I never like to have a signature scent because I think its boring to smell the same all the time. There are so many great perfumes out there so I prefer having a rotation. Of course there are some perfumes that I will keep for life and will always have in my collection but to me I like to put on different perfume each day depending on my mood. 😁
I like having a signature scent while also being able to experiment and things like that. The signature scent is for when I don't have time or for another reason don't want to think too much about what I should wear. The signature scent is a fool proof, comforting and simple choice. What makes it signature is the fact that I wear it so often since I have a lot of those days 😆 I like having different signature scents depending on what season and occasion it is btw, so even though I'm wearing signature scents I still never get bored with them.

I found myself using Prada L'Homme as my signature scent. It's great for the office, it doesn't seem to put off any co-workers, and (to me) it smells classy and sophisticated. The majority of the Prada line seems great, as I'm really enjoying my samples of Luna Rossa & Luna Rossa Sport. Go freshies! 😀
Nice video. I have come to the long and hard decision, that I truly have two signature scents. My signatures are very nostalgic to me, and they transport me back to time periods in my life. Dolce & Gabbana Pour Homme and Malizia Uomo Vetiver.
Great video Monika! I just noticed that you got your hair cut. Looks great. I'm such an alpha woman. I love lighter fragrances most of the time though. It is hot most of the time where I live in Texas, any strong fragrance is just awful when it's very hot. When it's cold out I wear different fragrances. It gets very cold here sometimes. Some fragrance notes I love are very strong chocolate, cream, vanilla, gardenia, American magnolia, honeysuckle... I adore the smell of Mexican chocolate, deep, dark, & in your face. That's where the cacao plant was first used to make chocolate. They use it in savory dishes too. A fragrance that surprised me is Tresor by Lancome. I didn't like it at all in the bottle. A friend sprayed it on me anyway. I love It! You never know, well sometimes.
This is one of the most informative videos about perfumes I've seen on UA-cam. Thank you Monika! I found it particularly interesting that you referred to key words in the manufacturer's perfume description. So far, these texts have all sounded the same to me. The many sample perfumes were also very helpful. I think you are currently the best perfume connoisseur on UA-cam and you make very factual and helpful videos. Thank you for your shared excellent expertise 👍
You have some great recommendations for people just starting their journey in the fragrance world. I think I like your older intro music better. Great video, though!
Of all the videos I've watched on finding a signature scent, this one was the most helpful. I'd say I'm in between the quirky category and the friendly/approachable category.
I’ve been searching for about 15 years, until I found Creed Aventus! I never heard about this fragrance or Creed at all before. I tried the scent by chance, before I saw the price. I applied it on my arm and left the store ( I never buy fragrances without waiting at least for 1-2 hours). After 1 hour I knew that I found it, definitely! I went back to the store to buy it. Than I saw the price. First I was shocked, but later that day i realized my luck: not many guys wear this fragrance! I don’t know if it fits that genius to my own bodyscent, but I love to wear it so much. I also have other great fragrances like Amouage Reflection men, but there is no other that fits so perfect like Aventus does. I really hope that they won’t reformulate it since Creed have been sold recently 🙏
@@gtasmike333 it is definitely one of the most popular fragrances in the fragrance community! Without a doubt. most people who have one or two bottles, know nothing of it. I have never, not one time in my life, smelled it out in public... and I'm 40 years old LOL
gtasmike333 Don’t be stupid man. You obviously don’t know much about the frag market. I wear Aventus since 3 years and I smelled it just one time on an other guy. BTW: People like you, who comment that way are mostly frustrated und hate Aventus, cause they love that frag, but unfortunately it’s too expensive, right? So who is poor here? 😂
@@eses9268 I didnt meant poor in a negative way, its just a saying you know. Aventus is one of the popular frags thanks to its clones, notably CDNIM which i have and i like it. Guerlain Heritage is my signature scent. I do have alot of fragrances that goes in the same style : L'Instant de Guerlain, Allure de Chanel, Amouage Dia Man, Hermes Rocabar and many others.
Monika, I'm a new subscriber who is just enamored with you and your whole vibe. I'm a guy who is partial to sweeter scents for myself and after a whole lot of sample buying, I think I've decided that Ferragamo Uomo and Armani Code Profumo are my faves. Every once in a while someone in a store will ask what scent I have on and it's always one of those two or Boucheron Jaipur edt which may be my very favorite of them all, but l never see any reviewer mention it. They should though because it's pretty special. Love your channel! Cheers!
Hey Monika ! Very interesting vidéo ! 😊 Which fragrances would you suggest for a shy, kind, peaceful dreamy girl ? I don't like to smell like others, and I'm tired of fruity-sugary perfumes and I'm tired of bergamote, rose, musk, vanilla, patchouli and of all those notes we can find in like every new perfumes. Very nice video thank you. Searching for one like „the olive branch“ from lush. What category would you put that in? Any ideas for likewise scents? :) It‘s sensual for me.
Hi Monika Which is closer to creed aventus between Armaf Club de Nuit İntense Man and Mont Blanc Explorer? Which one do you think is your favorite in terms of performance and fragrance beauty?
Thanks Monika. I'm sporting the mature classy vibe at the moment and with age comes the right to wear some really challenging formulations 😂 atm my go to is Guerlain Habit Rouge (equestrian heritage yes), with old spice aftershave (very subtle), ruzel hair tonic (smells amazing) and DAX wave and groom with a light dusting of baby powder on the face and neck after shaving. Very barbershop and spicy which is great as it's winter here in Australia. I also have a bottle of Dior Eau Savage, and Chanel pour Monsieur which I spray on occasionally. I brought Zara sandalwood on your recommendation last week $7 AUD from Zara Canberra Nice one! Thanks.

My signature and all time favorite scent is and will forever be Bleu de Chanel EdP! It fits to me the best and I will wear it for the rest of my life...
The scent you wear most is your signature; and the scent you've made an impression on someone with is what most likely other people consider 'your' signature
Looking forward to your videos every time Monika. Very useful advices 💯👌🏼 I agree with personality traits, and also age or era of time, I can't get myself to wear same perfume I used to wear when I was teanager althou it's still nice perfume... for example Amor amor by Cacharel, it brings the memories back when I was younger, just like goin back in time lol 💕
@@MonikaColognes lol I also find myself in weird situation like when I'm going through rough time in my life and I want to put on perfume I love, but then I hold back and think "hold on, if I spray it now, this lovely perfume will remind me of a rough time!"
Great Video & Topic! I often hear those words thrown around, “ Signature Scents” and your video gives a great perspective on it. I love your friendly soothing voice! Have a great weekend & may you please stay Safe!👍😎
Have you tried it? I bought a 10ml sample and quite liked it. I bought a bottle from fragrance net or fragrance x and it seems totally different and i dont care for it at all. I think it may be manufactured in a couple of different countries. If so, i got the bad one. Hope you have better luck.
Sorry I comment a lot lol I love your videos and always have a lot to say. But I do have a new signature scent which is the new Dior Homme and I been quiet about it because I know many don't like it but I found two women on UA-cam who did say they really like it. But I really like it, it's what I'm looking for in a masculine fragrance and deep down I know I will receive compliments from women.
Hi Monika! One of Covid’s symptoms is the loss of smell, so you think this is for us to appreciate the greatness of what we have? Thanks for your great videos! Kisses from Spain 🇪🇸
Monika Cioch thanks so much, same for you! I realized from your video I’m in the Classy Person class, as I use both DHI and Dior Eau Sauvage Parfum. For a sporty person, I guess the SPORT lines are the way to go?
Noooo, I find this this theory so wrong. People should choose what they like best and feel like wearing frequently, the scents you enjoy wearing reflect your personality, it does not work the other way around, one can't force themselves to like a heavy scent just to project a more powerful character. The video helps with categorising some perfumes but the choice should be based on our own taste only, let's not enforce stereotypes any further.
Far too analytical. No such thing as a signature scent. Scent is based on ever changing emotions and totally subjective. I am bit of a chameleon and choose whatever I feel like on the day based on my mood and weather. Sure if you are a business man/woman and want to project a constant image yes pick a scent. But for personal use choose something that YOU like and emotionally connect to.....follow your heart there are no rules.
versace eros is disgusting it smells like lynx chocolate, montblanc individuel would be a better "sexy" option, but honestly barbershop scents are sexier and alpha, if your smelling floral or chocolaty at all you are a weird desperate male imo

my signature scent and my favorite is tom ford oud wood

Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue eau Intense - Alberto Morillas
Monika, what fragrance do you recommend to a guy, that's stranded on an island? :)
Oh no! Are you really? Virgin island water is pretty fitting 😊

Great Video & Topic! I often hear those words thrown around, “ Signature Scents” and your video gives a great perspective on it. I love your friendly soothing voice! Have a great weekend & may you please stay Safe!👍😎
Thanks Brian!
Hi can you do a video on Rasasi Hawas
Have you tried it? I bought a 10ml sample and quite liked it. I bought a bottle from fragrance net or fragrance x and it seems totally different and i dont care for it at all. I think it may be manufactured in a couple of different countries. If so, i got the bad one. Hope you have better luck.
@@dggydddy59 I bought my from amazon 2 times already and I get complements all the time so for me is been good
Plz review Acqua Di Gio Profumo.
It's so difficult not to fall in love with you. ☺️❤️

Grand Soir by Maison Francis Kurkdjian or something with oud by the same house.
@@AJ-fh4yl mancera oud lemon mint.
In this video I’m going to show you My “ Tips “
Lol .. I thought she said something else. 😉
Oohh. My god ur voice 😍
❤️👌❤️
My signature Nishane fan your flame
Hi Monika! One of Covid’s symptoms is the loss of smell, so you think this is for us to appreciate the greatness of what we have? Thanks for your great videos! Kisses from Spain 🇪🇸
That’s for sure! In this time I think every day about things I am great full for 😊 Have a great weekend!
Monika Cioch thanks so much, same for you! I realized from your video I’m in the Classy Person class, as I use both DHI and Dior Eau Sauvage Parfum. For a sporty person, I guess the SPORT lines are the way to go?
As there any other Monika?
Noooo, I find this this theory so wrong. People should choose what they like best and feel like wearing frequently, the scents you enjoy wearing reflect your personality, it does not work the other way around, one can't force themselves to like a heavy scent just to project a more powerful character. The video helps with categorising some perfumes but the choice should be based on our own taste only, let's not enforce stereotypes any further.
beautiful voice))) maybe you need to sing)))
Hey, Monika!
Tell me a douchebag fragrance for a guy with a sporty car, rebel attitude, but not dior sauvage!
My signiture scent is 1 Million.. go figure 😂
And the winner is...Marc Antoine Barrois Ganymede!
I'm thought of as stable and intelligent yet eccentric...
So....
✌️✨
Far too analytical. No such thing as a signature scent. Scent is based on ever changing emotions and totally subjective. I am bit of a chameleon and choose whatever I feel like on the day based on my mood and weather. Sure if you are a business man/woman and want to project a constant image yes pick a scent. But for personal use choose something that YOU like and emotionally connect to.....follow your heart there are no rules.
Why can’t you have a little of all traits
Damn youre hott lol i have 2 signature scent versace por homme and dng intenso
Please give me a shoutout! 😘
versace eros is disgusting it smells like lynx chocolate, montblanc individuel would be a better "sexy" option, but honestly barbershop scents are sexier and alpha, if your smelling floral or chocolaty at all you are a weird desperate male imo
Sorry but why complicate?
You a seksy...
Plz change the music ♥
I really wish you could speak English.
