Some of it is pretty damn sarcastic but thats why it's so awesome. He's really commenting on how many problems we have in a vale of egotism. But then again, at the same time it really is optimistic about humans ability to think while still not forgetting how imperfect we are (the imperfect is hidden in the sarcasm)
I always have to listen to Watsky poems/songs twice, one to laugh my ass off and the other to actually get what he is saying. Then I have to listen it a few more times every chance I get cause it's some amazing shit.
@annnaclaire Are you kidding me? I respect your opinion, but this has been one of his best ones. He uses sarcasm as a technique to convey that humans are overly self absorbed, which is quite clever.

@noremac1392 a crippled kid falling down the steps might be funny to some people, but laughing is not QUITE the appropriate thing to do... you have to admit some of the things the audience said were mind-numbingly stupid. But yeah, this was amazing nonetheless.

There are moments that are funny and u do laugh,and there are others were u realize he is actually saying something powerful (giving a message in a sarcastic form).
i love how most of the kids have no idea of his sense of humor..i mean like, what he actually is trying to say..like how he speaks sarcastically, what his real message is...they just laugh at the random words and lines..Man our youth has gotten so stupid and narrow minded... Look at the real message, not just laugh all the time cuz he said unicorn (just an example)...
