- Texas EquuSearch founder Tim Miller describes the horrific moments him and his search team found the body of a missing 8-year-old Houston girl who drowned after getting stuck in a pool pipe at a Houston hotel.
Tim Miller is an angel! After the murder of his daughter, he dedicated his life in helping other parents find missing children. I can't think of a more selfless act. What a wonderful man and a blessing to everyone. The world is a better place because of him.

Tim Miller who is not a paid detective and a self-made investigator and single-handedly started Texas Equisearch is doing MORE for this City and the State of Texas than any HPD organization does. This man is unsung Hero and truly a gift to this city. I have so much respect for him and sincere sympathy for his story and cause. Thank you, sir. So sad for this little girl, its tragic. May she rest in peace and may her family find peace again.

@@mariagaucin5507 Sadly it wouldn't have made a difference it was the poor company or the hotel's fault, there's only a limited time to do cpr so even if they had known where she went it would've taken too much time to open up the pipes and get her out, unless the pool had an age or height requirement then it would have been on the parents.

This guy is an American hero. He’s been involved in so many rescues. Unfortunately they don’t all end well.
I LOVE TIM MILLER! This man has been so honest, genuine, and transparant. He doesn't hold back with information like a lot of other people have been doing and he's smart.

My heart aches for this little child’s parents and loved ones. I pray they find the comfort that comes from the Lord as they grieve the loss of their little girl. I hope they always visualize her in heaven-where she is, right now she’s laughing, playing with other children, and seeing Jesus, angels, and other beautiful, wondrous things. Trust in Jesus.❤️🙏🏻

His daughter Laura was found, along with two other victims of a serial killer. His daughters killer has never been caught.

You can just tell everytime he finds a child no longer alive, its like losing his own daughter all over again and again. Thats how dedicated and passionate he is to finding all the precious kids. Motels like to hire the cheapest pool maintenance companies, and most of the time do their own maintenance.
There is obviously negligence in this case since there’s a federal law requiring all pools to have anti entrapment grates on all pipes.
My prayers go to the little girl and her family.
Yeah i mean pipes in pools? What pool was she in that had a pipe large enough that an 8 year old would fit? All pipes should have gratings and covers. And its also common knowledge that pool drains at the bottom are dangerous...but where was this pipe? For crying out loud

@@blueorangeblossom all it takes is the twisting of two wires together to change the rotation of the pump. It was either a very inexperienced person or very experienced person that just made a mistake. Unfortunately, mistakes happen everyday.
How many kids have died from uncovered pool suction?! Abigail Taylor, disemboweled 2007, later died of complications years later, her injury and the death of Virginia Graeme Baker, 2002, caused several state & federal laws to be changed, including the passing of the Virginia Graeme Baker Pool and Safety Act. This is just a tragedy that never should have happened 😢😢

The size of the pipe was about 12 or 16 inches. Regardless if it was a suction or a return line or even if it was a lazy river no pipes are supposed to be uncovered.
I know, I work with pools and water features.
What ever happened to checking things for safety or proper care after installing pumps/parts ? This pool company needs to be sued out of existence

Maybe I’m incredibly naive, but how does a poor child get in such a pipe? Like he said-couldn’t do it on her own and so far into the pipe. What mechanism could do this? I heard the explanation, but wouldn’t both pipes have grates covering them?
@@alison5009 he said one didn't have a grate on it .....and the pipe had some kind of suction action on it.
@@alison5009Apparently one wasn’t. Sounded to me, and anyone correct me if I am wrong, that the water was flowing the wrong way from what was intended and blew the grate off. When they discovered the problem and reversed the pump, there now suction in the pipe that had lost the grate. There should have been a thorough inspection of the every inch before children, or adults, were allowed anywhere near that area.
Sadly, all the money in the world can’t replace that precious child but it is the only thing that the justice system can do. And, obviously, the pool company should be held responsible as well as the hotel management. If it took that long to get a maintenance person out there is a dire emergency, the hotel must have known something was wrong. This is a VERY hard way to learn how important maintenance is wherever people live or congregate.
My heart aches for the mother and the rest of the family. I have 7 year old identical twin granddaughters and can’t even imagine how hard this is.

My heart breaks & goes out to the family of this little girl and to Equisearch for aiding them in finding her. Tim, you and your group are angels! 🤍 This happened to a friend of my brothers but in a delta and a pump used from a farmer. They were just out for a family day on their boat wake boarding. Horrible tragedy. You just can’t believe things like this can happen.
What a tragic story. So sorry for the family and firemen and police who help recover her body. Bless the little girl, shes in Heaven now where nothing can hurt her.

I stayed at this hotel and went to the bar alone. I was over served and on my way back to my room fell backwards and hit my head on the metal bar in the elevator. I couldn’t get up. I have a high tolerance for alcohol and so immediately thought something wasn’t right. I eventually got up and made it to my room but had to add another night to my stay because I couldn’t get out of bed. When I eventually left after another day, I left everything I’d put in the closet behind. I realized this almost immediately and called the hotel to have them hold it. They had someone check, came back and said nothing was there. It wasn’t until I spoke to the manager and mentioned being over served etc. that magically my items were found. When I returned a week later to collect everything, they knew who I was before I spoke, it’s like they’d been shown the elevator tape. Something isn’t right at this hotel and this is just beyond heartbreaking. They need to be held accountable!

Oh my goodness! I actually believe your story is very important to THIS story. Please tell someone...just throw it out there...put the bug in someone's ear. That's all you could do but you should do it because I believe you and feel it has something to do with this. There are entire crews of bad people that somehow find their way to work together and continue their shenanigans...

I think it was starting to get gruesome and not something family should hear over the airwaves..
He shut him down when he said nothing could have been done to save this little girl (even if any of the owners would have bothered to even show up). I’m guessing they didn’t want him commenting or implying who might have responsibility here. He looked like a lawyer.
The sadness in his eyes speaks volumes. Our Lord works through this lovely man and I pray he eases his soul burdened with what he must see and deal with, I cannot imagine. God bless him and may God be close and near for the family.
