I really appreciate the basic information and calm presentation. I just received the Scribe and couldn't figure out how to get around. Watched a couple other UA-camrs and felt lost. Your explanation started at the beginning in the way I needed. Thank you!
Not being able to search written notes is a definite con for me. I use the SuperNote and am able to lasso a word and add it as a searchable keyword. I'd encourage Amazon to do the same unless OCR is in the works.
I am looking for a device that i can write and be able to search for stuff later. I saw a video of the kindle and the person emailed himself a pdf of the notes and re open them to be able to search, that is crazy. Can i install the kindle app in the SuperNote? I was moving towards the scribe because in theory you can read and write. Thanks for the help
Great question! 👊😎 I have not used much storage at all. I got the 64 gb version and have barely put a dent in it! I’ve only used half a gb at the moment!
I just got one open box on eBay. Glad i didn’t pay full price I feel this is way over priced it’s mainly to read books n write notes. It does a great job on writing notes But if your into reading mostly purchase a lower price kindle. This should cost 150 or 175. Not impressed but that’s just me.
How long can be sticky note while reading a book. Can you scroll within the window for sticky note so the length can be even more then what can be fit into the sticky window? I am asking because when reading book iI usually take many notes, so lets say can I read like 10 pages of book while making note in the sticky window? Can i even turn page of the book while still having sticky note window open? Thanks
The sticky note saves to each particular page you’re on. It saves to a little icon that you can click on to open up the note back up. You can have multiple notes per page
great video, just a quick question when you are on a book and make a note can you copy some of the text from the book to quote it? and do those notes pop up in your notes section or only when looking at the book?
Seth excellent video am looking to get one as I am wanting to write a novel one question when you write notes on a page can you turn your notes ie the writing into text that’s one thing I am looking for look forward to your answer thankyou
Parfaite vidéo d'initiation à cette e-link tablette qui s'avère, à configuration et hardware identique, pen et housse et mémoire, la moins onéreuse comparée a la Remarkable 2, Onyx BookAir Note 2 ou Supernote A5X
They don’t take up much space I haven’t even used a GB yet. The scribe feels more natural when writing on it and it’s not as harsh on your eyes than a iPad!💚💙
The A5X has a screen size of 10.3 while the scribe has a screen size of 10.2 and me personally I went with the scribe because it was a little smaller than an iPad or the remarkable 2s. Great comment by the way! 👊😎
800 is too high, but 200-300 is off too. It's 300 without a pen or a cover then each of those is over 100. So all in all youre looking close to 500 for a remarkable 2 with a similar setup.
You should be able to hit the undo button if it was done recently. I may be mistaken on that but that would be my first thought. If not I honestly don’t know if you can. 😬
Those exist, such as the Boox Tab Ultra. Making it an Android tablet increases the complexity, the errors, the battery drain, and the price. The Kindle brand has always been marketed with the promise of simplicity. When they finally did make an Android tablet, they quickly stopped calling it "Kindle" because it didn't fit the brand. Plus, Kindle is an Amazon storefront. They want you using their services. I'm a Scribe owner and, yes, some extra features would be nice--or even just a web browser that isn't totally borked. But it is filling the role for which I bought it.
Just snatched the 64gb with all the bell and whistles. This video is perfect to acquaint with the device. TY
Great review. Thank you. 👌🏾

The new update allows you to search words
Great job !
i have a kindle scribe but do the pin have some type c/ch[p inside or is it hollow?
I got the kindle scribe 64GB with premium pen for £329.99 on October 10/11 prime days ,its gone back up to £410.
I got it after black Friday for 283
Lots of great info. I missed if you mentioned how much storage you feel you are using doing daily a few pages of notes?
Great question! 👊😎 I have not used much storage at all. I got the 64 gb version and have barely put a dent in it! I’ve only used half a gb at the moment!
Only 10 subscribers? Wow. I am honored to be your 11th sub
You rock! Thanks for being here! :)
Excellent review. I have a question, is there any limit on the size when you export your notes?
Not that I have seen!
very good realistic review of the device. good stuff!

You’d have to retype/write the quoted text you want. The note stays on that page in the book.
@@NomadicNichols thats a bit of a bummer but thanks for the reply
I wonder who would have access to those notes one of those days.. 😅

I attached a helpful link on how to convert hand written to text. 💙💚
How much did you pay on Prime Day for the tablet, case, charger, pen? And is it the premium pen?
I paid $343 for the 64gb scribe, case, charging cube. The premium pen came with the scribe.
The best deal is if you trade an old Amazon equipment you’ll get 20% off

how much space do the notebooks take on storage? Also is it better than the iPad for reading and notetaking?

A5X the device feels tooo small for me writing on I may go bigger

The scribe has the best latency of ANY eink tablet , beating the remarkable 2 / Super Note A5X and the boox ultra / C .
$800 remarkable? More like 200-300 range. I think they are making it less expensive with the $3 subscription.

How to restore a deleted note?
You should be able to hit the undo button if it was done recently. I may be mistaken on that but that would be my first thought. If not I honestly don’t know if you can. 😬
@@NomadicNichols thank you for reply
Can you share your notes or send by email?
Yes
I don't understand. They already have e ink smart phones that run android pretty well. Why not run something that has most the software already.

The 🔋 battery will not last long , android Os is very power hungry , whereas the Linux OS uses very little energy.
I've been impressed so far. I use it daily and I only end up charging it maybe every other week.
