+baiafy Is it me or is it really sad how great the 90s were in comparison to now, even with thatcher and the never ending blackouts that we used to get. How are we supposed to pay to get into the clubs available to us today not to mention listen to the trash we have to call music nowadays. Its funny how many people long for the 90s and there always seams to be some kind of program about the 90s on t.v.
I sometimes feel like crying when I think about how great music and the dancescene were back then and how enormously much it sucks ass today. Fun days they were, really great times...
+Kei H this is not just to you but everyone on this thread... The hot 100 and the radio is not what todays music is.. Because of youtube we now have so much music genres to go through, and maybe you people would discover new great music if you don't always affiliate today's music with Justin Beiber or Drake or Skrillex and etc. So just cause the radio sucks, that means all of todays music sucks? You guys haven't even discovered Vaporwave or Indie Punk or Glitch H and the list of different shit thats out there is endless. Todays music is kinda like the nineties.. Except the radio focuses on the shit, its your job to discover what like. Much like buying a random cd from back in the nineties when you had little to no knowledge what you are getting yourself in to. Now all you gotta do is click the video and enjoy. there isn't any guilt of wasting money. if you don't like the song, dislike it and go on to the next song. But saying todays music is filled with shit that is just depressing is like me saying that all Nineties music was nothing but sad Pearl Jam songs and Hansen and a little bit of Monica in my life. Cut this generation some slack.. There is no genre's anymore and you won't find new and exciting music on the radio... Just cause a bunch of kids listenes to Justin Beiber doesn't mean everyone from this generation likes Justin Beiber
This is the musical equivalent to uncorking a bottle of sparkling wine! It pops, makes a massive bang and then it just oozes out nothing but pure, bubbly happiness!
if anyone needs a cheesy 90s dance playlist on spotify to take you to the '90s in Europe, i gotchu: open.spotify.com/playlist/1Nu3KzrDZIQaSZdVccypu4?si=6K_B7gtrRBSKYQyFvHGq3A ;) enjoy
Aaah this takes me back to school discos. There seemed to be an abundance of good dance/house/techno in the charts back in the 90s....... What a tune!! :) :)
I really fell in love with this tune back in the day, it's a real feel good vibe when the world was a happier better place. Whenever I'm feeling all fucked off today I throw this on and I'm transported back to a happier place and time. The modern world is a miserable shit hole we now live in. 90s love 4eva.
I went to Gran Canaria in May 1995 and took the single on tape which I listened on repeat on my Sony Walkman, over and over and over again! Probably listened to it over 50 times that week. Mad!
I emailed the singer (Victoria) recently to thank her for the memories. She replied telling me how much she enjoyed those times. She's a university lecturer in Jazz in Australia now.
Nothing looks the same in the light, standing here right by your side. We're two of a kind, you're on my mind Love will see us through. When the music flows, inhibition goes. It make me feel like loving you.
Close your eyes and imagine a Ford Orion 1600i with RS Turbo wheels & a 12 inch sub in the boot driven by a lad with an undercut wearing a naff naff jacket. He keeps his baccy in a smiley face tin and the portable CD walkman on a little bracket plugged into his car head unit has a Dreamscape CD on permanent rotation. That's how fucking 90s this tune is.
This song reminds me of clubbing in Orleans in Birmingham omg i miss those days so much. The tunes were proper like this one.It was free keep fit haha 😂
Haha I think da time machine is rembering and going back to the feeling and the vibe of good music.. Wtf how da fk did we forget about these good vibes.. Good music is never dead and gone just not played anymore
Today's music is about having an attitude, or a sultry voice, whereas music in the 90's was about just having fun and enjoying your life. Today's music is just pure shite.
This is a absolutly awesome track! When i heard it for the first time i was sure this gonna be a alltime favourite to me! And its still! YOU SURE DO BABY!
I turned 21 in 1995; remember hearing this all the time in the club I went to. I would give almost anything to relive those days.

+Kayleigh Doore You are aware that thatcher was not PM in the 90s right?? and that rolling blackouts were the 70s??.
+baiafy I turned 17 in 1995. Damn! Those were some good days!
+baiafy do it..
John Major
I sometimes feel like crying when I think about how great music and the dancescene were back then and how enormously much it sucks ass today. Fun days they were, really great times...

Spot on - I miss the 90s :(
In solidarity with you, Greatest! Music was life in those times, helped us through a lot, rather people too put life in the music.

Why don't they make this kind of music these days?
+Ordinary Man What is so hard about putting a half decent bassline in modern pop?
+Ordinary Man High energy music was lost to profit driven soulless music.
Today's music is about having an attitude, or a sultry voice, whereas music in the 90's was about just having fun and enjoying your life. Today's music is just pure shite.
