This is a grossly overlooked album. I'm not the biggest fan of remixes, but Reanimation is a perfect example of how to remix an album! This is also the first CD I've ever owned and these songs throw me so far back in time, it's unreal.
amen
So true
Our man Mike Shinoda did that, amazing, on Point, so ahead, just Big respect for LP
Riding on the bus with every skip. :3
2002!!!! What a time
it’s sad that most people don’t even know this album exists
I DO 🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾
Been listening to LP since my 11 (I'm 25 now) and I've heard many songs of this album before, I just never realized it's a legit album xD 14 years later I find out :)
Been listening since early 2000 35 now
I remember going online as an 11 year old to the then linkin park official website and being captivated by the audio of this track. Reanimation was the catalyst for my musical taste today.
I bought this album as soon as i saw it on the shelf years ago when it was a paper cover cd
Salute to the band that helped a generation get through a difficult time in their lives. I will love LP beyond every genre, beyond every album. To me they are more than musicians, they are friends who where there during the tough times.
Well said
I agree
agree !
Totally agreed
I literally feel exactly the same, they were there when i was alone
'When I look into your eyes, there's nothing there to see..
Nothing but my own mistakes, staring back at me.' These lines...just chilling.
I am the one who knocks
I feel sad everytime I've heard this song, because it was happened with me almost the time.
I have been there....
a daughter.
Everything falls apart, even the people who never frown eventually break down.
R.I.P Chester. 😞
What? What happened?
My world all day!
Anthony Bartholomew how do you not know?
Anthony Bartholomew something which is just too hard to cope up with, even after more than 6 months since it happened
RIP Chester
This is a rare example of a remix that is WAY MUCH BETTER than the original. Great song!
concordo com você 👏👏👏
Totally agreed!
LP LP LP LP LP LP LP... chester bennington
I feel that, most every song on the album is better than the originals
Nah not really
That transition from the bridge to Chester at 3:26 is really beautiful. This is probably my favorite track of the album, along with Krwlng
I like how you listen to music, and the things you notice. I absolutely love such transitions from one vocalist to another as if nothing changes.
At this part, I always realize that how Chester has a brilliant voice 💜
Asking whyyyy
Damn awesome
likewise!
That spot never fails to give me goosebumps
Glad I still have the Reanimation CD all these decades later.
I lost mine. Thank God for UA-cam.
Nice man. Mine got stolen when I was hijacked back in 2017. Got my car back but my original Reanimation and Hybrid Theory CDs were gone
@@menaceIIsociety187 That sucks
This song is honestly on another level
(Thanks for the likes everyone, R.I.P. Chester)
ikr
@Pyrotechnic Entertainment: Me too -_-
Pyrotechnic Entertainment an adrenaline rush mostly
This song has been on some type of MP3 player of mine for 15 years. Walkman, Apple, Samsung....you name the music trend of the time, this song came along with me.
NO BRO YOUR SO HIGH TO THIS SONG
2024 and I’m still rocking this. RIP Chester
Same brother✊🏻
my favorite part of this song is the harmony Chester does in the chorus. when Chester says "why I stayed" there's the echo behind that. and the harmony and melody of the echo is so beautiful... god. it's breathtaking to me. if I could make music in a studio, it'd sound so much like this. linkin park creates the kind of music that i would definitely create. that's why the connection I have with them is damn deep. it's like they're mind readers. it's insane
brian lee It gives you chills till the spine
Dude I actually know exactly what you mean lol
Same here. When he says "i've lied to you" it hits me in the heart...
This album was beautifully produced and mixed
I remember always getting chills at that moment in the song back when it came out. I didn't know enough about music to understand why, just kept going back.
"the sacrifice is never knowning.." You guys kept me from a harsh fate more than a decade ago. god bless
Most remixes are usually crap but the songs on Reanimation are great
+Ben Brinton Ikr? Some of the reanimation songs are even better than the original.
KRWLING especially
this is because they have remixed their own songs ;)
+Joey Money not remixed! it's reanimated, recreated.
This is probably their best album overall.
This song just transcends everything. I listened to this song on repeat when this album was released and I just knew it hit me somehow. It took me almost 20 years to be in the position to actually understand it. This song is somehow so specific to its Era and yet so absolutely timeless.
Same
everything falls apart, even the people who never frown eventually break down.
Everything has to end.. You'll soon find we're out of time, left to watch it all unwind.
These lyrics are on another god damned level.
Man, I love these guys.
Chorus is only thing that matters here :3
The sacrifice of hiding in a lie.
@@frankman20 The sacrific of never knowing,
Why, I stay, when you just push, away?
Probably my favourite linkin park song, it's just so so freaking good!!
Queen
So much emotion in this track... amazing. Timeless is a perfect word
agreed
The Best since 2002
I prefer the live version of Live in Texas, when Chester screams it give me goosebumps, this is a tremendous track!!!
Rest in peace. Reanimation will always be one of my favorite albums of all time. Thanks for the music.
indeed..
word!
Still listening in 2024!
RIP Chester. You didn't deserve any of the suffering but I hope you have found peace and happiness. You will be extremely missed.
This song plays in my head all the time, and inspires me to write. I'm gonna create something legendary from the strength of this music.
Beautiful comment, my friend. Have a wonderful life.
@XToni1992 exactly! Was wondering, what if this guy has made a masterpiece it's been three years :D
How’s it going for you now?
I look forward to reading and or seeing your master work 😌
RIP Chester, you f****** legend...
he was a Beast ! rip and total respect !

RIP Chester. My favorite Linkin Park song, criminally underrated.
mine too...((
mine too
definitely agree
More than 15 years of listening this song for the first time and I still feel that magic only comes from a few songs I've listened during my teenage years.
"Even the people who never frown eventually break down" Thanks Chester for helping me get through my childhood.
And this ladies and gentlemen is why you HAVE to love LInkin Park. Rip Chester. Always in our hearts
It hurts to listen to this. We love you Chester!
I remember being at medical school listening to this album... Studying, when I was on my second year. Now I am a doctor for 10+
Damn...forgot how good this was. Nostalgia overload
Trevor R. This
YESSSS also Undeniable is my favorite Logic mixtape :)
Words cannot describe how truly and purely beautiful this song is along with the entire album. I swear Linkin Park had the biggest moment of clarity when they created this. Lightening in a bottle.
If anyone ever asks me about my favorite song of all time - this is it! I remember listening to this single track on repeat for hours when the album came out and I still do it every now and then. Especially with good quality headphones.
me to man
This album was years ahead of its time. Masterpiece
The sacrifice of hiding in a lie
"I've lied to you
This is the last smile that I'll fake for the sake of being with you"
Wow I've listened to Pushing Me Away thousands of times and i never knew he says the sacrifice of hiding in lie. U can hear it clearly on this verison
@Jared Jams Same
Reverse psychology's failing miserably. It's so hard to be left all alone. Telling you is the only chance for me. There's nothing left but to turn and face you.
these lyrics hit really hard for me, and the instrumentals are so well done. there's so much emotion from chester. rest in peace.
You can never go wrong with LP.. Reanimation is absolute masterpiece, yet so underrated
He had the extraordinary gift of being able to truly show himself through the music. That is what I appreciated the most. It was so piercing and clear that you couldn't help but feel it speaking to something deep inside, somehow, regardless of how different his life was from your own. You suddenly understood him completely... and right then you knew him as you would a friend.
Thank you, Chester.
Honestly can't believe Chester is gone.
Dee Cee it's almost been a week and I still want to fuckin cry because of it
You and me both! I've been thinking about it everyday.
Dee Cee ikr I can't stop thinking about it 😭
I_bombhills me too. Miss him so much. Its so hard I can't find the words to express it.
Its devastating that hes gone ofc one of our idols for struggling and yet keeps going now hes gone we got no more idols like him
Even the people who never frown eventually break down...
Rest in peace Chester your voice will continue to resonate in my head.
Screams like a demon, heart like an angel. Legend! RIP Chester 🙏🏽
Definitely the best LP song. They are my favorite band, and this is my favorite song of theirs. The depth and emotion of this has brought me to tears, and many repeats. Thank you, LP.
Pushing me away is on of my absolute favorits of all time! And this Remix is so unbelivable! I listen to it for 15 years since I am 12 and I will listen to it for the next 40 years. THANK YOU Linkin Park for making my life better. RIP Chester!
Best remix? yes
not remix. recreation, reanimated.
POV: it is 2003. You just got home from school and you're stressed out. You start up Diablo 2 and jump online to play with your friends. Linkin Park is playing in your headset.
Those were simpler, happier days.
Pushin Me Awey(Studio version), Pushin Me Away (Piano version), P5hng Me A*wy=all these versions are sooo good ...legendary song!!!
I have been listening to this album since I was 16 years old. I'm 33 now. One of the best remixed albums out there. I'm Telling you.
I love Linkin Park so much. They helped me get through so much back in high school. I had the biggest crush on Chester and Mike. I was obsessed with them and hoped I would eventually see them in concert. I remember when I heard what happened to Chester I was crushed. He was always one of my favorite vocalists. It’s hard to listen to their music without thinking about Chester and how deep some of the words are that make sense now. ❤️💔
it is SO deppresive yet kind of beautiful although raw (but also I know that you guys polished it like a gem), can't comprehend it nor express.
This track is majestic.
Such an underrated song. Absolutely stunning. All that tension.
Wow, the Taproot guy seems so....calm in this song.
Taproot?
The guest singer is from the band Taproot
HAHA YES I KNEW IT! I couldn't find it anywhere, but I know that voice!!! Taproot has some calm songs though
If you listen to more alternative, look up "Birthday" by Taproot, and if you listen to more hard rock look up "Poem". Their vocalist has a really good voice.
I always wondered if that was the singer from taproot. If so always very refreshing to see how many different artist worked with Linkin Park. RIP Chester all your work has touched us all
This album was my intro to Linkin Park, and I owe that to my older brother. Every time I listen to these songs I can't help but tear up a bit. RIP bro.
One of the BEST reanimation version . Rip Chester we LOVE you.
I was so young listening to linkin park and now that I'm 27, I understand the depth of the songs and it makes them so much better even years later
Probably most creative and flawless song LP has ever done. Both lyrically and melodically.
Listening at least once a year! Still this lyrics says the real truth... R.I.P. Chester. Thanks for this heart touching song, thanks for giving this living things(songs) to live.
How I love Pushing me away... Every version of it is just perfect, words, music... This voice that sooth and hurt at the same time...
I bought this album with my very first paycheck 17 years ago. I still absolutely love this album!
When I look into your eyes there's nothing there to see, nothing but my own mistake staring back at me.
david pittet 😭😭😱
This has happened to me before it's not a good feeling to have but it's a great quote 😢
asking whyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
@@imadeus_ww the sacrifice of hiding in a lie
I always had this feeling since the first time I Listen to this song, it brought so much of unpleasant heavy feeling, felt of guilty and sense of failure, its so depressive, and now after Chester's Death, it even felt a far way heavier and more depressive than it ever was.
Miss You very much Chester.
Dave RedNight that's why I stopped listening to LP after Meteora. They made me feel too much of what I was trying to not feel anymore
you're right, it does sound heavier. I can feel Chester's pain and sorrow. He suffered as much as i did growing up, if not more so.
I agree wholeheartedly. the energy in this song is so meaningful, especially now. and I'm sorry to be *"that guy"* but I'm pretty sure depressive isn't actually a word.
@@5qu1g_ "Depressive" actually is a word and not even an uncommon one. How did you get the idea that it would not be a real word?
@@manuelrogus2833 I looked it up, and yes, depressive is indeed a word, but it is not at all useable in the contect of the comment. Depressive by definition is someone who is diagnosed with depression. Therefore, describing a song as such makes absolutely 0 sense in any context. The word that was meant to be used was "Depressing," and although I was indeed wrong about the actually existence of the word, I stand by my previous argument that the word choice was completely incorrect
one of the best songs... love it so much heard it so many years and sleep to this song and another lp songs.. so sorry for chester.. so hard..
Still a hot damn masterpeice
This song... I can't even explain 💔
Linkin Park heals my depression
the album that really turned me on to LP as a kid... the feels the notalgia the art... ive always wanted to do an album like this...
We Here 2023 and beyond..most underrated version..by far The Best 👌
Yoooo who else feels like this is an absolute masterpiece? I love this entire album front to back, but this song specifically stands out to me as underrated and undervalued. Everything about this just oozes emotion and purpose!
The lyrics to this song mean so much to me. I went through a bad relationship and this song got me through it.
This is the heart and soul of Reanimation.
One of the best songs by LP to be remixed and on the Reanimation album
Let's pray for those who haven't came across this song and actually this whole album yet.
😂😂😂
As great as the original version is, this remix gives me more of an emotional release.
12 year ago i listened this song for first time from live in texas dvd, i'll never stop listen LP after that.
30/07/2024 still here
God, songs like this just make you appreciate the blessing of hearing .
This song will forever hold dear to me .
So much emotion in it .
2023 and this is still an all-time favorite song from LP
my fav remix played live ever
(Live in texas)
me too
Yes baby
Oh yes
Yeaaah
Right the feel of it was on another level in Live in Texas compared to this! Glad Im not the only one!
A lot of memory, a lot of feelings... 😢❤
Rest in peace, Chester. You'll always have a place in our hearts..
how can a remake be so much better than the original
This song gives me goosebumps. I always play Linkin Park when life gets tough and they have helped me so much. Thank you
Reanimation deserves way more respect than what it got
This album, along with the orignals are still in my playlist, its sad that new gen don't appreciate this kind of masterpiece. Miss you ma men and the whole LP
This album is life. I feel sad for those who miss it.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THIS ALBUM!! RIP Ches, see you on the other side brother.
I remember the first time I heard this song. I was 13 years old, beginning of 7th grade in 2005, randomly came up on Yahoo Music radio, while playing RuneScape. I stopped everything when I heard this come on... I was mesmerized, my jaw dropped, and I had to have this album. I couldn't believe what I was hearing, as if it were one of the most amazing things I've ever heard. It was in an era of my life where I was really starting to get into discovering music. Truly, that moment was such a memorable part of my life... It was such a beautiful moment for me.
May he live in memory.
honestly this is even better than the original imo
0:41 I've always found it really amazing that if you reverse this part, Mike says "everything falls apart, even the people who never frown eventually break down. Everything has to end, You're so fine, we're out of time to watch it all unwind"
You mean you just realised?
2022 and i still amaze listening to this version, back then remind me my junior high school era.. Super cool..
Oh damn Chester, your pain eased me and kept me going. I still miss you. I’m thankful he shared his pain, tho I’m saddened by the end result.
still listening
Who's still hearing this in 2020..
for sure, since 2003, fav song beneath many amy-songs (for example The Chain)
Ninguna banda no le llega ni a los talones 🙄hasta la fecha
I will always go back to these guys and all their work, regardless of how old I get

Me.
So difficult to get over the fact that a legend like Chester is gone... the world have no idea what a legendary man it has lost..
Reanimation is seriously underrated
sadly, always been.
I was 14 years old, I remember I keep playing this song over and over again.. man miss that time
Me to man I remember my teen years
This is my favorite music of all. Thank you Chester. The Gods are preserving and watching for the worthy.
There is only one God
@@bonkeykong858 Man i am here giving my blessings to Chester and his work, an you are worried about my religion? This blessings is not to you, is for Chester. Go take care of your own gods, that i will stay with mine.
2024 should be the reincarnation of Reanimation ❤
"Nothing but my own mistakes, starring back at me... asking WHYYYYY"
Ese grito final, no es tan fuerte como otros que suele hacer la banda, pero si es igual de desgarrador y emotivo, o incluso mas.
Bro, the last time i listened to this song, it was the year 2005. If this song would come out today, no one would notice that it is twenty-two years old. Timeless masterpiece. R.I.P brother Chester ... R.I.P
