LOTS of good with everything you did. Moving them to the ground improves everything. Less heat, better cooling, easier maintenance, easier to blow off "that one leaf" that will always kill a strings power. Having leaves stuck on a rooftop array sucks -- ie, having to climb up and remove them let alone general cleaning.
Hey Chris, Yes, I am very happy that I decided (at the last minute) to move them to the ground mount. I actually just finished replacing the garage roof (metal) a few days ago and it looks great. I would not want to be drilling 100 holes in it at this point. Also, I just like the accessibility to them on the ground. Easy to clean and monitor what's going on with them. The biggest advantage for me is that they are now producing a LOT more power. Thanks!
You should probably wait until the next day to check them. Cooling them makes a big difference too.
Yes, cooling also has a very significant effect on the power output for sure. I did wait about four hours before gathering the data. Cleaned them at 10am and measured around 2pm (I think) . It was done around Jan 2nd of 2024 in Florida. Thanks!

For future reference never use a pressure washer itll remove the coating that most solar panels have , also dont wash them with tap water unless you want calcium build up on them... yes it seems a little ridiculous but just some tips that might help 😊

Pressure washer is a bad idea dor panels
more importantly i will lose 10 % by them being on the roof. :D
