Tac Hacks - Tracer Tactical NVG Head Harness Helmet Pad Mod

Decided to add some extra padding to my tracer tactical nvg head harness, to alleviate forehead hot spots I experienced when using this system for extended durations.
Update: ‪@tracertactical‬ just released a thicker 10mm foam pad which may help alleviate the issues I had wearing this for longer durations, or perhaps I need to play with adjustment more. A larger boonie could alleviate pressure too and it is recommended to buy one a size up for using the nvg harness, which I haven’t tried yet but need to. I have found that I run it pretty tight regardless to keep everything secure.. gotta keep tinkering!

You will definitely need counter weights, I’m using an eod pouch. Also highly recommend the 4D tactical sof cap as a more comfy alternative, albeit more expensive. Use “hive20” for 20% off tho

Yo quick question, I installed a gessele rail on my Mws and my barrel is able to come off what can I do to fix that?

I’m assuming you’re using a stock barrel which is thinner than aftermarket barrel nuts, and causing your issue. The options are get an after market mws barrel which will have the proper width (kits can be had for $30-50) or get a mws barrel spacer adapter for $10-20 (c&c tax, others, just not the pts one)
