I like sitting outside on my patio, so that narrows down when its comfortable out. Well, last night it was a breezy 75 and I reached deep in the cellar and pulled out a BA Narwhal from 2020. It was SAAAAmooooth. Nice review. CHEERS !!!
I'm glad you enjoyed it, and I completely agree that it could be a great entry point for those who might be nervous about chili peppers in beer; the original version of this (it's been a few years, so I'm going from memory) had a higher level of heat, and I think the maple's biggest role was in tamping some of that down, even if the maple flavor itself isn't the most dominant note. sounds like mexican cake but even stronger. Total Wine usually carries fat orange cat products so hopefully they'll carry this one.
