Very clear writing and great acting! Superb episode!! I love how adroitly Dr. Zeltner turns the tables on the killer using the deductive reasoning in a way that only a psychologist might do.
Love the actress, Kim Hunter. It seems, to me, that she always got perfect roles to play on this series. Could also be that she played all roles perfectly. Regardless, great cast, great script and storyline. Adding to list of fave CBSRMT episodes.
I don't get why the detective is so hostile and contrary to the psych. She's an expert and her ideas would be worth considering and pursuing. He fights her all the way through.
The detective and psychiatrist couldn’t recognize the killer’s voice from the tape?? How dumb. An annoying and silly episode but still very entertaining.
What the heck are you talking about . These are recordings by fans from their own radios with their own crappy 1970s tape recorders. Later they uploaded them to the internet and started trading them to complete the collection. They wouldn’t even be available if not for these amateurs.

Intriguing! Well worth a listen.
Really great. One of the best radio plays I’ve heard in a while.
Thanks again, great program

In the 1970s psychological profiling was new to police work. I makes perfect sense to me.
He's just a jerk. It's probably his way of flirting.
Detectives a doofus
Agreed. Columbo would have been on it like a rat on a wedge of Ementhaler.
Good story and well acted. Decent crime drama. 8.0

Is that the voice of Gary Nile I hear in Act two?

So whose name is written on my underwear?
The technical boo-boos committed in days gone by at the radio stations where episodes like this one are recorded tend to get on my nerves.
What the heck are you talking about . These are recordings by fans from their own radios with their own crappy 1970s tape recorders. Later they uploaded them to the internet and started trading them to complete the collection. They wouldn’t even be available if not for these amateurs.
They have medication for that today.
Come to think of it... a lot of people were pretty medicated back then too.
