The bromance is real. I hope he pairs with Elon Musk and Donald Trump! Galaxy Quest is like the Paradox of Parodies rolled perfectly into Paradise! 777 all the way, baby! ♥️♥️♥️
I was listening to this while driving, so didn't know who the guest was. I only glanced at the screen for a second and thought it was some young actor or rock star. Geez Louise! Does Rob have a picture of Dorian Grey in his hall closet?! A very funny conversation, and makes me want to look back at some of those shows that I never watched, because I sh---canned TV over 40 years ago. Fondly from central Israel.
I am 63 years old and remember watching Hollywood Squares and my dad turning to me to say, “I think they get a heads up on the questions!”. Love to hear he was right. Love your interviews Mr. Rowe. You’re intelligent, insightful, yet never lost touch with the ground you stand on. Well done.
I think I may have ended up here by mistake 😂 I enjoy watching Mike Rowe do many things or rather talk about many things...but the ad about saving gun owners time by saying they DON'T HAVE TO GO TO A RANGE! Is a bridge too far for me. I'm all about rights etc but, people that use them responsibly...like oh I dunno...NOT SHOOTING AT TARGETS ETC AT THE SIDE OF THE ROAD IN THE MIDDLE OF A FIELD. Please stop assuming that people have to be intelligent to own a gun. Sadly the two things are not mutually exclusive 😢
“From authority to authenticity” I’ve always been enamored with Mike Rowe’s vocabulary enough it enticed me into continually improving mine similarly. This phraseology truly demonstrates his avant garde, it’s just so profound. Definitely stealing this.
The only poster I had of a person was Rob Lowe. I still remember my jaw dropping when he walked in wearing a towel on The Outsiders. Le sigh! It would be fun if he would come to the now Outsiders Museum in Tulsa.
Rob LOWE! ❤❤❤ My teen heart throb! And today I find out he is only 5yrs older than me! And he nailed it...the 80's was the best decade to be a late teen, even no being famous!!
Whether the younger generations know it or not, authenticity is key. The reason any of us like or follow Mike Rowe is BECAUSE he presents himself as himself.
One of my favorite interviews Mike! Like two parallel lives. I laughed at you two finishing each other sentences. And, Loved the Bear story but was more surprised to hear someone, other than my family, say Fallen Leaf Lake (my yearly childhood, two week camping summer vacation.
There has been an abundance of great content on this podcast, especially lately. These conversations just suck you in. It’s my happy place. Keep going, Mike!
I learn so much from so many of your podcasts but this one was pure entertainment. Being about your age, so much of the memories and songs and events resonated and I laughed so much. I’ll enjoy watching and hearing it for the second time!!
Mike Rowe has always been a huge inspirational storyteller which has helped me tremendously as I continue to recover from a near fatal massive stroke just left me clinically dead for three minutes. I’m so grateful to be alive. Also, very grateful to be back home and able to watch Mike Rowe continue on with his podcast as long as possible. Would be my dream to one day meet Mr. Mike Rowe. I just watched Tommy boy and then Wayne’s world the other night which actually have Rob Lowe in both movies. Another great podcast. Thanks Mike for the great continuing great conversations! As I’ve been slowly trying to watch Dirty Jobs. I only was able to watch a few episodes when it originally aired on TV many years ago. However, it still resonates with me today at a 44 year young fella. I was a hard-working young guy, and went to a trade school and learned how to be a mechanic, and then later took that towards working on landscape design and things in the outdoor world which involves getting dirty.
Thank you Rob Lowe!! I always thought Tim Robbins was miscast in Bull Durham and now I have an expert who agrees with me. :) Also, the last thing that Rob said is exactly why Trump won the election, "You have to meet the audience where they are."
I've always Loved Robs work, from the Brat pack days to the Netflix stuff with his Son. Now to find he has a Podcast? I'm one HAPPY Aussie :-) The Bloke is a legend!
I bought a hoodie the day after the debate that says they're eating the dogs, theyre eating the cats they're eating the pets... I get a lot of good laughs, making friends and influencing others🍻💯MAGA

This is the best 90 mins I have heard/seen in a very long time. Just as Rob, I hope that the soothing voice of Mike Rowe will be something I can close my eyes to and just fade away when that time comes :) Since I am "only" turning 50 nexy year, I hope to still enjoy both of these great men for as long as possible, both in the acting and podcasting world. A bucketlist item would be to actually meet Mike, so if he ever plans to do anything in or around Denmark I will make sure to show up and say Hi :D
Appreciate the trip down memory lane with Paul Lynde! The Paul Lynde Show was a FAVOURITE of mine. And his voice acting of "the wolf" during The Banana Splits Show, where the sheepdog would always beat the wolf before he could get the lamb. For me, in the list of iconic voices: #1 Paul Lynde. #2 Mike Rowe. End list.
Sounds like a sweet relationship with his kids. Really enjoy this so far. I saw Sammy, Liza and Sinatra. I was young but I remember Sammy blew them away.
Listening at 5 hoping the soothing sound of Mike’s voice would help me fall back asleep and I ended up listening to the entire podcast. Loved every minute!
Gosh I loved this episode. I went through my life in the 70's, 80's through the 2020's, including watching with my kid's Deadliest Catch and Dirty Jobs. Both Mike and Rob are American treasures
Came across this and so glad I did. I could not turn it off. What a great interview with Rob Lowe. You hit it out of the park Mike. I had to subscribe at the end with the Foursome singing.
I Love these Guys..., One of My favorite early Movies of Rob Lowe, was About Last Night..., and Yes Mr. Lowe Your curiosity keeps Us interested. Thank You Both Lowe and Rowe.
I am able to listen to UA-cam all day at work. I have never laughed as much as I did watching Lowe v. Rowe. I was captivated throughout the podcast. Thank you.
I could follow maybe a third of what was being discussed but watching grown ups have an entertaining and interesting conversation was so refreshing!! 😍🤩
Mr. Rowe, enjoyed your stories for a very long time! Starting in SF (KPIX) and now via UA-cam! Even though, I’m in Central Europe. Just wanted to say thank you! 😊
I was born 1963 & I was young in the 80s. I was the cusp, rural America still had the old era & everything wasn't so litigious. I'm like him, glad I was around then & now
I just saw an episode of deadliest catch and thought it was a rerun and soon realized it was a new episode and thought, wow this show was still priority one of any other show or anything else. And how coincidental that it came up in topic the number of years it’s been on. Amazing. I have a Yellowstone bear story from the mid to late 90s. While on a summer family vacation we visited Yellowstone park and were hiking back from one of the waterfalls veiw areas and my wife and I were back behind the kids about twenty feet or so when this big brown bear came from nowhere behind us and galloping up this incline on the trail we where on. Went on past us toward the kids and I never felt so helpless and unable to defend for them ever. He wasn’t concerned about us or the kids and kept galloping on past all of us to where ever he was going. Still sends a chill down my spine when I think about it.
I have always liked your videos. " Have we got a video !! " Best line ever in a TV show. It's great to see you have your own car to love . Just sold my 48,215 Holden. The first model. Some say FX. 74 years old.
Brooo.. I finally saw the news stories that were hidden.. someone suggested that Mike Rowe be the vice president.. ! Congratulations.. hopefully we get it next time
This is proof that one guy can make a difference.. no funding.. no support. Even got shadow banned.. lost my tick tock account.. I put the Mike Rowe for president sign on my Lincoln Navigator and the city came knocking/ basically lost my truck.. one grain of rice fell in the water.. but it started a ripple effect that turned into a tidal wave 🌊..
You was saying Sammy Davis Jr. and my mind was going to Ray Charles 😂! Feeling a little slow today . Need more coffee. Rob is one of the greatest actors of all time in my opinion. Thanks again, you Rock brother! ❤
Mike Rowe has that blessing of storytelling that keeps you locked in on every syllable. Toss in Rob Lowe and this is Golden.
Agree!!
... stay golden Soda Pop.
Not everyone, just say hi.💥That's Joe Rogan. You figured out his success.
The bromance is real. I hope he pairs with Elon Musk and Donald Trump! Galaxy Quest is like the Paradox of Parodies rolled perfectly into Paradise! 777 all the way, baby! ♥️♥️♥️
I want the Rowe/Lowe Podcast weekly.
Loved this interaction: I’m 84 and spent most of this hour and a half smiling. Thank you all.
One of my top ten favorite Mike Rowe conversations, this one! I love both Rowe & Lowe.
I have always loved Mike Rowe! Those beautiful blue eyes and that gorgeous voice, what’s there not to love ❤️? Plus he’s absolutely so American 🇺🇸!
Rowe & Lowe!!! Absolutely loved this chat!! Thanks fur the stroll and laughter down memory lane! ❤
It seems like they've been friends for decades. Lovely.
Best thing I can say about this episode is I stayed up to 4am watching and went to bed smiling. Thank you both.
I was listening to this while driving, so didn't know who the guest was. I only glanced at the screen for a second and thought it was some young actor or rock star. Geez Louise! Does Rob have a picture of Dorian Grey in his hall closet?! Love both these guys!
Mike Rowe with the cool soothing voice, and Rob Lowe a big favor of mine, totally normal guy after going through Hollywood 👍
Well done.
Became clear after a while that it was staged.
I think I may have ended up here by mistake 😂 I enjoy watching Mike Rowe do many things or rather talk about many things...but the ad about saving gun owners time by saying they DON'T HAVE TO GO TO A RANGE! @@cmaden78 Where did you see this ad? It was probably for NOT a gun.
@@scottwilson8581 Well, they were on a stage.
“From authority to authenticity” I’ve always been enamored with Mike Rowe’s vocabulary enough it enticed me into continually improving mine similarly. This phraseology truly demonstrates his avant garde, it’s just so profound. Definitely stealing this.
First Nathan and now Rob, the last few podcasts have been fire.😅
Rob is absolutely right, there was nothing like growing up in the 80s.
Unless you grow up in the 60s...lol
Oh yes there was, mid 50’s- to early 70’s. Perfect except for Vietnam
Absolutely. I want to go back.
I've been saying that for decades. I am so glad I was in my late teens/20s in the 80s. What a fun era.
St. Elmo’s Fire, baby.
Such fun! I totally had a poster of Rob Lowe on my wall back in the day....😂
That's weird dude. Lol
/s I understand you're a lady, I'm just joking.
Me too!
The only poster I had of a person was Rob Lowe. I still remember my jaw dropping when he walked in wearing a towel on The Outsiders. Le sigh! It would be fun if he would come to the now Outsiders Museum in Tulsa.
The most fun, complete interview I have ever watched and enjoyed. Thank you. I hope he visits again.
Rob LOWE! ❤❤❤
My teen heart throb!
And today I find out he is only 5yrs older than me!
And he nailed it...the 80's was the best decade to be a late teen, even no being famous!!
I love Mike Rowe and such a great dialogue with Rob Lowe. ❤
Whether the younger generations know it or not, authenticity is key. The reason any of us like or follow Mike Rowe is BECAUSE he presents himself as himself.
The best ever+
So love this comradarie of life shared at such a time in this world today. Merry Christmas & looking forward to see you once again… pretty please.💡👌
Two of my favorite voices!
One of my favorite interviews Mike! Like two parallel lives. I laughed at you two finishing each other sentences. And, Loved the Bear story but was more surprised to hear someone, other than my family, say Fallen Leaf Lake (my yearly childhood, two week camping summer vacation.
It’s criminal someone looks like that at 60 AND be a good human being at the same time. Choose one man!
God gave with both hands and then some. He really is a decent human, still adores his wife, great relationships with his kids. Rob is good people.
The Lowe Rowe show needs to happen
This is a Christmas present for me ....thank you all so very much ! xoxoxoxox
I love this, I didn’t realize how much I crave connections of our past.
There has been an abundance of great content on this podcast, especially lately. These conversations just suck you in. It’s my happy place. Keep going, Mike!
It's my happy place too!
Well that interview went by quickly! Nice!😎👍
This has all the elements of a great conversation. Intelligence, wit, respect, curiosity. Absolutely entertaining and educational!
Keep up with the barbershop harmonies… I love that you end every episode with barbershop! One of many things I love about this podcast…
I went to my sisters for dinner one night and deadliest catch was on and I was hooked. Mike Rowe I love you. Rob lowe fantastic interview!! Loved this
"Deadliest catch", "hooked"
I see what you did there, heh
Fabulous conversation! Mike I love your stories, Rob, what a breath of fresh air! Now I have to find your podcast!
Fallen Leaf Lake is a hidden gem! We went as a family every year as a kid. I’m now 52 and still remember that place.
Love your show Mike!
I learn so much from so many of your podcasts but this one was pure entertainment. Being about your age, so much of the memories and songs and events resonated and I laughed so much. I’ll enjoy watching and hearing it for the second time!!
Mike Rowe has THE voice. No voice I’ve ever heard has whatever it is that Mike has that fills me with golden love. ❤️
Mike Rowe.

Just found your podcast & listened to your Rob Lowe interview. More importantly just ordered the Clint Hill book !
I love Rob Lowe and I love The Floor. I think it's because Rob Lowe is so awesome!
Thank you Rob Lowe!! I always thought Tim Robbins was miscast in Bull Durham and now I have an expert who agrees with me. :) Also, the last thing that Rob said is exactly why Trump won the election, "You have to meet the audience where they are."
Great interview!
I especially enjoyed the part where you’re reminiscing about the old television shows!
I’m 61. ❤
I've always Loved Robs work, from the Brat pack days to the Netflix stuff with his Son.
Now to find he has a Podcast?
I'm one HAPPY Aussie :-)
The Bloke is a legend!
Perfect description, "A Legend."
The Natural...best baseball movie EVER!! Thank you for this great conversation.

😂😂😂
I made a short with my dog using that song The Kiffness made with that phrase.
I love Deadliest Catch but Mike Rowes voice is what makes it and I love his amazing voice! 🥰🌟✨💃🏻👌🏼
Mike Rowe and Roberta Flack: iconic without playing Aida!

Fantastic flow easy conversation and lovely stories! What a break, a needed change from the reality of the world💕👏 Thanks Mike, Chuck and Rob
Listening at 5 hoping the soothing sound of Mike’s voice would help me fall back asleep and I ended up listening to the entire podcast. Loved every minute!
You two are awesome. What a fun interview. Rob Lowe makes me smile.
Well done. This might be the best interview that I ever listen to.

Excellent conversation. Hello from Baltimore!
Speaking of David Niven's book "The Moon's a Balloon", he also wrote another memoir called "Bring on The Empty Horses". Great books.
Enjoyed them both👍😀
This was REALLY good!! And, it turned out to be portal to several potential sources of entertainment. Thanks, you two were fun!!
Love you both!!!
I Love these Guys..., One of My favorite early Movies of Rob Lowe, was About Last Night..., and Yes Mr. Lowe Your curiosity keeps Us interested. Thank You Both Lowe and Rowe.
Yacht Rock?? That's a new one for me. 🤣 Liked this a lot!
With regard to taking chances, you should read a book called “The Anxious Generation”. Incredibly revealing.
I really enjoy your work.
Thank you.
Thanks for the recommendation 👍
Totally enjoyed this episode and your whole show! Happy Thanksgiving!🍁🦃
I am able to listen to UA-cam all day at work. I have never laughed as much as I did watching Lowe v. Rowe. I was captivated throughout the podcast. Thank you.
One of the most enjoyable podcasts ever! Thank you for the chuckles and smiles!

Great show, lots of fun and insights! Thanks, guys.

Mr. Rowe, enjoyed your stories for a very long time! Starting in SF (KPIX) and now via UA-cam!
Even though, I’m in Central Europe.
Just wanted to say thank you! 😊
I love everything about this interview. Please consider having a part two! I loved being a teen in the eighties! This was so nostalgic and yet fresh.
Props to Rob Lowe- he is hilarious and his stride is so consistent.. gratitude
I appreciate Mr. Mike Rowe for being “down to Earth “ . I can’t tell how long I’ve watched it, but the proof is in the pudding.
I was born 1963 & I was young in the 80s. I was the cusp, rural America still had the old era & everything wasn't so litigious. I'm like him, glad I was around then & now
That was one of my favorite interviews ever. Thank you!
I just got home started listening to Mike and Rob and I was so entertained I watch whole thing and took the stress out of my day!! That you guys!!
*LOVED* every moment of this podcast! Rob’s great, with terrific stories to tell. And you Mike, are a national treasure! *Subscribed*
I grew up listening to Sammy Davis Jr sing on so many TV shows in the 70s he was fantastic!
One of the best Mike. Thanks so much.
Love both these guys. Real people in entertainment. Rare.
😂❤Lowe vs Rowe. My lymphatic system ,. Laughter 😅laughed out loud on my walk in Hiawatha's Forest. Thank you, gentlemen.
One of the best podcasts I have heard here! What a great combination!
I really enjoyed listening to this! Thanks, Mike & Rob.
I wish I could give this two thumbs up... These are so straight forward and informative.
What an entertaining show! I was watching the Rubin Report and just let it play and this came up next. Fantastic stories - especially the bear story!
This was fantastic! Could listen to them all day.
Absolutely great! Glad I listened till the end. A son-in-law of mine is a creative director @ Discovery.
Angler🎣 wife, 20 years, single show ex watched Deadliest Catch…meanwhile, because you 2 gents now👌☺️just subscribed.
Thanks for a great show🤗
This is a FABULOUS episode! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Cute, smart, bromance. Two great members of mutual admiration society❤
I have always liked your videos. " Have we got a video !! " Best line ever in a TV show. It's great to see you have your own car to love . Just sold my 48,215 Holden. The first model. Some say FX. 74 years old.
Mr Bo-Jangles by Sammy is incredible. Amazing
I love Robs energy. Plus his comedic timeing always surprises me because I don't expect good-looking people to be fully engaged or funny 😂
I thought this was great!!! Thank you Mike Rowe and Rob Lowe for
Lol it took me a second, but I was like "wait, they're related." 😂
😂
Rob Lowe very well read individual. And obviously very pleasant and close to his acting persona.
How many Lowe's could Rob Lowe rob, if Rob Lowe could Rob Lowe's?
😂😂😂
Rob Lowe could rob all the Lowe’s that could be robbed if Rob Lowe could rob Lowe’s.
Chuck Norris can slam a revolving door…
Beavis and Butthead laugh!😂
😂
Best interview. Rob Lowe is a favorite of mine.
I love every moment of this.
What a “rad bromance” interview! Loved every bit of it! Kismet indeed❤
I rolled over and said what is going on in the world and i come across this and have not stopped watching
You was saying Sammy Davis Jr. and my mind was going to Ray Charles 😂! Feeling a little slow today . Need more coffee. Rob is one of the greatest actors of all time in my opinion. Thanks again, you Rock brother! ❤
