Nice video, I diagnosed with T1 and use the FreeStyle Libre sensor with Blucon transmitter, I track blood glucose readings on watch and phone constantly and the phone beeps at night when the glucose is out of range

Europe and the US now have separate chart as to what is normal blood pressure. US medical business wanting to make more money decided 130 is no longer normal, whereas in Europe it still is.
it used to be 140, and before that, over 30 years ago, and for all time prior it was (for top number) your age +100 so if you are 47 than 147 would be considered normal. if you were 59 than 159, if you arr 35 than 135 etc..

How would I know what number is good and which one is a low
AND REMEMBER to take your blood preasure at least five times in succession. Blood pressure will be highest at the start. Take your lowest pressure as being the most accurate. 140 over 90 is normal for middle aged or elderly people. Any thing slightly higher is no call for concern.
Right. And if these gizmos were accurate you wouldn't need all those repetitions. These instruments don't really measure blood pressure - they measure the force required to choke off blood flow to your arm and attempt to correlate that to BP. It will take more force to choke off a big muscular arm than a thin flabby arm. I think it's a crude test.

Through my observations, most doctors are not bothered about the correct or preferred way in taking a patient's BP; arm in right position, not taking BP over thick clothing etc....(all that you have pointed out). Nurses are not spared either! I have a question. Does it matter which arm (left or right) is used in taking the BP?

How does heart rate come into play ...?

Но автор ролика неверно измерил давление, рубашка искажает показатели давления. При показателях 132/78 и пульсе 69, давление будет 74,57 мм рт ст(высокое).

1) which arm should we use? The left arm seems to be always higher?
2) can we use the right arm?
3) the first reading is always higher than the 2nd & 3rd reading. Do we need to take avg of 3 readings for accuracy?
4) The fluctuation of 3 reading and left and right arm can be alot ofdifference.
Eg. Taking at same time..
Left arm 160/90 then 140/85 then 130/80
Right arm 145/85 then 130/80 then 125/78…

@@Hadi30978 Using the same brand machine I also thought I would try my right arm and you won’t believe this but I had the same exact measures you did for the right arm. Exactly! I think it has more to do with the machine than it does with us … For the last few days my readings have been 118/70, 121/83 and 124/82 on the left arm. Then it spiked to 180/101 tonight taken on right arm and it freaked me out,then it dropped to 163/92 on the right arm. I have some chronic pain in the body for the last two months with anxiety so maybe that’s part of it? I’m not sure I trust the little machine anymore!

There are a few components to treating high blood pressure at home. One plan I discovered which succeeds in merging these is the Wilfs Calmer Plan (check it out on google) without a doubt the most incredible guide i've heard of. look at the super info .

no matter what type of treatment (and there are many) a good BPM is required to tell you what your BP is!
Sure, but even the best BPM shows wild variation if you repeat the test. And these devices don't account for variables such as a big, muscular arm vs a thin, flabby arm. It's a very crude test at best.

Hi, question, I know this video is from March of 2012 but is this Blood Pressure monitor on the video still the device go with? what about Omron devices and the brand devices? I currently have the Omron BP786N and sometimes I have issues with it that it gives me readings that Im unsure of.

when i started doing this ,i made all sorts of mistakes ,,standing up ,,,,,,chatting ,, ,,,position of pipe wrong ,,,too loose ,,tooo tight ,,,,when mine read 230 over 120,, i knew my application was wrong ,,good luck ,,

Its low but I suffer from low blood pressure, are you exercising regularly? Drink more water, if you have symptoms of dizziness and are seeing spots go to doctors office it could be your low blood pressure affecting u , but if you have no symptoms it could be your healthy try eating a little bit more salt in your food I try to stay between 90/68 to 110/69 ,

We have the UA-789A unit and the instructions are terrible. After we finally figured out how to enter the date & time we had problems with the operation. Whoever designed this unit and wrote the instruction book should redo the entire procedure. It’s not intuitive. It’s laborious to even try to find past readings. We have a $20 blood pressure unit that is simple to operate. It doesn’t even require looking at the manual.
I’ve written dozens of detailed procedures for NASA so each step is clearly understood. The instructions in your manual are scattered and pages are poorly titled. You need to have a quick start guide and put all of the useless information at the very end of the booklet. I notice your company has more than 50 blood pressure machines. Why? I can see having a few different models but 50??? Why don’t you design one of two well instead of having so many?
I’ve never felt the need to write a review for a blood pressure machine until now. All the previous ones were easy to operate and their manuals were competently written. This one is not. At least there weren’t dozens of misspelled words with terrible grammar like other Chinese product manuals are.
