Hi How WIERD - Ive always loved that song and just found out about a week ago it was about a dog just like you did and thought how nice that was and. How the lyrics made sense of that fact. And then just now I see your video talking about itI!!!!! 'm always listening for songs with good drumming in them for my son to play and thought this one even though not powerful rock drumming was really nice. My 11-year-old has his own UA-cam channel Also. { @jettfighterdrumming ) and we've been working very hard on it lately pumping out at least 5-10 songs a week to where I'm way behind on getting them done and posted for him. He's been playing since he was 6 and just this past month or two he's made such a huge jump. I can give him any song now and he can play it through the very first time even if he hasn't heard it before. We have an app that will scroll the notes for the drum part of some songs ( he reads music like he knew how since birth ) so if you see him looking down into the center of his kit that means he's trying to watch the notes flying by on an old I pad mini with a cracked screen😵💫 as he plays. we actually pumped out 5 songs late last night and I was up til About 5 am putting them Up for him. Lately, he's been personally replying to his comments and having conversations and making friends. He also asks for requests which is fun for him. Actually, Tom Sawyer was one, Head East, Beatles Day Tripper, In the air tonight Phil Collins and several more. Tom Sawyer by Rush which he could never have come close to playing a year ago but did an awesome Job last night for his very first try, 2 classic Earth wind and Fire songs, 1 Beatles song day tripper and one heavy rock song- down with the sickness by disturbed. The songs we put up are one time through with him only listening to the song once before he plays it since many he's never heard of before. It seems like you and I are from close to the same time in life and remember the old songs and how great they were/are. All three of my kids grew up listening to all my stuff mainly the 60’s- 70’s which was my favorite time for music so they are very well rounded in musical taste. ANYHOW BACK TO Shannon! My son Jett Will be playing that tonight and then ill post it. I just subscribed and liked your channel since it seems interesting and would be fun to watch! I usually would not allow this, but me and The Shadow watched some of his videos and seeing him at 6 and now at 11 , was impressive ! I did subscribe . It's nice that he has you as his cheerleader and promoter . I wish him the best. I like how he is playing old classics that teach or requires some fundamental techniques . I have a request...I have playlist of many decades on my channel, and i am a sucker for the 80's so can he do Let's Dance by David Bowie ?!

We tried Shannon last night but he got a bit carried away and it grew into kind of a hard rock song by the end LOL We are going to try to do it tonight the way it was meant to be and feel it should be up later tonight or tomorrow morning. His stuff is just filmed and recorded with my iPhone. I bought him a set of nice used drum mics and his teacher gave him a nice interface for the mics but hard as we try we can't make it sound right And YES for sure he'd love to play your request!! Thanks so much again! This encourages him to play and practice more. It makes drumming a lot more fun for Him now wanting to happily get on the kit and not just be his dad yanking him away from the stupid video games and herding him into the basement And sitting on his drum stool. It was always kinda like pushing him but now he's changed the last couple of months and loves getting on playing songs and especially doing requests. Oh and thanks for the heads up on the Michael Jackson song. It's fixed now. I'm the one who has the tedious job of making the thumbnails and writing everything up and posting late at night being tired sobthsts why im sure I put wring sing up instead of Michael Jacksons. the only thing I don’t do is write the description because Jett tells me what he wants to say in each video and I just write it for him Side note speaking of Michael Jackson. I have posted a couple of suggestion on the latest posted video. You have the comments turned off on the Live & Let Die video, and i noticed that one has the most views you've had in 3 wks ! BTW i saw the Jacksons in 1984 , The Victory Tour, where Michael was singing a lot of Thriller songs ! I was screaming like a 13 yr old girl, and i was only 14 a the time !
