Lyrics:
Hidden chamber beneath the earth
Built with stone and very dark
Hiding lost atomic arms
From a war never fought
Malicious schemes, the devil's own
Weapons under his control
Overlord splits the ground, aiming for the sky
A strike for the Holy One, now it's time to die
Nuke the cross
Wall of fire glowing bright
Lightning cracks across the sky
Warheads boiling to extremes
Religion is now history
Pit fiend in the hellish planes
Master of his domain
Sounds of the angels crying
Heard throughout the night
A strike for the Holy one, now it's time to die
Nuke the cross
Your Savior can't retaliate
Can't fight against this storm of hate
Brought on by years of lies
Cast right out from the skies
Using stockpiles made by man
Stronger than we can grasp
Missiles launched, encased in black
Aiming for the sky
God can't defend this strike
Now's His time to die
Dislikes are from people who were searching for how to heat up their croissant in the microwave.
hentai taco bomb
that's killerlmfao
LMAO, thanks. I just spit out my coffee.
Make the Internet Great Again- You'r doing it right!!
I can't fucking hear him sing "NUKE THE CROSS" with a straight face, thanks a lot!
Joel Grind is one of the most humble musicians in metal, every time I've seen him live he remembers me and we have a good lengthy chat. Love the man and his band.
Yeah, he is definitely one of the coolest and humble musicians u could ever meet
With out a doubt. You'd never expect how nice of a dude he is from the stage presence alone.
Satan humbles anyone.
He does it 4 the love of music n fans he makes no money at gigs ask him
Да, и в этой плеяде Куортон Сет
Such a simple song to play on guitar, but so fucking fun and aggressive
NeffGladiator all thrash is
Ever heard of the Kreator xD The new ones are really a pain in the ass to play
It's all about how it sounds not how technical it is. It is good to play hard riffs for practice but if it's so hard that you just sound like shit when you try to play it you should probably tone it down a notch
That was kind of the whole point of metal to begin with. You can do so much with so little, but you can be technical if you want.
Beavis and Butthead profile pic niiiiice. Dude you rule hehe \m/
remember when you were 16 and thought Bathory was rad? This guy made a fucking career out of that feeling
Bathory is rad
The fun police arrived. According to him we should hate Slayer
Quorthon will live forever
I'm pretty sure the singer is even wearing a Bathory T-shirt. That said, this is still rad as fuck
They still are,and always have been
It's always funny seeing 80's metal ba- what do you mean 2009?
80's metal ba...? what "ba"?
ChickenMcPussy ba- stands for band
Fuck you haters.its a 3 man death metal band it's obvious you guys don't know true TALENT!!!!so go get your wham cds.
William Whiddon jeez who pissed in your cereal, and why are you talking about haters on this comment?
+William Whiddon it's not death metal it's blackened thrash
Sounds like street punk mixed with thrash and elements of black metal.Crossover rules!
Badasss Indeed
I went to a Toxic Holocaust show once, and it was the craziest show I've ever experienced. Crowd went nuts, people moshing, stagediving and crowdsurfing. It was that intense, that one of the guys in the crowd broke down the bass. What a night!
Basically, church. LOL
the shirts these three are wearing pretty much sum up the musical style of the band
Venom bathory whats the third one
Fernando Gonzalez Slayer I think
It is slayer
Nice pfp man!
Huh guess you're right
Simple but damn good. Joel's vocals are killer on this song.
Hey guys cheek this band called (Tusk:death by exile ep) here UA-cam check it out🤘🤘🤘🤘
What fucking vocals you dickhead sounds like utter shite
@@orionwyard1711 dude it's thrash metal if u don't like metal just say that
This is new wave Thrash Metal....?
We’ll be just fine.

Pizza Thrash
@@dragonking4354 ok Chris
@@onutube6392 my name is Derrick lol
in my opinion Joel Grind is a great musician because he writes all his music so he just hire musicians for videos and live presentations...
inspirational.
And an a great producer as well
And he's such a cool and humble person irl. When I saw him we had an amazing chat
This song still hits incredibly hard, and yet it's not an overly complicated song.
Prime example that less is more.
0:02 this song is so metal it lit his arm on fire
After hundreds of times playing this song I just now realized that after reading your comment lmao
@@smileyluna2365 lmfao me too🤦
songs dont gotta be complicated to be awesome
That's exactly it..
BodomTranquilityWorm True, although this song is kind of weak, for a music video I mean. "In The Name of Science" should have gotten a video instead.
hell yeah m8
Exactly!
11+ years later and it still hits!
One of the biggest hits in metal history🤘
Lol nope
Bruh chill
@@matthewfryer5100yup
It's funny cause he looks like he's in a hair metal band like Poison, but instead he makes rad thrash metal
Hair Metal and Thrash are both good
@@dumbasstransgirllol46 Both fucking shit, but this is crossover thrash so its ok
Taurus
crossover? 😂 this is blackened thrash
Toxic Holocaust=aquanet=Discharge
He look like young hannemman
Toxic Holocaust, Havok, Municipal Waste, Warbringer. The Big Four of Modern Thrash Metal.
Municipal, Toxic, Power Trip, Havok
@@mroc7113 Terrifier, Trashwall, Vektor
You forgot to mention Vektor and Hexen
Can we swap Municipal for Revocation or something good?
@@dogfrog9543 Whatever you want, man. That up there is MY Big Four of modern Thrash.
It's nothing inovative or original, but who cares? Nice combination of Bathory, Venom and Sodom
Warbringer is almost the same. Buy they are better
Jorge Hernandez Levy Warbringer is quite different Closer to stuff like Exodus
Warbringer started to get pretty innovative after their first album...
Jorge Guzmán Warbringer is say is like exodus Iron Maiden Kreator and a bit of Metallica
and a lot of metallica, especially this song being very similar to Fight Fire With Fire.
Year is 2024, still..... Nuke the Cross
singers got a lil bit of an angry baby face going on
+Underdose Joel Grind could look like a popstar as long as he put out thrash like he does.
hans haas I was replying to Underdose lol
R u really a black who likes this? Just wondering...uhhmm most blacks think this is satanic
John Dee holy fuck you're ignorant.. Most white people think this is satanic too. Read a book, educate yourself.
to be fair I don't know any black guys that like metal so...
That Bathory shirt...
the flame in the arm is epic
This album slays
Gotta love this new age Gospel music.
In the most metal way I can say this,This truly is a beautiful song.
After listening this band for almost 10 years, finally, on November 4 I'll see them live. Can't wait for the pure fucking crazy mosh.
UPDATE: IT WAS AMAZING!!! So much raw energy, the moshpit was brutal, and everything was even better than expected. Thank you so much Joel!!!
I like them just because they are wearing Venom, Bathory and Slayer shirts.
I used to dislike the vocals, now I think they just add to the personalty of the band. So yeah, this kicks ass!
When he says "nuke the cross" there's just somethin awesome about it
Not really there are bands that did these vocals before and better like Possessed and Sodom
I felt the same way
This comment is really old now but what do you think of his vocals on the new record? I think they compliment the album really well even though I like his semi black metal delivery also
@@twwells you confuse me
Still one of my favorites! Always happy when i see my little Toxic Holocaust patch on my crust winter vest. Only metalband i have put on my clothes.
Reminds me of his own blend of old skool Kreator mostly on this one!
High Praise!
I used to work for Relapse Records... toxic h. Has come a LONG WAY! 🤘
Wow...I grew up in the 80's and these guys get it.--first band I've seen since all the interest in 'bringing back' the 80's style that really get it...instant classic.
this band is fucking fun.
A blasting wall of sound!
Wait a minute : only 3 guys?
Fckng awesome!
Omg I love Joel's hairstyle
Toxic Halocaust is one of my all time favorite bands!!! Don't underestimate these guys they're Monsters of Thrash!!!!
🤘🏾😈🍻💯
Emo my eye. That look is UK hardcore punk 1982!
+itookallthenames And I suppose that makes the emo look ok.
He kinda looks like some anime character from Naruto especially with that head band.
Joel is really into stuff like Discharge and Broken Bones.
+JamesHeadbangerfield 100% true
I don't think you actually know what the emo look looks like without looking it up online.
This song rocks! Also, I love the hairstyle of the vocalist, Joel Grind. It really fits well with the band's esthetic of being mad scientists in a chemical power plant.
His hand burning - wow I get that while even practicing, I feel that too much.
The fact these dudes come from Portland Oregon where I’m from makes me so proud 😎 Portlands Metal scene is pretty awesome, small but impactful. Love you Portland!
People like the vocalist make me more confident about my semi-long blond hair.
Has a very definitive Celtic Frost to it while still maintaing it's originality...🤘
The singer looks just a little bit like Jeff hanneman r.i.p
Met the guys in Singapore in like 2004 or 2005 dont really remember. It was in a small bar in Paradigm tower where many metal gigs would happen. The vocalist was real nice, he even game me a tape "Singapore/Malaysia Attack 2004" pretty fucking sweet. These guys truly worked their way up the ladder and im happy to see how far they've got.... gj guys keep it up!! \m/
Bro please sell me that tape if you still have it. Or at least upload the audio to UA-cam. I really want to hear those Misfits covers
Toxic Holocaust é uma das melhores do Thrash atualmente. Não tem álbum ruim, é porrada na orelha!
Por que tá cheio de brasileiro aqui? Kkk
Went from my generic no-name mp3 player watchnig this in middleschool/hghschool. To now listening on my Hifi setup. Wild how things change
Me and the brothers had a family mosh pit at school and the teachers called a lock down still fucking worth it
I like how the vocalist has the 2008 emo haircut
I "low key" love that style
Not once have i looked at that haircut and thought "emo".
At most, it's pretty glam metal.
Man I haven’t heard this song in ages. Still holds up!
Punk, metal, reggae. Thats my food water and shelter.
I grew up in the Seattle area, I’m 56 and still listen to metal church, onslaught, venom. killer killer music here, Joel kills it every time, thanks for the great music Joel, up the horns man, keep on doing what your doing 🤘🤘🤘

@@miklolokz4591 dude what? Shut up.
Watched this a thousand times and it never gets old !
Wish these guys had a 4th band member to solo over that bridge section.
Respect from Belgium
Awesome old school vibe
This song is about how nuclear bombs changed human history so badly that it makes religious wars look silly.

Why the fuck are people even complaining for? Obviously, (to all of you who think this isn't metal) It's metal. Its thrash, but with a huge punk influence back ground. Just because this song doesn't have a solo, automatically doesn't make it metal. You can argue all you want, but the style Joel makes in my opinion pretty kick ass and is pretty much metal.
These guys are awesome live. i saw them with Kingdom of Sorrow and GWAR back in October not even realizing who they were.
I was just thinking about hs and remembered walking down the halls and always seeing him around. Had to come and take a listen again. Glad he made/did something so awesome.
This is thrash metal, no screaming or sensitive emotional lyrics... Just harsh vocals.
I love this band ♡
At first I was like they suck ...then after10 seconds im hooked 🤘
I'ma light my clothes on fire every time i play from now on 🤟🤟
Merciless death - dark angel springs to mind.
I'm really fucking happy I have this album on record!!
Fast. Good. Just don't stare directly into his hair.
Kick ass where there from are these guys from Quebec montreal???love to know more from em there awsome

Comecei a ouvi los a cerca de um ano🎉 viciado
Used to listen to this & Wild Dogs before jamming with my homies, always hyped me TF up. Nuke the cross!
This song still holds up
Saw these guys live when I was in grade 7. Blonde guy was actually really cool and was just out in the crowd after he played and actually just hung around and talked about each band in-between with me, my dad and brother. Pretty cool looking back at it.
Tell me how are they ruining rock/metal?
have you heard any of their songs?
I'm not a huge fan of them but they're not all bad.
they have some talent you have to admit.
Stoked there is still good thrash bands around the past 20 or so years
THANK YOU!
