SF2 was absolutely one of the most ground breaking, gaming changing arcade games ever. Seeing this for the first time was mind blowing. I scrambled every opportunity to play this wherever I could... 7/11s, pizza places, arcades, etc. I don’t think that kind of gaming experience will ever quite be replicated again.

@Jakman char* TAS mean software _ task assisted gameplay ,it rewind every moves that you do ..if you got hit let say minute 01:15 by leg sweep then you rewind at 01:13 and do sweep guard ..it's a tired process, 10 minutes perfect gameplay could take 1 hour in reality

Old dude here who used to play this game in the early 90s at his home town mall's arcade. Almost unstoppable w Zangief because piledriver was almost impossible to block. Loved seeing friends and enemies alike spending multiple dollars trying to beat me on a game that cost me a single quarter

It was also set to hardest, as I saw the guy set it to the highest difficulty whenever they would power on the machine. He wasn't my best character by a longshot, but you have to be mega patient with him when you place the computer.

The only thing that bothered me about Street Fighter 2 is that they had 2 fighters 'Ken and Ryu' that were the exact same fighter, just with different hair color and karate gee color. It always made me think they lacked the imagination to come up with something different.

I got to admit that's pretty impressive I figured cigarette would tear that Russian up the Russian and the boxer are suckers for ankle kicks. Really a couple of other ones too but those two in particular. Of course sagat throwing his 7 ft tall fireballs is also a sucker for ankle kicks. If they didn't have that spinning fist I think zangief would be much easier. Before that he was simply a punching bag.
Come to thinking about it, if their health can be handicapped I’d love to inflict more punishment on them. Spinning pile driver, suplex, power bomb slam, pile driver, iron claw, toss, and much more.🤤
@@skytg7739 Honda. I finish the game with no difficulty with him. For me, it was Dhalsim first and Zangief second. With them it was very difficult to end the game. Dhalsim vs Vega or Dhalsim vs M.Bison, i nearly became crazy
Even in 2021 this game looks beautiful. The designers nailed the art style on these arcade games.
I also think this game has aged really well. So much so that there are still championships today.
