My Grandma was Beatrice May Leavitt from Michigan 1903-1974. Her Grandpa was a Union soldier in the civil war ,The American line goes back to Deacon John Leavitt ,He is in the Wikipedia and his son Moses married Dorthy Dudley,( The Grandaughter of Gov. Thomas Dudley)

My mum would be 95 if she was alive , My Grandsd whom I never met was a Quarryman my Grandma lived with us after they left Levitt, they were all relicated in Prefab houses on what was rhen known as the camp at Warmsworth on Sheffield Road I think all the residents went there then were rehoused in the council houses that were built on Lords Head Lane, they left around 1953
Great filming...........Memories of a bygone era.
Great to see, my family were Gills and lived there when the 1851 Census was taken. Their name was Gill and John the father was a Stone mason
All fenced off now !
I walk my dog round there, I didn't know it was once a village, very interesting.
