  • In this video, I'll share the system I'm using to build a 100+ Crore Investing Portfolio.
    I’ll break down my portfolio and explain how my system helps me build and manage it effectively.
    Key Concepts:
    ⏺ Goals and Systems: Setting clear goals and implementing a system to achieve them is crucial. This applies not only to investing but also to health, fitness, business, and relationships.
    ⏺ Visualization and Documentation: Visualize your end goal, document it, and follow a structured system to achieve it.
    ⏺ Consistency: Stick to your system and avoid constant rethinking. Consistent effort and discipline are key to achieving success.
    My Investing System:
    ⏺ Google Sheet: I use a detailed Google Sheet to document my goals and system. This helps me stay organized and focused. You can download this sheet through the link provided in the video.
    ⏺ Personalized Goals: Your goals should be tailored to your lifestyle and financial requirements. I share my approach, but it's important to set your own goals.
    Portfolio Breakdown:
    ⏺ Current Value: My portfolio currently stands at ₹3.29 crores, with a return of 23.11% XIRR.
    ⏺ Investments: I primarily invest in mutual funds, ETFs, and a mix of large-cap, mid-cap, and small-cap funds.
    ⏺ Diversification: My portfolio includes geographical diversification with investments in the NASDAQ 100 and S&P 500.
    Investing Strategy:
    ⏺ Simple Systems: I use a straightforward system to decide my investments, whether it’s SIPs or lump sums. The system includes a consistent portfolio split and regular rebalancing.
    ⏺ Disciplined Approach: I maintain a boring but effective strategy focused on long-term growth rather than chasing high returns.
    Financial Principles:
    ⏺ Making Money: Develop a system to generate income.
    ⏺ Growing Money: Invest wisely to grow your wealth.
    ⏺ Using Money: Implement strategies to use money effectively without selling your investments.
    Compounding Magic:
    ⏺ Long-Term Growth: I demonstrate how compounding works over different time frames and interest rates. Small changes in your approach can significantly impact your wealth over time.
    Download My Investment Calculator:
    ⏺ Customize Your Goals: Use the provided calculator to set and adjust your own investment goals.
    ⏺ Consistent Execution: Follow a disciplined investment practice to achieve desired results.

    Thanks Rishabh, Your content is always motivating. I have 2 followup questions to your content and it would be great if your can share your thoughts on same.
    1. The performance of Nifty Momentum compared to Nifty on an XIRR basis. The difference comes to ~5% on 10 years CAGR as parameter. Dont you think the allocation should be more than 12-15% or more to this?
    2. I am researching more about Nifty Alpha Index as well and not many houses have entered. What your view on that, if your are avoiding, any specific reason?

    • @remoterish
      @remoterish  13 годин тому

      Hi Chintan,
      Those are 2 very valid points. I'm personally thinking of increasing exposure to momentum to 10% or even more in the future. I just like to make moves a bit slowly as in the long run, 1-2-3 years of difference won't matter a lot to me. But yes, You shouldn't be surprised to see a lot more than 10% of momentum index funds or ETFs in my portfolio over the coming years.
      Regarding other smart beta funds, I will wait for a bit more of fund houses to launch smart beta strategy funds as it will signal the market is mature for it. This is a space I'm watching very closely and I could make a move here on this soon.
      As always, I will be sharing all these updates on the channel.
      There is a reason I'm still not on other smart beta funds except momentum, but it's just my limited research.

    Great video, learning a lot from you. One question i have is do you think about financial independence? You cannot be investing 2 lakhs into SIP every month till you are 60-70 years of age.
    It would be great if you can make a video about people who want to retire early and still be able to maintain the portfolio with lesser investments after retirement.

    Hey love the video and the calculator too, appreciate all the work you put into for making these videos! Quick question, so you invest 2.15 Lakh per month (that includes investing in both Mutual Funds & ETFs)? Couldn’t quite understand the total split between the investing amount for ETFs and Mutual Funds

    • @remoterish
      @remoterish  3 дні тому

      Good question and I think I haven’t covered this. I will make a separate video on this but my ETF investments are manual investments while the funds are through SIP. So the etf investment is all on top of the SIP while still following the split. So every time I will add an amount let’s say 5-10L into nifty 50, next 50 and mid cap 150 I’ll just update the totals on the calculator. And I haven’t accounted for these in the long term plan because this depends on how my business is doing

    • @earthpisces2009
      @earthpisces2009 3 дні тому +1

      @@remoterish Got it, so you mean to say 2,15,000 goes into the MF( MidCap and SmallCap as stated in the video) through SIP and besides this, all the lumpsum investments are separate and on top of this whenever you feel there’s enough cash flow to invest?

    • @remoterish
      @remoterish  3 дні тому

      Exactly, whenever I take out dividends from my business which is once in 3 months. So i should end up with much more than what I calculated in this video

  • @krishna60
    @krishna60 4 дні тому +1

    Bro I'm a bit confused like you invested in midcap etf right and again you invested in an actively managed midcap fund . So is it better to invest in an index and actively managed fund together or just index would be enough . Also Great informative video. 8:04

    • @remoterish
      @remoterish  4 дні тому +2

      I feel index should be enough. I was running SIPs since before I started investing in the MIDCAP index, so I just kept them running for now. And once the amount started becoming big, I feel more comfortable in splitting it to both index and MF, but only for Midcap.
      Overall my strategy is:
      For large cap - no active fund, only index
      For small cap - no index, only active fund
      For mid cap - both

    my pov unnecessary complication of the pf you will only manage market return with slightly above beta & sd. You can kick most smallcaps out it brings joy only for short term instead continue on midcap 150 & nasdaq enough to boost alpha plus Nifty + low beta flexicaps or low volatile stocks to have better Risk adjusted return.
