Uugh! It used to be "when will she tell Rod she's not pregnant?" and now it's "when will she tell Allison about her father?" Why did I ever start watching this show? It's maddening, but I'm addicted!
The attorney representing Betty at her annulment hearing, Mr. McVeigh, is played by John Lasell, who is perhaps best known as Dr. Guthrie on Dark Shadows in 1967 during the supernatural phoenix storyline (episodes 160 to 185).
Is it just me that thinks Rodney had some responsibility about Betty losing the baby , it was Rodney driving. Wonder why the writers never wrote that in. As usual it's the woman's fault.
Back in the dark ages, that's how it was expressed, if a man wanted to have sex he would say "he wanted a lot of children" or in this case, "he didn't want children" - he didn't want sex with her.
@@denisewells4161 Exactly! I agree, but the question was 'did Rod say he never wanted children' when the attorney asked about it during divorce proceedings. Her answer was about children instead of sex! My comment was on how back 'in the day' people didn't say they didn't/did have sex, they said they didn't/ did want children. Just a funny play on words for the innocent age!

You know you have to tease the storyline a little bit 😊. Can’t wrap everything up in 30 minutes. Leave that to Ozzie and Harriet!
Oh dear Betty....😅
Yeah, Allison I bet you can't wait to see Betty's marriage annulment published so you can have Rodney all to yourself.
It's 4 degrees and snow covered and Betty is wearing pumps.

Calvin did die!! And he never learned the truth about his daughter's death. Sad :-(
or did he know the truth?
@@JANXDPDX He didn't want to know.
@@suki44883 He had to know! Why else was he like a cat on a hot tin roof when he was asked questions.
Paul, a college professor, didn't immediately call out for help, but he kept saying, "Father," didn't he? Did he want his father to die?
@@sheristewart3940 It certainly seems that Paul thought his life would be better w/o Calvin, doesn't it?

Did Rod really ever tell Betty he didn't want children?
Not in those words. She didn't know how to say he didn't want to have marital relations with her.

@@ginagray603 I never thought about it that way. Some people say don't want kids and have them by accident anyway. Who knows.
