@@TK-rz6ni Nope, 2015-2016 are the first gen of the Eco Boost, later models have worked out the problems the first gen has.

I second this. The 2nd Gen 3.5 had the most problems. I have the 1st gen, no problems ever.
@27:25, that's your tow haul and "sport" button. Basically, when going downhill, it helps you control speed by dropping gears. Saves your brakes.
Also, on your 2x4 / 4x4 selector; pull that knob out and it locks your differential. Handy as hell where I live.

I have owned my 2015 Lariat for a month. This is my 3rd brand new Lariat. I love it. My last one was a 2011. There are to many up grades to mention. I love the continuous cruise control since I put 30000 miles a year on my truck. The new features which are shown in this video are awsum. Everything I had on my 2011 Lariat has been up graded and simpler to use.
I laugh when people say chevy/GM trucks are better. Ford is and has been kicking much ass with there trucks
They do currently have the nicest trucks. The 2015 redesign is the best thing that ever happened to the F150 and it's the reason why I switched from Chev back to Ford.
But from 1997 all the way to 2014 the F150 was consistently one of the ugliest trucks money could buy imo.
The 2015 took the f150 from a 3/10 to a 10/10.
A much needed redesign.

Mike the park assist button allows the vehicle to parallel park by itself, so it looks for a spot, and when it finds a spot, you take your hands off the steering wheel and it will parallel park for you. :)

When in reverse push the magnifying glass on the top left of the screen to turn on trailer hookup mode
Great review.The truck does parallel park itself, however you do have to use the throttle/brake and shifter, but it will tell you what to do and steer you right into the spot! The storage on top of the dash is actually really handy for small items. I usually have pens, pencils, small tools, cards, combs, headphones, and all sorts of little things up there.
I see a lot of videos about the 3.5l ecoboost having problems. Some have quick fixes some are major issues. Check them out before purchase.
the parking button actually measures spots while you drive by them... It tells you which ones are big enough for your cruise ship truck lol

A lot of 2015 and up f150 lariats have LEDs some of the 2015 and up f150 lariats have incandescents on them
Just bought almost the exact same model. 2015 with 17k miles. It’s a beautiful piece of machinery. However I don’t get that mpg at all. More like an average of 15 mpg if I’m lucky.

Robert Mememe Yeah that is crazy. They are getting out of hand with the price on these Trucks or any vehicle for that matter. IF I won the lottery I don't know that I'd buy this if they wouldn't come down at all. I would howeve find some dealer who would; these are nice. Big upgrade from my current 2004 Lariat but DAM!
Google the invoice and and use it for a negotiating point. Money down doesn't necessarily mean they are making profit on the truck. Them not budging is complete greed I use to sell cars for a living. Also always have another deal available even if you have to drive three hours because most dealerships will deliver it to you if they think it's a deal. 18k down is definitely a done deal in most cases.
If you call the Internet sales Dept at any dealership they will sell you one for 5,000 below sticker.
I bought a 2015 fully loaded lariat for $50,000. They sold at invoice plus I got $2,000 off rebates.
I would prefer a longer bed......but with that price....I would get the F-250 instead.

im very interested in a new f150, but im wanting the XLT package with a 5.0. every single XLT at the dealership has an ecoboost. why is this? ive noticed a lot of lariats have the 5.0, but not XLT.
Because the XLT is closer to a base model and doesn't have a lot of features
i don't know how that can be, i've seen plenty of XLT's with the 5L v8. i see alot of F150 lariats that have the 3.5L Ecoboost. Ford now has 4 engine options available on the F150. a 3.7L v6 which is naturally aspirated, that comes standard on the XL regular cab F150. then you have the 5.0L v8, a 2.7L v6 turbo, which is new, and then obviously you have the 3.5L ecoboost.
Ford was and still is trying to heavily promote the 2.7 eco boost. I went out looking for the v8 but did end up settling for a 2.7 because the price was just so much better. Also the v8 ones felt more sluggish (even though they sounded much better)
All of the extra electronics and breakable parts on the 2.7 makes me nervous for its longevity. A 2015-17 5.0 seems like it would be the safest long term option. I don’t like how the 18s have the start/stop technology too.

Beware People. The new 2015 f150 are having premature warped dash issues. Many owners been having this problem including myself. And many of the trucks sitting on lots all over the country have warped dashes. Buyers beware. This is unacceptable for a brand new vehicle.

I'll tell you whats amazing no its xxucking amazing that truck is $60,000.I had a new 1999 that was $23,000 and my 2009 close to $40,000 how much by 2019, figure around 68,000
in Canada f150's can go for 80k+

Depends on how successful that working man is.
that's your option, but you could use this as a work truck. the lariat is only one trim level above the XLT, so it's only a mid trim. but i wouldn't go any higher, because the King Ranch, and Platinum are more for luxury.
