As someone who is also a trained singer, it is always a pleasure to hear what Mike Rowe has to say. He is always a very practical in excellent observer of life, and an excellent story teller!
That was one of the BEST interviews I've ever seen. The two of them together is magic. Mike Rowe has been a hero of mine for years. The man is incredibly talented & brave I might add. He is an American success story & an icon! Great job, done by Tucker & Mike. Thank you gentlemen 🙏🇺🇸🙏
This was one of the best interviews you've ever done. Great interviewing skills Tucker. We didn't want to hear interruptions and you knew that you didn't have to because Mike's story was very captivating and flowed so well, helping us to learn so much about him. Mike's very engaging and very well spoken. Great job, both of you,
What a great interview with an equally great man. I would have listened to that interview, even if it went on for hours. I bet Mike would have enough stories and wisdom, to easily fill that long of an interview. He has so much humanity in him.
"The pencil goes to you, what will you do with it?" He should write a book about all the people he has met that have started with an idea and a "pencil"
Im just 3 years older than Mike. I grew up and still just live just 20 mins from where Mike grew up in Baltimore county. I remember him and a young lady had a tv show in the 80s selling local real estate. Mike is the man
I watched a tiny bit of dirty jobs once and walked out of the room. That was enough for me. So I didn’t “discover” Mike Rowe until he narrated a documentary. Then his podcast more recently. That voice! The charisma! That wit! And his Mom too! I love them!
Oh no, Mike I was Huck Finn floating down the Lemonwire River, in Wi., On my homemade raft smoking my corncob pipe that I also made. The year 1950. LOL Love you both and both are on the right track. Cheers, Lee
Incredible man, Mike Rowe! He can make ANY story fascinating with his sardonic wit, mesmerizing voice, and magnetic personality. Always been a huge fan of his. I also share his passion for Trade Schools and learning 'hands-on' skills. College is NOT for everyone. Especially people with natural talents and creativity. Sitting in a lecture hall is a waste of time for many. Having A personality and insight like Mikes can't be taught.
I really like what I have heard from you (this interview) today. I realize that I have quite a few similarities with your experiences and some of the things I have been through in my life. At 54 years old I have just reached a sense of comfort in who I am and what I have been through. Thank you!
Given my state of being, after about 30 seconds of discussing the history of the pencil, I'd spend the next seven and a half minutes explaining how the pencil can be used as a lethal weapon.
I own several pencils… they’re in a couple of drawers… somewhere… I’m sure of it. But I’m also sure I need that pencil Mike is describing to me! I need it and cost isn’t an object. Just let me know what number to call ☎️ and I’ll go from there. That pencil ✏️ had a sold sign on it the moment he said “yellow.”
Why is it that everyone these days who produces a video, thinks that we should be listening to background music? In addition, that music must be at such a loud volume so as to make it difficult to listen to the content. I could not even make it through the full video.....................
America needs many, many, MANY more men like Mike Rowe.
Agree
The pencil story is an awesome example of his skills.
Mike Rowe is one of the greatest raconteurs I have ever had the pleasure of listening to. He is completely captivating.

I enjoyed this, thank you Tucker, Mike.
The sum of our life experiences shape and lead us along the journey. No matter where you go, there you are. That's how I heard it. lol
Absolutely amazing!! Truly two men who really enjoy what they do. Great interview.

My dude. That was amazing! Folks, the great mike rowe. This is how a man should live his life. Long healthy one to you both.

Oh my gosh, that was one of the best things I have watched in quite some time!! What a brilliant man!

Everyone is right here...
He decent human being and his Mom is a doll. I have to say i think hes quite handsome.
"The pencil goes to you, what will you do with it?" He should write a book about all the people he has met that have started with an idea and a "pencil"
“As a communicator, because I got my Communications degree.” Classic.
The wood in the pencil came from Cedar Key on the Florida west coast.

He hawked real estate on Sunday morning TV in Baltimore in the 90's. I remember it well!!!
OMG. Getting Tucker and Mike in the same room is amazing. Two wonderful human beings.
I love him!! Mike Rowe is the best!
WOW Just WOW

Wow! I love Mike's pencil monologue!!
Truly awesome human being mike !
Great interview!!!!!
Why do I suddenly want a pencil? Well done.
Ha! Ha!
The pencil story is really a metaphor for life.
I really like what I have heard from you (this interview) today. I realize that I have quite a few similarities with your experiences and some of the things I have been through in my life. At 54 years old I have just reached a sense of comfort in who I am and what I have been through. Thank you!
Wow Mike just described my grandpa to a T!!
Mike is a national treasure
Mike Rowe and Tucker are good people.
That was Very Good…!! 😎👍✅
Brilliant interview.

Well, I think you’re just precious! 😊♥️🇨🇱
Fantastic video
Thanks

Just Wow.

A world I never knew existed.
Oh this was great! Funny. 😅
What? You are telling us your grandfather was successful just by being a hard worker? Crazy. That's probably still an option today.
I've been in advertising sales for 30 years, and I would buy a used car from Mike Rowe! Mike sold me on that Pencil.
Love the interview...cut the music tho...
Mike rocks
Seems I need to go buy a pencil today.
I want a pencil.
Hey Mike Rowe, stop by my place sometime. We’ll sit on the porch, drink coffee and solve the world’s problems from a small place in West Virginia
This took place months, if not a year or more, ago -- right?
Not sure, will have to check into it. Great interview either way.
He makes me want to get a pencil
I find the background music distracting.
Sorry will keep that in mind
Same here, yes...
Make life worth writing down.
Interesting
Great interview. Thanks for posting.
Please, omit the music. It's nothing but distracting.
Assume interview.
I know a good story about a Pencil Salesman that was lynched...
Hello ADL
That repetitive background music you have going during your interview is distracting, nerve-wracking, and entirely unnecessary😮 😊😮😮
Why is it that everyone these days who produces a video, thinks that we should be listening to background music? In addition, that music must be at such a loud volume so as to make it difficult to listen to the content. I could not even make it through the full video.....................
Okay, have been keeping that in mind, but too late for this one. On a side note, it is by far my most popular video to date.
I see your into guns, cool!
The interview is great, but the music in the background is distracting and annoying.🥴
Shame
mike rowe for president
