The three films, Brides of Blood, Mad Doctor of Blood Island, and Beast of Blood, were produced by John Ashley and directed by Eddie Romero and part of the Filipino cycle of low budget exploitation films produced in the 1960's and 70's.
Starring John Ashley, the vivacious Beverly Hills aka Beverly Powers, buxom Angelique Pettyjohn, and alluring Celeste Yarnall, the blood island trilogy remains popular to this day. A few more films are being planned by director Brian Yuzna.
