Oxford university owns most of the places harry potter was filmed in
Dalton C. Rocha in México our education system sucks too, wish we all could go to universities like this but unfortunately here this kind of universities are SO expensive. In Latin America the government only worries about their money and they don't care about us, its sad but this is our cruel reality 😭
justachannel I go to UDG, one of the bests universities in Mexico and one of the bests in LA and while I pay nothing I get a more than decent education while in USA poor people can dream with university only when they get scholarships. So, stop complaining, we have UNAM and UDG in Mexico and they're free and even when we're poor we can get education, you only have to be smart enough to go and pass the admission exams.
Must feel good too be part of such an elite university.

I have always loved Harvard for one reason. Once in England a girl from the North scored the highest grades ever on the A level examinations but she had a Northern Geordie Accent so Oxford and Cambridge rejected her for that reason even though she was the top scholar of her academic A level year. She was not considered to be PLU: people like us This is one way the British discriminate. This rejection made the papers and shortly thereafter she received an unsolicited acceptance letter from Harvard where she went on full scholarship. It is these little but big things that make America, and especially Harvard, so great. I always felt that this story showed me God's finger.

Just because you get good grades doesn't mean you are suited to oxford, she most likely did really badly in the interview process and they decided that a supervision system like that in oxford wouldn't be effective for her

Congratulations! The classes were great. I took Political Communication and Writings on Social and Ethical Issues. My writing class was like a small seminar limited to only 15 people. Highly recommend the writing course. Some classes can be really difficult. Lots of papers, readings and problem sets to do every day! But, you may get a chance to study with current Harvard students. Professors are important when choosing courses. Anyway, enjoy your summer!

Depending on how much money your parents get, some people can get into Harvard for free..

Why are people so impressed? This is Harvard SUMMER SCHOOL, not impressive at all. He didn't get into real Harvard. If you can afford the summer school then you can go. The classes are nowhere near as rigorous as real Harvard classes. Stop fanboying this guy.

Harvard University is one of the best universities in the world. The level of education is one of the highest out there. Professors who work there are one of the greatest, who give students their skills and knowledge. After graduating Harvard University you are at least very successful or millionaire, president. Thats why Harvard University is so special ;)

More on point, you gotta look salaries of those who come out of these Ivy Leagues vs Oxbridge, typically 4x more than those of Oxbridge, the facilities available are the best in the world, the investment for Harvard is ~x35 more than Oxford, the lecturers at Harvard are more credited, the people who are involved in Harvard are the most successful people in the world, from Manchester United, Sir Alex Ferguson, Stephen Hawking, PSY - Yes! the korean singer, George Clooney and many more than OxBridge will ever have.
The living at Harvard or Ivy Leagues, with actually roads to fit cars in unlike the UK, driving lessons offered in schools in several schools preparing students for the real-world, helping them learn about arts along with their academics, Harvard is the best (ever) University quite easily.
If you're talking about a ranking in a UK News paper about the world, forget it - Never trust anything British, will never, the whole country is alot of bullshit. But I admit Oxford is a great place, offers some of the best education in the world, but Harvard, Yale and MIT for me over Oxbridge anyday.
