yet been made public in spite of ongoing media speculation claiming that he was seriously ill. Mercury was so ill when the band recorded the song in 1990 that May had concerns as to whether he was physically capable of singing it. Recalling Mercury's performance, May states; "I said, 'Fred, I don't know if this is going to be possible to sing.' And he went, 'I'll fucking do it, darling' - vodka down - and went in and killed it, completely lacerated that vocal".
no "one takes" although
@@roverwaters3875 This was in one takes
@@aleksanderfinstad5785 especially this one it wasn't
@@aleksanderfinstad5785 The "one take" thing came from some confusion over a statement about Freddie having done one of the hardest lines in the song in one take. He didn't do the ENTIRE SONG in one take. He was barely able to stand up...
@@s1d299 is right here, here is the vocal line: 4:20
Freddie is immortal, an irreplaceable musical genius. Truly legendary!
Mother Love - with weeks to live we get one last gift. Freddie superhumanly, though not much more than a ghost by now, gives us a glimpse in to the past with hauntingly chilling vocals. Brings me to tears every time and I’m a big fat hairy 40-something biker.
that's a Hell of a song.....one of the finest masterpieces they ever created...and what makes it so Poignant, in so many ways ,is that Freddie was merely weeks from the end during the recording...all I can say is DAYYYYM. What an incredible loss to music and music lovers everywhere
Great song! Totally agree. I believe that Innuendo finished recording by November 1990 which means he'd finished recording it a year before he died, rather than weeks.
You guys need to check out “its late” from news of the world it’s epic!
One of my favorites!!!
Yes, one the best, most underrated Queen songs. Everyone in the band has some great moments on that song.
Yes! One of my faves!!
Andrew Mayled also one of the most under rated queen songs I think. One of my favourites.
It’s a brilliant song. One of my favourites
Your reaction to Queen - It's Late it's a must. You won't regret it.
Brings a tear to my hardened old eye every time. Just fucking brilliant, and that dive-bomb Brian does at 3.49 at the end of the first lead break sends chills down my spine. And that bass doodling at the start/intro; John Deacon remains one of the most underrated bassists of all time. Rock on Freddie, a legend in every sense. And to see the grin on Alex's face and the knowing looks on Andy's says it all...
Dave Thompson goose bumps every time and I’ve heard it sooooo many time’s, Queen were as good as it gets and this song is as good as it gets!
Brian May is my favorite guitarist with an astrophysics degree.
Weirdly, one of my friends is an astrophysicist, and also plays guitar. I think, however, that my friend is better with the stars, and Dr May is better with the guitar. (Don't tell my friend.)
How many do you know?😀
I Want It All- Queen obviously great song
Album Version
Suggestion: Freddie’s last video was a tribute to his fans. These are the days of our life.
^this.
These Are The Days Of Our Lives.
Yeah FREDDIE! Real nice to see you two listening and enjoying this FABULOUS song! Nice to know that the younger generation appreciate QUEEN! I've been a fan since they started! I'm 71 years old and LOVE listening to them!! I just
LOVE QUEEN!!!!
The weird thing thing was at the time Freddie was dying his voice was in the best shape of his life, hitting high notes left and right!
Reasons for that might be:
Freddie stopped smoking after his AIDS diagnosis, Queen stopped touring 1986 so no constant gigs anymore, Freddie (who never had vocal training) worked around 1987/88 with opera singer Montserrat Caballe and she might've showed him some vocal techniques.
Do you think? Roger mentioned in the Queen documentary that you can hear that he had a voice that was ailing and you can hear that. If you compare his 1989 onwards voice to his voice from the Hot Space Era in the early 80's for example, you can hear he sadly lost some the richness of tone and his voice was thinner - very noticeable on Headlong. Still though, even with his voice in the late 80's/early 90's he sang better than most singers out there then and now!
I knew Andy that you'd have to play this for Alex.
Such a powerful song!
Innuendo next please 😊
I am surprised actually because I would have thought that Alex would have 80's production issues with it.
This and Who wants to live forever LIVE..
My two absolute fav Queen songs.
Having grown up with Queen, it took me years before I ever listened to this album, being so bummed out about Freddie. Innuendo remains difficult for me to listen to.
I have the opposite the whole innuendo album is freddies goodbye love letter to me, as a 7 year old i cried but its full of positivity
@@toker6664 that's cool. I was pushing 30 when Innuendo was released, maybe that could have something to do with our differences in perspective.
Me too. They have been my life since the very beginning and I never listened to Queen music for years after Freddie died.
Mother love is the most beautiful and most sad fore
This song gives me goosebumps every time I hear it. I love it 🥰
Can’t wait to watch later. I’ll add my background contribution.
According to Brian: When it was time to record the track (the show must go on), Freddie could barely stand. ‘I said, “Fred, I don’t know if this is going to be possible to sing,”’ Brian told Rolling Stone. And he went, “I’ll fucking do it, darling” -vodka down -and went in and killed it.’ Freddie would not talk about his illness, but he was putting it out there in the music. ‘Songs like “The Show Must Go On”, in my case, or “These Are the Days of Our Lives’, in Roger’s case, were things that we gave to Freddie as a way of him working through stuff with us,’ said Brian. ‘The Show Must Go On’ did not stint on the drama or the directness of its message.
Continue with queen!
From Wiki, because I love the story.
The Show Must Go On" featured as the twelfth and final track on their 1991 album Innuendo. It is credited to Queen, but written mainly by Brian May.[2] The song chronicles the effort of Freddie Mercury continuing to perform despite approaching the end of his life, although his diagnosis with HIV/AIDS had not yet been made public in spite of ongoing media speculation claiming that he was seriously ill.[3] Mercury was so ill when the band recorded the song in 1990 that May had concerns as to whether he was physically capable of singing it. Recalling Mercury's performance, May states; "I said, 'Fred, I don't know if this is going to be possible to sing.' And he went, 'I'll fucking do it, darling' - vodka down - and went in and killed it, completely lacerated that vocal".[4]. It was further noted in May’s interview that “one-take” was all Freddie had the energy to do. Just posting what I’ve read and saw in the interview BUT, I wasn’t there.
"its a hard life", is massively underrated and must be on your list for reaction :-)
Perhaps Mercury's best vocals in the whole Queen discography are on May's song The Prophet's Song.
first time I heard that main riff, it was so freaking HEAVY. 🤟🤟
Yes that's a must
There have been a handful of music critics/listeners/song breakdowners etc who have said the vocal delay harmony section on "The Prophets Song" are more intense than those in "Bo-Rap". I'm biased because the former was always more of a favorite than the latter. Incredible and heavy tune.
one of the most under rated Queen songs of all time, and shows their major influence from prog rock. and how they medlied it all together with glam, theatrics, hard rock. the proof is in the pudding with that song
Glad you guys got back to Queen/Freddie. Been too long. Great choice. Thanks!
You should do way more Queen reactions, like how you started your channel. Great choice of a song. Did you notice the incredible bass work in the intro? Typically Deacon. Such an underrated bass player. And Fred's vocals, holy shit. One of his best performances, if not, the best. I love your reactions, as always. It's been a while since I reacted, but I am still a huge fan of your channel. Keep on rockin'!
(By the way, from the same album: check out the title track Innuendo and the song Don't Try So Hard. Fred doing some incredible falsetto work on the latter!)
SonicVolcano - Deaky's bass was always incredible, not to mention his songwriting. Some of his best know riffs like "Another One Bites the Dust" and "Under Pressure" are technically very simple while others like Millionaire Waltz are stunningly complex ...BUT...the point is, he always knew exactly what worked for any given song. Queen made a very wise choice in picking him to join the band.
Freddie's vocals are amazing but even more so is the fact that he didn't just give up and wait to die but pumped out every last vocal with all of his heart until he could no longer do so, both to give himself purpose and out of love for his craft and his fans. Innuendo and what followed were wonderful albums.
John's bass tone on this is superlative as always, but extra special given the circumstances. That guy NEVER lets you down.
@Richard Carr - I'm 70 and have been a fan since day one and saw them live. I know every song they ever made and looked forward to their next album coming out to see what they would come up with next. I had the same anticipation for every album by The Beatles. There were always surprises but you always knew it was Queen.
Sadly, if they do a Queen song every week they will run out too soon, I’m happy Andy and Alex diversified-Spread out the songs
I Want It All!!! Killer song.
My thoughts on this album...
As a lifelong fan, I started seeing them in concert from Sheer Heart Attack until they stopped touring the US in '82.
Clearly you had to see Freddie live to truly appreciate just how good he was.
When he passed, I fell to pieces. I had only cried when Lennon was killed, until Freddie was gone.
This album, I remember seeing those videos, and oh my God, he was gravely ill.....
One has to remember that he was on his death bed during these recordings.
His friends would sometimes help him stand at the microphone.
When all was said and done, Freddie had delivered an album full of vocal performances for the ages, and sealed EASILY what was one of Queen's BEST albums.
No filler. A true masterpiece.
Now, all that said, from this album, give, HEADLONG, a listen ...
Freddie kicks ass.
YESSSS to Headlong.... I just discovered it recently and I LOVE it!
Oh! Is THIS the real life? I saw the thumbnail of the Innuendo cover and let out a squeek! Been waiting SO long it seems for you guys to reopen the Queen box of jewels 😄 Thank you! One hundred a 10 it is!
Another 10 ten is a live one that's been requested a bunch already ever since you did the album version and that is "Stone Cold Crazy" Live at the Rainbow '74. Hurry! Upvote! 😁👑
Googebumps everywhere when I heard this again. Thinking that Freddie was near the end when he did this and that he all those around him knew this... One of the saddest and most amazing songs ever. When you think about the lyrics and the message... chilling and uplifting... kind of.
Grateful Dead - Birdsong live 08/27/72!!
Yaas Queen!! This song is so emotional especially when you know the story behind it. Glad to see you doing more Queen reactions! Sheer Heart Attack Live in Montreal 1981 and Stone Cold Crazy Live at the Rainbow 1974 and Fat Bottomed Girls Live at Milton Keynes Bowl 1982 are A MUST!!
yvr kid I agree with Fat Bottomed girls live at Milton Keynes & Stone Cold Crazy at the Rainbow 1974. I believe they’ve listened to studio of both...but Live is so different!
Sheer Heart Attack in Paris 1979 is the best version.
@@ZENOBlAmusic Fred is a madman in this version. Great version, too.
YESSSS to Fat Bottomed Girls at Milton Keynes Bowl 1982!
Well there's always the Highlander soundtrack... who wants... to live... foreverrrrr????
So happy to see Alex hear this for the first time. I can never listen to this song with a dry eye. It just grabs you and wipes the floor with your emotions. And Freddie's vocals? Soaring, gut wrenching, heart breaking; a perfect counterpoint to Brian's soaring, gut wrenching, heart breaking guitar.
What I love most about this song is the way it just keeps building up to a crescendo.
Thanks to you guys😍the showSTILL goes on for her majesty Queen
This song would be the sound track to my life. My favourite song. Thank you for this reaction.
This is the song on my phone to wake me up every morning. Can never get tired of it. God bless Freddie. 💋
I wake up to In the Lap of the Gods...live at Wembley
Aaaaaay! We're going way back. Queen reactions.
Only difference is that Alex has now got his chair.
@Spidey And The Jets
Hahahahaha!!! 😂🤟🏻🔥
He was dying and already suffering at this point. Our poor Freddie, but damn there is NO voice like his. Even in the end he sounded so amazing! Freddie was one of a kind!!
In the lap of the gods revisited live at the odeon I told you hehe
Have you done, "Now I'm Here?" or "Save Me?" "Tear it Up" is a banger. "Hammer to Fall" is my favorite but I think you've done that one. Great job, guys.
Missy Frye yes, Tear it Up or Save Me either one, or both, live at Montreal!
Missy Frye Now I’m Here live at Wembley 1986 is incredible!!!!!!
banger is a brit term for sausage
Who in the hell gave a thumbs down to one of the best Queen songs ever?
terry connelly Some idiot obviously!
terry connelly some Justin beiber fan probably
Some religious fanatic perhaps,
Tone deaf
Vanilla Ice.
Queen March of the Black Queen, so complicated they only ever played it live a couple of times. Totally brilliant
Totally amazing! With his full blown aids, Freddie just told the world with this song "screw it", he was going to keep making music till he dropped! The actual music video was a compilation of previous music videos, concert and backstage/behind the scenes moments. I definitely recommend you check out Liar, flick of the wrist and seven seas of rye all live at the rainbow-clear, raw unpolished but so perfect and as close to the album versions as you'll get!
I’ve asked several times for you to react to It’s Late (on Official Queen) and I won’t give up till you do it!!! There’s no video but the song more than makes up for that. I know you will love it.
Love your channel by the way! X
Sooo, two 10's finally! Respect, guys :) Amazing, dramatic, emotional and powerful song with the best Freddie's vocals and Brian's guitars. My TOP 3 Queen song also, depends on my mood and situation
So great to see you guys bring back some Queen, has been too long since it has been on the channel. I love seeing your guys reactions to some of the greatest music made.

This is one of my favorite Queen songs and a real banger indeed!!!! It's very sad but also triumphing at the same time because Freddie was dying of AIDS, but he had the attitude like, "I'm going to make every single day I have left count!!" and he fucking did it in this song! I haven't listened to this masterpiece in a while, so I'm glad your channel gave me the opportunity to listen to it again! Still waiting for you guys to do a Queen "One Vision" live at Wembley reaction because that is one of my favorite live performances of Queen, besides "Hammer to Fall" at Live Aid. Great way to start off the week though guys and have a good one Andy and Alex!
No one before and no one since! Add a May guitar solo for good measure, perfection!
Freddie Mercury Lover of Life, Singer of Songs~
this was the first piece of music I ever bought for myself. it was the single for Bohemian Rhapsody with this track as the B-Side. this hits so many emotions, and seeing Alex BLOWN AWAY proves just how solid and beautiful this track is. highest marks on this video, guys.
This song is just so heartbreaking. His "makeup may be flaking," but he's still got that powerful voice, and he still loves his fans and wants to make this music., he gets up there and sings his heart out. And we know what was coming shortly after this.
You'll always be loved, Freddy.
The Hero - Queen. From the Flash Gordon album. Queen produced Flash Gordon for a soundtrack to the 1980 Flash movie. Awesome song and epic album!
They did the soundtrack to Highlander as well... but that’s a great call with FLASH... guys it’s a real fun son.... yep I loved Flash... Freddie at his real best
@@bradleybyrne7691 A kind of magic for Highlander 👍
It is so awesome to see you guys do a Queen reaction again! Please react to It's Late! It is some of Brian's best shredding, and Freddie's vocals is great as well, the songs also has great drumming. It is one of the best Queen songs. The Show Must Go On is one of the most difficult songs to sing.
Ohh a really good song is Queen Keep yourself alive live in Montreal
Keep Yourself Alive at Houston 1977 is probably the best version.
**Zenobia** that one as well
The lyrics to this song have been a huge help through dark times. It really is a brilliant but very sad song.
Such a good song in all ways, the lyrics, the performance, the context, that amazing chord progression and successive key changes, the fact Freddie died 6 weeks after release, the show literally must go on!
The man was basically dying , but what a voice. Do the title track Innuendo , you won't be disappointed.
Absolutely kills me, when I hear this, an amazing song, but must of been hell for Freddie, who had lost loads of weight, and was incredibly sick, the lyric inside my heart is aching, my makeup might be flaking by my smile, still stays on.
That was friggin AWESOME!!! Loved Alex's reaction!! Blows your mind the notes he hit. Dudes your Fabulous!! Thanks for picking that song! Always has been one of my favorites because of 'everything' packed in "The Show Must Go On"!!!! 😃👍❤👑🌠
One of the greatest vocal performances of all time, I reckon. Definitely my favourite of theirs, and that’s a huge achievement from such a killer catalogue.
Andy's face when Dr. May moves into that gorgeous guitar solo is priceless--just how I feel when that exquisite tone and emotion flow into the air! Alex, thanks for mentioning the drumming--RT's drumming is so much of the Queen sound that sometimes I forget to just listen to how good it is. One of my favorite Queen songs too.
Please check out "Who Wants to Live Forever", whether or not you choose to review it. Thanks guys...
Yes you are back doing a Queen song!!!! My favorite is watching you two listen and react to Queen!!
So good. Brian knew what he was doing.
The vid is excellent too.
Great song this song has a lot of meaning 💞❤❤❤❤❤
try bijou the song before this on the cd. great work by Brian.
Ah, Bijou. The inside out song. It's on my good night playlist.
Truth is: those latter-era, '90s Queen albums RARELY get the respect they deserve.
...even as a massive fan, I have to say: I was (unfairly) paying less attention to them and doubting their abilities.
-There is NO comparison for the INDELIBLE immensity and magnificence of '70s QUEEN!
...but that shouldn't lead ANYone to believe that: The rest of their work isn't filled with the same dimension and capacity (just: affected by: the times, development and experimentation/investigation) as the earlier masterpieces. 🤘
[Never attempt to compare the two, though. No.]
...They went for a "rockier" sound in the latter half of the '80s and they, certainly, had a few slips, but... They maintained their brilliant song=writing, charismatic performances and density of sonic assault, right through until the end. 👍👍🧡😥🧡💜❤
Questa canzone è stata registrata in un casino vuoto, Freddie stava malissimo e Brian non aveva idea se sarebbe riuscito a farla o meno
Lui vi riuscì, bevendo un goccio di Vodka ogni tanto
Un capolavoro❤️
Alex did not see Innuendo play that again to him please ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Awesome guys, this song is amazing. Anyone who would not like this has no idea of what amazing vocal ramge Freddie has and the meaning of truly incredible musicians they are. More Queen never a bad idea. Thanks again
Queen “Who Wants To Live Forever” definitely. OR a live version of “White Queen.”
LilKronk92 White Queen is AWESOME!! ❤️
LilKronk92 they’ve done the Hammersmith-Odeon ‘75 live version of White Queen. It’s great 😉
@@donnaj9769 Now that you say that I think I remember watching that video. Such an amazing version!
I also suggest you two do "I want it all", is a killing song.
Keep the videos coming, I love them
Have you done IT'S LATE yet guys? You won't regret it.
Andy, Alex: That was an awesome reaction! You must react to live at Hammersmith Odeon concert held on 12/24/1975. It is fucking amazing. The theatrics and musicianship is out of this universe. You positively will not be disappointed. I assure you this my young brothers. Please make it happen. It is just under 1 hour of a live vintage Queen performance. Thank you dudes.
Their "Made In Heaven" album - released after Freddie passed - was exactly what it says it is. Freddie recorded LOTS of vocals on LOTS of songs, because he knew he was dying. "Innuendo" was the last album they released before Freddie's death. "Made in Heaven" was released after Freddie's death. And the vocals on that album are even MORE amazing than the vocals on "Innuedndo".
I believe the way this went down, according to reports, Brian asked Freddie something like "Are you sure you'll be able to sing this?" Freddie took his shot of vodka, and said "I'll f**king do it, darling." 😁
That voice is of a man who was extremely sick, wasn't going out in public anymore, just barely had the energy to get out of bed to record for a few hours a day, and he KILLED IT.
You just have to check out " White Man" and "It's Late" both absolute Queen bangers.
I have lost count how many times I have heard this song, easily one of my top 3, a Brian May classic
The show still goes on after 30 years without Freddie, 30 years today
next reacción: Was it all worth it from The Miracle album. Amazing song of 1989 and return sound of 70 + keyboards.
YESSSSS! Someone after my own heart. I'm pushing hard for this reaction too!!!!
Demo versions featured May singing, having to sing some parts in falsetto because they were too high. When Brian May presented the final demo to Mercury, he had doubts that Mercury would be physically capable of singing the song's highly demanding vocal line, due to the extent of his illness at the time. To May's surprise, when the time came to record the vocals, Mercury consumed a measure of vodka and said "I'll fucking do it, darling!" then proceeded to perform the vocal line.[4]
May sang most of the backing vocals (including the very last line) and played Korg M1 synthesiser as well as guitar. Producer David Richards suggested the key-shift in the second verse.
"The Show Must Go On" came from Roger and John playing the sequence, and I started to put things down. At the beginning, it was just this chord sequence, but I had this strange feeling that it could be somehow important, and I got very impassioned and went and beavered away at it. I sat down with Freddie, and we decided what the theme should be and wrote the first verse. It's a long story, that song, but I always felt it would be important because we were dealing with things that were hard to talk about at the time, but in the world of music, you could do it.[6]
- Brian May - 1994
Check out Queen's "Who Wants to Live Forever". I love the song for so many reasons.
Try "Liar" live at the Rainbow 1974. Early Queen when they were rockers.
Liar at the Hammersmith Odoen 1975, is better, because of the energy.
**Zenobia** wrong
Great tune! Great review! Thanks guys.
I love this song!
Just wanted to tell you how much I enjoy your reactions. I grew up on this music, I am a 59 years young grandma. Keep rocking!!!
Well done guys.... been a queen fan my whole life...this song speaks to me, thank you.
Brian said Freddie's voice on that track was like laser cutting through glass.
Melissa Curtis Totally understandable! The one I couldn’t listen to for decades was Nobody but you! Heard it when it was originally released and it completely gutted me, listened to again this year for the first time since then and was totally gutted again!
My personal fav for Queen is Innuendo, but this song is amazing for sure!
You can react to 'It's a Hard Lıfe' one of my favorite from The Works.
Loved this and your reaction. Freddie’s singing and this song can’t get enough accolades. I still can’t get over how long he worked while he was seriously ill right up to a short time before he took to his home to die. He was an incredible artist and totally courageous human being. Thanks so much for doing it.
I don’t know if you’ve done it yet but I love the video of “Now I’m Here” from Wembley “86”.
It’s so hard rock and what Freddie does with the vocal has me watching it over and over. Love you guys.
Have you guys done These Are the Days of Our Lives by Queen. It's a slower track but beautifully composed
Freddy was literally dying during the recording of this album
Les dejo likes infinitos!!
Súper emocionada, el 24 de noviembre hicieron 30 años de su partida física, Freddie 💫🌠✨
Great job dudes! Love that song.
