Ohhhh at last somebody who tells the truth. Tactic familiarity is paramount for the players to execute on the pitch. The more, the better. That’s the reason why you cannot change, like some folks do, mentality, passes and rhythm, lines of engagement and attacking width. You could raise the line of defense with no impact on familiarity, though.
I do enjoy watching your videos, we are very similar FM players! As your team cohesion was quite low to begin with you would have also benefited from Team Bonding sessions alongside Match Review in your training calendar, I always like to do this the day after a match as it doesn’t affect them physically. Training the specific role I agree helps massively, I would say it’s the quickest way for a player to get comfortable with the role or a new role you’re asking him to play. I also like to make sure I have some mentoring setup even if you just ask your assistant to sort, I “think” this also increases Team Cohesion as well as bringing the core social groups inline and reduce the amount of isolated players.
Yeah team bonding is brilliant, can only have 1 a week now which is more realistic! I like the idea around mentoring, I hope it works that way as it would make sense!
This is such a valuable video i did see it a few months ago but i had already reached my first game of the season, i am still in the first season with my current save at Tottenham am in early January, because i wasnt able to apply these tips, i am in very early January, ive had a few injuries but nearly all my players are fatigued and its taking a lot of rotation and also because im in europe, busy fixture list i dont get to do the training i want to do to improve my players, 2 games a week, so when i get a day or 2 i find im having to just select rest, but then after another match they are getting jaded again and again. I should add im new to Fm mostly played this edition. Lewis can you offer any advice at all, I doubt there is but is there anything i can do to take the sting out of my players Fatigue? For instance when i get a free week? i know its probably to late, lol, anyway Great Video again i shall certainly be selecting 8 friendlies at the start of next season as well as selecting 'Heavy' on pre-season preparation. cheers
@@jimmysmith07what could help during those busy periods is if you’re winning comfortably then ease up off the trigger pressing and high pressure, time waste and take the tempo down
@@Quan367 Cheers mate, i will do just that, i have been trigger pressing a lot, and actually recently i have changed the tempo. Lol. Thanks for the advice!
@@jimmysmith07 yeah a lot of the UA-cam tactics with the high line, counter pressing stuff is good because they simulate the entire season. When you got to manager these players yourself it’s a big difference. But glad to help because I was having trouble myself
Hi Lewis your guides are very helpful and I admire the way you play fm. Do you believe that in every fm series there are only certain meta formations/tactics or can one create their own meta tactic. Also do you believe that in fm some roles are more effective than the others like all meta tactics always use AF.?
Start of the season physical and team bonding/match tactics/match practice to get everything ready, then in the season, overall, outfield, possession and tactical to cover everything!
I can't believe the income from friendlies playing a lower level team. I am in Service B and I don't get anything more than $30,000 for a small rep team

i think the only thing that i can do is select 'Recovery' a few times in my training schedule?

There are definitely roles that perform more consistently and formations that do too but I think most things can work if you tweak it enough!
Thank you, very helpful. What training would you favor when your lower league team has four slots per week?

So how do u do it with rotation etc. Do u change your set pieces each game as u rotate?
What do you mean mate?
Oh damn, first i ever saw/heard of match review. Gonna use it
👊
good stuff
To be fair, Davo in real life has no clue hahah
Hahaha really! 😂

Yeah it’s never happened to me before either, didn’t make sense!
🤩 Promo*SM
What a cheap trick to get me to watch your videos (using depor). I wouldve watched it anyway
Haha foolproof plan!

You’re subbed now and that’s all that matters! 🤝
