StratoLauncher IV Ultimate Upgrade Kit Assembly Instructions

The StratoLauncher IV Ultimate Upgrade Kit is comprised of 4 components: mini ball valve, Q-Release M plug, barbed fitting, and Q-Release connector. Installing this kit on the StratoLauncher IV Deluxe model will upgrade it to the StratoLauncher IV Ultimate model. This will enable connecting to a tank sprayer, which will fill your rocket with water quickly while mounted on the launcher. The StratoLauncher IV Ultimate Upgrade Kit can be installed on the standard StratoLauncher IV model to add this water fill system enhancement.

We recommend a 2 gal. (8 liter) tank sprayer (see link below):
Any tank sprayer will work, but this style has some nice features like a wide footprint so it doesn’t fall over, a pressure relief valve, builds up good pressure, but it doesn’t take much to force the water into the bottle, only about 10 pumps. A 2 gal. tank will yield 30+ launches if you are using the right amount of water, meaning only 1 cup and only fill to the score mark on the center stainless steel tube. Adding more water does not increase the height, but rather the extra water swirls around inside the bottle before exiting thus causing the rocket to be out of balance and it veers off rather than flying straight.

Alright so I have a problem the orange connecter the thing that connects the rocket and the launcher. When I put the black nozzle in the Orange connector I need to use a lot of force to seperate them therefore the rocket only fly about 5-10 metres. Do you know why?

However, based on the limited info you provided; it sounds like the black clamp-on cable stop is too tight around the orange sleeve on the hose Q-Release. This orange sleeve should move freely up and down without binding. The clamp should sit in the middle of the sleeve on the gray area which is dished out enabling the clamp to grab onto the sleeve. Loosen up this clamp and the nozzle should pop in and out with ease. Below are a couple of videos that should help:

@@StratoFins Thank you but i tired taking the whole clap off and it still is binding so you recommend i get a new Q Release.
