Reanimation album gave a incredible "rebirth" to the original songs which already are great by themselves... For sure, one of the best albums ever...
I had to get a rental car about 15 years ago and found a ripped CD in the glove box, it was Reanimation. Mind was blown... I've loved them since their beginning, going on 40 now. First concert I ever took my son to a decade ago. I'm so sick about Chester, f%$*&!! tragic.
I did this in Dallas Texas =D prob not you but I hope whoever did it to you left it on purpose like I did haha.
I was 6 listening to them qhen they came out, because of my dad. 6 years after that the only concert I went to with my dad was Linkin Park, Hoobastank, P.O.D.
I still remember the morning after going downstairs my son said "Mom, you know Chester Bennington?" And immediately my heart broke because I knew, I just knew, and I said "No, not him." and he said "Yeah mom, he committed suicide." Christ Cornel and then Chester Bennington. Why? I'm still sick about it too. RIP beautiful souls.
their best song ever. I never understood the chorus though, "even when you're not with me, I'm with you" - then I fell in love and finally knew, what he was singig of. This song is just sooo deep, it is about a struggeling relationship, it is about love and hate and how you just can not step away from a person that hurts you, because you just love her to much.
The music is fantastic, the voices and distortions fit the mood and the rap-part in the end just is the perfect topping.

This album is underrated as fxck. I remember buying the CD and it opened my mind up to music genres I didn’t even know about before. The Hybrid Theory album helped my mental health. Then I discovered ‘Dreams In Digital’ by Orgy, Fu Manchu, prodigy, house music...

There is already a second Reanimation it's called Recharged, but it's not that Good, the only Songs i liked are "A Light That Never Comes", "A Light That Never Comes" remix by Rick Rubin and "Victimized" and "Castle of Glass" remix by Mike Shinoda.

glad im not fake, cuz when they FIRST came out, i bought hybrid theory, meteora, reanimation, and minutes to midnight i would of kept freakin buying, but they changed, and not for the better (IN MY OPINION).
I meant in terms of loyalty. It's taking advantage by not buying the music and instead just listening on their UA-cam channel.

I heard this band for the first time almost 20 years ago and it's still somehow pertinent to my life and the things I'm going through. When I can't find an answer to what I'm faced with, I come here and listen to his words. He saved my life, even if he never even knew who I was and I wish to god that there was something anyone could have done to save his.

Random story: 12 year old me, having argued with my parents about something stupid last night, went to school at 6am by myself, walking in the middle of the dark. Ignoring my sisters' SMS telling me that I am an idiot for going alone, I plug in my MP3 player and music starts playing. Then I'm struck by this song, since a friend of mine put some LP music on it. As I'm reaching school the song ends, and since then I'm in love with it. 15 years later, it still holds so many memories of people that won't come back to me no matter how hard I try, but I still want them by my side, even if they don't.

I remember being blown away by this album when I was in school. Someone let me borrow it and I kinda never gave it back. Still, I went out and bought my own copy eventually. So many great tracks. Would've been great to get another Reanimation but this one still bangs after all these years.
