Great world cup beatiful sticker pictures of great players
I did have this album , I sold it in the early days of Ebay along with my Espana '82 & Italy '90 albums. Wish I still had them but they funded my moving from the UK to New Zealand

I believe the sticker albums were produced a good few months prior to the tournament before the official squads were announced. So Panini were basically having an "Educated guess" as to who would be in the squads.
Kenny Dalglish ended up getting injured prior to the tournament and didn't make the Scotland squad but he's in the sticker album
Papin was in the France squad for this tournament

The 86 World Cup was the first one I remember taking a real interest in as a kid. Loved the 1990 World Cup though

I seem to recall that Denmark's Preben Elkjaer was a specialist in outrageous long-range shooting and scoring. Some amazing goals by him. ⚽️ 🥅

It says everything about that Argentina side. This guy when talking about Argentina he mentions Diego Maradona & no one else. Fact is that was a very good Argentina side with no really big star names. Even now no one can mention any of the other Argentina players. Diego Maradona never scored in the final. That was down to the other players. 🇦🇷
I'm not a fan of Argentina and couldn't care less about that side. I'm an England fan and as such am only interested in the England team and players... all I do remember about that Argentinian side was that Maradona cheated to beat England by handballing it into the goal.
Hello mate, I recently bought a Diego maradonna from this WC however I cannot tell if it is fake or not. I am new to sticker collecting but the seller is assuring me that the maradonna sticker should not be self adhesive? The sticker I have bought appears to just be card? Can you tell me what it should look/feel like?
They're all stickers mate with a peelable back to them, definitely not a card which you then glue down. The clue is in the name Panini STICKERS. They're very thin as you'd expect a sticker to be - I can't really describe them as anything more than stickers.
