Oh, it's even better- many people don't realize it but roosters crow ALL GODDAMN DAY. If the sun is up, they crow. Hell, in spring when they're feeling extra randy, a street light or bright moonlight will induce them to crow at night. I had a neighbor who had to keep their porch light off at night or their rooster would keep the whole neighborhood awake.
