One question regarding tackling: I am still not really getting the concept behind "get stuck in" as a TI on the one hand and "tackle harder" as a PI. From my point of view both do the same thing, don't they? Is there a difference? Or is it just: make the whole team tackle harder (using TI) or individual players (using PI)?
I've never found a need to use player instructions. Be interesting to see if this video changes my mind. My current tactic is a 4231 with dms, wing backs on attack with an inside forwards left and inside winger on the right. Dm next to a dlp and an am behind an advanced forward
I find that player instructions can be the cherry on the top of the cake sort of thing. Tactics without them can absolutely work fine and do but it can solve problems you might come across and can add that extra edge! 🤝
@LewisH90 I find that when a tactic works its more a case of luck so because of that lack of inside and out understanding when I try player instructions it tips the balance into not working
I very expirence play and advice player who dont understand FM ,try understant complex by FM layers to layers,if trying to much once ,dont understand nothing.My advice roles and dutys first
Please can you do a video on how to setup FM, as a beginner. I get overwhelmed with the amount of emails I get for absolutely everything. I’ve spent like a full day before I’ve even got to about 2 matches. Do people just make tactics and go on holiday until the end of the season, make transfers and repeat or do people actually manage game to game through an entire season? I don’t understand how people have the time for that. Takes me days to get anywhere
I have a video on how to set up your FM game and also one on what to do on day one of the game. After that just continue and respond to emails and take all the tips from the channel and you should be good. I don’t ever holiday as I might miss something but as you get into the swing of things you will fly through that stuff quicker every time. Any questions at all just reply here and I’ll reply to them. 👊
AMC in support with press less often could work, you could put him in MC as a central midfielder on attack so he still gets forward but starts a bit deeper?
Really good video, man! I've taken my team from a mid table team to one of the best Teams in Europe. Now I struggle against worse teams in the League who play defensive. Do you got any tips for that? Maybe that could be a good idea for the video.

My advanced forward is always offside and my midfielders are making matters worst by not passing through balls and when they do the player they are passing to is offside and by the way the player I am talking about as the run offside trap stuff any help on how to solve this?

That last tip about player dynamics - Signed four or five players in January window and had a dip in form. Never thought about that.
Yeah it has a massive effect, it’s why I now in January especially will sign 1 or 2 maximum if we are doing really well to not rock the boat!

I could do a video for that no problem but two things I suggest is lower the tempo and take counter attack off.

I do want him to go inside once he has it but whilst he’s waiting for it I want him to keep wide!
