Mr. Rowe, you sir, are a national treasure. You said something once that will stick with me for the rest of my life, and since hearing it, I've quoted you quite often. You said, "We can't expect a colorblind future when we have a color obsessed present." That's one of the truest statements I've heard all year. Unfortunately there just seems to be far too much money and power to be gained from race-baiting and dividing us based on the color of our skin. The saddest part is our own current government appears to be the most prolific race hustlers of all. Nonetheless, I will continue to quote you on that point until Americans finally wake the hell up. Unless of course I die, or I simply forget. Thank you, Mr. Rowe, for being so damn cool.
Thanks for all the dirty jobs, sea captains, comos revelation and the fact that my grandchildren might be able to call a plumber or HVAC tech (if they arent one themselves). There are very few people, especially entertainers, that i can look at and think "well done". You're at the top of that list.
Mike, I've been listening to you for years, obviously! And watched every Dirty Jobs! I'm over educated & disabled, so I homeschool my 13 y.o. son. He loves you & your content. We live in AL so you are a big deal here. Our county just opened it's 1st tech high school in 20+ years & the website for applications crashed in the 1st three hours! The pendulum is swinging fast to trades! You started this! I'm from the "go to college, you'll be fine" GenX set. Well that didn't work out for me even with 2 degrees. Thankfully, I worked full time & paid for my own college & own nothing. But, I know plenty of people for whom that is not the case. And you have opened so many people's eyes to that! Be proud!🎉
At Home Depot, we were Christmas Designers….we put up the Grinch…in all his glory, whose voice came sliding out…to scare the children……YOU! Mike Rowe…..every customer played the game….who’s voice is in the moving Grinch!! We heard your voice at least 150 times at each Home Depot set. ❤love you Mike.
Blessings, Mike, from this old man in northeast Tennessee. Thanks for continuing to support the trades and the lifting up of the upcoming generations. This is a great format. I’m looking forward to future interviews.
Love the ideas for the new shows. American Masters and Real People were some of my favorite TV shows growing up. Showcasing trades talent and the crazy inventors and boundary pushers would be wonderful to watch. You do great stuff, Mike. Thank you for the content.
A few years ago I went to a Jay Leno standup concert and the show was good. To me the awesome part was he did a Q & A at the end. I think it would be great if you did a speaking tour. Tickets would sell, maybe not large shows but intimate theatres. I could see your anxiety answering unedited questions on stage for your performance unless questions are submitted ahead of time.
*A wise word to young dating Men.* If your date does something rude or corrects you on your date. You need to either just get up say thank you and leave or finish the date and never contact them again. Dates are the best barometer of what your life would be like with that person. I can look back on almost every date I've had and a continued relationship with that woman and I always saw later that our first date threw up red flags that I should have run from. If the women is rude at any point, they're annoying, if they monopolize the conversation or focused on themselves the entire date or they're not intrested in me or my life, past or future then that's how they're going to be in your relationship. Women don't really put on a fake Persona of themselves. They do emphasize what they believe is the positive about themselves and that's usually a negative to Men. Women have trouble telling the truth with numbers so be careful. If a women blames every past relationship on the Man then run. That means they believe they are perfect and they are in no way responsible for their relationship not working our. That means she's not willing to change or grow for any Man and that means you too. A women that says her ex's were all terrible, lying, cheating and worthless Men thsy means those are the type of Men she sttracts abd prefers. *Don't be her next ex!*
I love dirty Jobs I understand the physical stress you had to endure. You need to do like Marlin Perkins did on mutual of Omaha's get you a Jim for the dirty chores. It kept us on the edge of our seats when he would say "uh-oh Jim's in trouble!"
It was so much fun being a fly on the wall while while you guys cut up. Mike, your talent at improv makes this a great show. Keep it up! Cheers, I'm toasting you with Yukon Jack 😂
Chuck be glad you weren't in the dog suit in the middle of a Texas summer.😂! Wish y'all had posted this episode in full. Happy y'all posted even a snippet though.
I would love to have you go around and pick somebody local, have a few drinks, and then just talk. That's one of the things you do best. You got me thinking about my various careers which seemed to change every eight to ten years or so, and I bet there would be others that had history like that which would be interesting.
Hi Mike, I have enjoyed watching your programmes since Dirty Jobs on Discovery Channel (in Singapore) to Somebody's Gotta Do It. Keep it up, Sir! By the way, the phrase 'mano a mano' derives from the hand. It actually (loosely) translates to 'hand to hand'.
Where is the pink cover chuck???? lol.. love hearing these stories that goes with these questions. keep up the great content gents and keep being you Mike. cheers.
Love listening to your podcasts. 😁❤️ Unfortunately I need you to spell some of the collegiate words you use so I can look them up in a dictionary 😂😂. I'm used to using simple words because I deal with simple people. 😁
Love your time together with Chuck...and advice for Chuck - stop carrying Mike - he's a big boy he can do this. BTW I am trying to contact someone at your foundation as I need to change CC number and I cannot do it on the foundation website and also your Cancel Recurring Donation button does not work, as I thought I could cancel my current one and then create new with the new CC #. BUT NO CONTACT INFO...
I have always said, of all the so called 'entertainers' Mike is the one guy I would want to sit down and have a talk with. I am sure there are many of us out here that willing to pay for the opportunity.
I could listen to ya read the dictionary, Mike. Wish I could enjoy a glass of whiskey with ya one day. Listened to you when I was younger, before I joined the Marines. Probably would have gone into a trade had it not been for 9/11. Now I'm in my 40s, and would love to enjoy some bourbon with ya.
Mike, I am envious of the fact that your knees are still flexible enough so that you can curl up casually in a comfy leather chair to chat with Chuck and share an entertaining podcast with your fans. I want to tour your Santa Monica office, but I’ll wait for an invitation. Keep talking and stay dirty!
Mike, As a guy your age, March '62, from up the road, Lancaster, PA, a waning NASCAR fan interested in language, I hanged in here in order to google 'whelm' and make this comment. I now think that you are whelming in the sense that you provide description that immerses "us" into the story. To Mary's question; I could see an open forum of learning deep subject matters aided by google search, guided by insightful people, as an expedition into the heart of darkness that we yearn for, ie.what's going on?. I've been thinking about writing a book titled "Wait, Whoa, What? B$ness as use-you-all". Too 60 grit? Lazy isn't the question to me, there are busybodies ending everywhere. Are we building insight into real values? See The Ultimate History Lesson with John Taylor Gatto for reasons to wake up. Mark Passio's Natural Law talk should ring some bells. Where is everybody Mike? Have a wonderful day.
Does Mike have progeny? Human ones? Never-mind, that question was answered as soon as I posted it, and I think Mike is a perfect choice as a dad. Let's call him Daddy
Rowed trip to Roanoke VA see the star. my 5 year old has watched every episode of dirty Jobs . And all of your your somebody got to do it. Not we watch all your. You tube stuff it is her night time befor bed.
Whole family has watched dirty mike for years. I think I love Chuck best! You all feel like you are an old friends. Please never stop!!!
This voice raised a generation. We love you, Mike.
I agree 100 % . Yet, I have a question. Why can't I ask a direct question?
things that should be familiar.
1) Mike Rowe's voice
2) "I reject your reality and substitute my own"
3) "am i missing an eyebrow"
Can't say it better ✌️
😷☕🇺🇸
Mike Rowe is the reason I went into the trades. Mythbusters is why I became a carpenter with an engineers mind.

CONGRATULATIONS Mike, half a million subscribers!!!!🎉
What a gem of a human being. We need more men like Mike!

I hope this new podcast setup works! Hope to see many more !
Blessings, Mike, from this old man in northeast Tennessee. Thanks for continuing to support the trades and the lifting up of the upcoming generations. This is a great format. I’m looking forward to future interviews.
You, sir, are a grand voice of reason with humor! You really are a national treasure!
Love the ideas for the new shows. American Masters and Real People were some of my favorite TV shows growing up. Showcasing trades talent and the crazy inventors and boundary pushers would be wonderful to watch. You do great stuff, Mike. Thank you for the content.
I hope you two do this for a long time more.
Love you mike! So glad to see content from you on my feed again. Take care, happy holidays everyone
Nothing makes my heart happier than seeing two friends, enjoying one another in conversation… And whiskey!♥️
Glad to see a podcast go back to in person
Love you ! Thank you for all the podcasts and shows, you bring so much joy! Rick looks so different in person then onscreen lol 😂
A few years ago I went to a Jay Leno standup concert and the show was good. To me the awesome part was he did a Q & A at the end.

Great content as usual.
Thanks.
Love you Mike! Dirty Jobs plays on repeat in my house. My husband and I just love it.

Knobel is an excellent choice. I look forward to many more pods such as this.
It was so much fun being a fly on the wall while while you guys cut up. Mike, your talent at improv makes this a great show. Keep it up! Cheers, I'm toasting you with Yukon Jack 😂
You are one of the funniest human beings, and also one of the bravest!
I'm watching this while wearing my "Returning the Favor" t-shirt.
So sad I can't catch this live! Great content, Mike! I was inspired enough to sip some bourbon while watching.
I have watched you for YEARS. I can say. You can never be REPLACED
Good job guys. Thank you!
I wish there were more people doing this. Less pomp and bullshit. Ok, well, less pomp. Love you two
Chuck be glad you weren't in the dog suit in the middle of a Texas summer.😂! Wish y'all had posted this episode in full. Happy y'all posted even a snippet though.
I WISH THESE WERE FULL EPISODES
"Just to find somebody interesting, locally" - and now the whole “Mike’s Pretty Good Campers.” thing makes sense ;)
Outstanding work Mike , how bout a Mobil sound stage… foodtruckish out and about the town idk it does sound dumb. Love all the shows
I would love to have you go around and pick somebody local, have a few drinks, and then just talk. That's one of the things you do best. You got me thinking about my various careers which seemed to change every eight to ten years or so, and I bet there would be others that had history like that which would be interesting.
I see your Fragile ( in a French accent) Christmas Story Lamp!!! - 🥰One of your dozens of listeners 🤣 this was fun! You are a true entrepreneur Mike!
I'd love if you did a live Q&A.
I bet you would, you saucy flirt. Actually, I too think it would be pretty cool.
I want to hear the story of the Lyft driver/ camper builder In OK. ?
I’m sure that ole boy appreciates Mike.
Congratulations on the the show. God Bless 😊
Ok I didn't read all the comments.. I love Mike and his work. Can anyone please post a link here for the rest of the video???? Please...
I have a crow buddy named after you, Mike.
It is literally named "Mike Rowe" because it sounds like "My Crow"
I would listen to this guy quoting the ingredients to corn flakes... preferably in Shakespearean prose.
He does have a clip where he's reading the phone book. It's great to fall asleep to 😅

Full watch.

The only thing missing from this podcast was a couple of Padron 7000 Maduro cigars. Thanks guys.
Love your time together with Chuck...and advice for Chuck - stop carrying Mike - he's a big boy he can do this.

I like this. I had to pour me a drink, light me a cigar and watch. Cheers!
Can't wait for the VR version. It'd be cool to sit there with you.Time to add another camera...
I just like seeing Mike with his sock-feet curled up in a chair.
P.S. The audience identifies with you. We see ourselves in your position, learning about a new job at the same time Mike does.
Mike you rock! Love the channel and content. Peace
I have always said, of all the so called 'entertainers' Mike is the one guy I would want to sit down and have a talk with. I am sure there are many of us out here that willing to pay for the opportunity.
An auditorium show would be amazing as long as you went to smaller towns.
I never realized until now how much that Chuck resembles Adam Savage, even sounds a little bit like him. Ever considered having Adam as a guest?
I’d like to see a short infomercial like “cocktail with Vern” kind of a short for upcoming interviews
Please Mike do live shows, you can start here in Marin County Ca.
I think a great but very random crossover of Mike with Forrest Galante doing some crazy wildlife show together would be amazing
Mike > if you haven't seen it, check out Billy Connolly's (Scot Comedian) motorcycle road trip along the Eastern U.S.
chuck remind me of "Mark horvath of invisible people "on internet. Maybe have him on your show?
I'm personally politically invested in RFK JR. However, if Mike tossed his hat in the ring, I'd consider switching teams.
In person is so much better
Mike Rowe as the next Golden Bachelor. 😂
Mike move out of Cali and come to Tazewell Va.
awesome!
Thank you for your service to our country🇺🇸
Cheers
Just started watching. Who is Chuck and what does he do?
I think Chuck is the producer.
Mike you seem to have a lot of dirty secrets 🤔😉
That story about about a threesome with the cow and the bull is inspiring 😂
I gotta ask, why in the world, world you choose to live in California?
Mike, I am envious of the fact that your knees are still flexible enough so that you can curl up casually in a comfy leather chair to chat with Chuck and share an entertaining podcast with your fans. I want to tour your Santa Monica office, but I’ll wait for an invitation. Keep talking and stay dirty!

Great and lengthy answers but I have no idea what you said.
❤❤❤ u DAAAAHHHDYYY 💋💋💋
I like this, 15 minutes max?
Mike sitting cross legged on a recliner is something I did not need to see
🌷 Is that a man cave Mike? I would love to girl it up with some throw pillows, a chandelier, Liberace's piano. ~ RapaSHI 🌿
Mike didn’t you do a show where you’d go to bed and breakfasts?
Another question, How old is Chuck, I'm guessing last 60s to early 70s.
They went to school together so earlyb5ps just like Mike
You should do one of these podcasts from where your mom lives.
Couple of guys just chatting it up..amor Fati…
Ugh, I just found this podcast.
Does Mike have progeny? Human ones? Never-mind, that question was answered as soon as I posted it, and I think Mike is a perfect choice as a dad. Let's call him Daddy
😊🙂
I miss MOM!
I have a good question. What was your favorite dirty jobs episode to do?
Mike, we do not hang on to anything Chuck says. You that is different.
Rowed trip to Roanoke VA see the star. my 5 year old has watched every episode of dirty Jobs . And all of your your somebody got to do it. Not we watch all your. You tube stuff it is her night time befor bed.
I think you’re shadow blocked my man. Haven’t seen a single suggestion in my feed since I subscribed.
Mike, for the next time, how high can your voice go? We know how low it is.
Josh Gates sold out a venue in DALLAS.. Just sayin...
First
Poop
Why are women never mentioned? Never asked, never answered, etc.
I use to watch your videos
but since you took the right wing and MAGA crap tendency
I’m unsubscribing!
No more church in the government 😂
