Machan I watched couple of videos of yours recently and I felt that the message which you are trying to place might mislead people who are trying to come over with professional qualifications. If we consider the immigrants from SL to here are two types, Students and Professionals. The content which these videos carries mostly aligned with the first category. Melbourne offers a well demand over professional sectors with couple of years of relevant professional experiences. Hence if a person with such well regarded qualifications watches this, they might get a wrong opinion about the way job market operate and finding a professional career in Australia. Shanith Kankanamge totally agree. Not sure his targeted audience. When u migrate to any country as a student, bit difficult coz you have to adjust to that lifestyle. Being used to having maids in lanka and coming to Aust and having to do all yourself of course you find it difficult. But as a professional or once you graduated life is so good. You could live your life the way you want. Even for an unprofessional if you work hard and make the right decisions, you still could have a comfortable life.

Machan I watched couple of videos of yours recently and I felt that the message which you are trying to place might mislead people who are trying to come over with professional qualifications. If we consider the immigrants from SL to here are two types, Students and Professionals. The content which these videos carries mostly aligned with the first category. Melbourne offers a well demand over professional sectors with couple of years of relevant professional experiences. Hence if a person with such well regarded qualifications watches this, they might get a wrong opinion about the way job market operate and finding a professional career in Australia. I suggest to mention the market which you talk to in the video so viewer can decide whether it’s applicable to their circumstances. Thanks and all the best!
Shanith Kankanamge totally agree. Not sure his targeted audience. When u migrate to any country as a student, bit difficult coz you have to adjust to that lifestyle. Being used to having maids in lanka and coming to Aust and having to do all yourself of course you find it difficult. But as a professional or once you graduated life is so good. You could live your life the way you want. Even for an unprofessional if you work hard and make the right decisions, you still could have a comfortable life.

I think u shd speak for yourself cuz there are professionally qualified and high salary earners who are sri lankans who are living successful lives with PR and or citizenship. Not all people struggle in Australia but yes most who are there with student Visa suffer a lot. That's true. But you shouldn't generalize the situation and assume everyone s like that. I know cuz I have been to Melbourne many times and my sister lives a very successful life over there.
