YES. A secure app lock should be provided by Samsung as routine.
As we are all aware there are a number of app locks in the Play Store but I have yet to find one that is truly secure. They all seem to unlock themselves overnight from time to time without any obvious reason. A proper lock, which works all the time should be provided by Samsung.
I wholeheartedly agree with this video. I have nothing to hide really, but I hate when ppl used to start clicking around my stuff because they could or had some faint curiosity. They should also bring back "hide content" on the recents screen. My note 8 still has it. It's not the most useful feature, but I liked it and I believe it would be great for content creators imo.
Yeah they need real app lock glad it's finally coming!!
actually Samsung already has app lock for years in China version of one ui but they didn't put this function into global version and I don't know why

Pinning an app is awesome for parents if they let their kid watch shows or play on their phones! I used it a ton for my little girl until she was old enough to figure it out... granted that was just when she was 3 though LOL kids are smart!

I also want Samsung to bring "Repair Apps" option in Recovery mode, Don't know why they removed it.
Really usefull feature if you try to Debloat using ADB, and if you mess up and stuck in restart loops, 'Repair Apps' option may atleast help, at least it worked in my case in my old Note 10.

I like secure folder, cause i got multiple apps in it & duplicate apps in it & i dont have to enter or use my fingerprint every time i want to switch to another app in secure folder. Having a seperate gallery app in secure folder, is great, cause i got multiple pics & vids of me & my girlfriend & if a family member use my phone to look for a photo, i dont have to worry about them seeing something, i dont want them to see.
No one is saying get rid of secure folder, people just also want individual app lock
It may be useful sometime. However, I have any app I need in my secure folder, so I don't need anything else locked from prying eyes. As for messenger, I just dragged and dropped in into secure folder for a test. Had to log in again initially.
I’m talking about Google messages app. Also as I said most people do not find secure folder a replacement for single app lock for all the reasons I listed. I also find secure folder to be far too much for most use cases I have
i know a tip 1. put the app on secure folder and then put the app that's on secure folder on the home screen then hide the unlocked app

I don't know why is everybody making a big deal about applock? When you can just download the app. And that's it That is the first thing that I do or whenever I get a new phone

@@carlosvaldes6770 there is no app lock app made by Samsung on either store. I don't want 3rd party solutions
The problem is that the don't seem to work properly I.e. they unlock themselves from time to time. Perhaps you have one that doesn't and, if so, please let us know its name.
